This book was really well done, even I felt like going to the library after reading this to the kids. It certainly plants the seed of intrigue into the minds of the kids.

A visit to the Sesame Street Library helps show kids how amazing a library can be. Most people think that a Library is just to find some books and be quiet but as Big Bird tells in the story it is more than that. Through his tour of the library kids can see all of the different activities that can be available to them at their own local library. Also that these activities can be fun and educational, which sesame street books always try to convey.

This a great book about what libraries offer! It is a little outdated(who checks out records or tapes anymore) but it was a very good over view. Librarian aren't just for checking out book, you can have story time, learn origami and play with toys. Aren't libraries GREAT!?!?!
