This is a dark romance book, don’t expect Lucas to suddenly start to play nice,it’s just not him.

As in the first half of this story, Wyn is in for a tough ride, in more ways than one.
Gabriel is now on the scene, so many questions and all will be answered, I can guarantee that.

Evelyn has put her gift to excellent use and given us another masterpiece.
Her characters are so human and real, beautiful and unique, terrifying and loving. It makes you wonder how she keeps it all running smoothly in her head.

Fantastic book with a great storyline and character development.
Highly recommended!!

This book was freaking edge of your seat amazing after following this series since Roman and lux I didn't expect anything less . Evelyn as to be the best writer for anxiety drivin , craziest plots and twist and don't forget those freaking cliffhangers . Lucas is definitely every bit unhinged in all the right ways and his devotion to protecting and loving wyn is a snack you can just eat right up cannot wait to see what else is going to happen with the sacred sons . Also don't forget all the hot smut there's a lot and we love this

I just love the “Legacy of Lies” series so much and Evelyn’s writing style, every one of her books are always so addictive!!
This book is the conclusion of “Lucas & Wyn “ turbulent and toxic love story!!

“Sacred Sons” Lucas is just a walking red flag 🚩 lol 😂 and so dam toxic but also so dam sexy and alluring that “Wyn” finally falls for his pretty boy charm. I would too lol 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
This story really had me on the edge of my seat trying to guess who the
“The Ghost “ ( the person stalking Wyn) was!! I was glad it turned out to be who I thought it was!!

Love that you get a taste of each of the “Sacred Sons” members in all of Evelyn’s books and and so excited to read “Christian ( Lucas’s Twin Brother) and Eden’s) story ! And more of “Shadow and Ash” who is the rival secret society of the “Sacred Sons” and their leader the unhinged Sin Savano 🥵

Overall I’m in for the long haul and I will be truly sad when this series ends!! Thank you Evelyn for the opportunity to arc read for you !! I highly recommend you add this series to your TBR!! 💜💜💜💜💜

The wait for this book to be published was so worth it. I was so eager to find out Lucas's secret, if Wyn would decide who she wanted to be with as well as an unexpected character showing up that I finished the book in three days. As usual, the books from this author has so many twists and turns that it just makes me want to continue reading. I can't wait for the next book.

Took me absolutely no time to finish this book because I couldn’t put it down. I love how even tho it’s a smaller book it just has sooo much packed into the story without it feeling rushed.
I was on the edge of my seat for some part of the story.
It was a great ending for Wyn and Lucas’s story and you definitely going to see a different side of these characters!

Notes:
- Lucas sends me through a rollercoaster of emotions, but I have finally decided that I might love him SLIGHTLY more than Roman.

- While it hurts me to see him give up Wyn so easily because of some outdated patriarchal law of “dibs”, when he finally sees Gabriel assault her he hits Gabriel then forces him to retract his claim on Wyn. I guess this makes up for it 😅

- I was pleasantly surprised to find ZERO ow drama in Lucas’s story!!👏👏👏👏👏

- I LOVED seeing Roman and Lux again. Near the end when Roman sees shit is starting to get dangerous he pulls Lux out of it and they leave. For some reason the fact that he leaves with her instead of sending her off and staying with the guys makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He cares enough not to put himself in danger and make her worried.

- I love that each sacred son member gets his time as leader, finds his woman who domesticates him, leaves the sacred sons, then gives way for the next guy to take over leadership.


TW:
- Lucas has a kink for drugging Wyn before playing with her (this earns an extra star from me lol). Wynn is also technically drugged and raped multiple times by the mystery man. This may bother some people so this is a heads up!


Questions:
- How would Lucas and Gabriel have the EXACT SAME SCAR? 😌

- Why does Lucas use Gabriel’s pet name for Wyn when he breaks in? Is he trying to make her believe its Gabriel?

Summary:
The last chapter of Roman & Lux’s storyline shows Wyn’s boyfriend Gabriel (Lucas & Christian’s cousin) getting killed by a train, and Lucas blaming/vowing revenge on Wyn. Lucas always wanted Wyn, which Gabriel knew so he claimed Wyn first to punish Lucas for not fighting harder for him to become a sacred son.

Gabriel’s death allows Lucas to claim Wyn for himself, even going into her room to drug/rape her (we are misled to believe it’s Gabriel doing this). After publically claiming her as Queen Consort, Gabriel shows up with memory loss, which causes Lucas to completely back out of his claim on Wyn.

Lucas eventually catches Gabriel abusing Wyn, and punches him until he gets Gabriel to publically retract his claim on Wyn. It is revealed that Lucas called Gabriel to the train tracks that night, intending to kill him so he could have Wyn. Suspicious, Gabriel sends a different man in his place who ends up dead. The man is a member of a society known as Shadow & Ash (made of banished Butning Crown members).

Gabriel confronts Lucas when Shadow & Ash show up. They explain that Gabriel came to them asking for help with the plan to record Lucas killing “Gabriel” (actually a lookalike), send him to prison, then drain his bank account. This failed and Shadow & Ash became public, so they slit Gabriel’s throat and stab Lucas in the chest before fleeing.

Lucas survives, Wyn admits her love for him and he proposes to her. Just like the previous book, this one ends with an intro to the next storyline in the series. Lucas commenting on Christian being into Eden is weird, its also weird that they all see her naked. Its even weirder to see Christian dominating and sexual when he’s never been like that before? But oh well

This is the conclusion to Lucas and Wyn’s story. Lucas is unhinged and slightly scarier than Roman was and I’m totally here for it! Stalker doesn’t even begin to describe his obsession with Wyn and his desire to have her as his. But of course, when Evelyn writes a book, it’s going to be dark and dangerous and I’m going to want more! Cannot wait for Christian’s story!

I knew I was going to like Wyn! She is such a baddie. And Lucas, damn that man. For a guy who comes off as strong, dangerous and not one to be messed with, he sure has a soft spot for Wyn. Even if he hates her for the grip she has on his heart.
The whole plot with Gabriel had me gripping my Kindle wanting to know more!
The way Evelyn writes has your full attention, absolutely needing to know what happens next.
And now with this other secret society, I think Christian is going to have a little bit too much fun!

Lucas and Wyn's Finale

Hold onto your seats, folks, because this book is an interconnected series. That’s right, you can’t just waltz into this finale without doing your homework. Start at the beginning (Tell Me You Like It), or you’ll be as lost as a cat in a dog park trying to understand the tangled web of storyline and character development.

Now, THIS. IS. IT.* The final chapter in Lucas and Wyn’s rollercoaster of obsession, betrayal, and oh-my-god-did-he-just-say-that moments. Lucas, the man who decided his cousin’s girlfriend was the ultimate forbidden fruit, is back. And this story? This story is like a shot of espresso mixed with pure chaos—it’s exactly what my drama-loving soul craved.

Lucas and Wyn’s relationship evolves so much with each chapter, it’s practically a Pokémon. Lucas doesn’t just want her love; no, that would be too pedestrian. He wants her mind, body, soul, and probably her Netflix password too. But here’s the kicker: can he conquer her completely and still love her? Or will his dark, brooding secrets drag them both down? Oh, Lucas. He’s every therapist’s dream (or nightmare)—a walking, smirking, red flag, but Wyn can’t resist him. I mean, how could she? That face, that smile, that vulnerability reserved only for her. Ugh, toxic but sexy—what a combo.

This book will grab you by the collar and throw you into a whirlwind of drama, sexual tension, passion, and danger. And just when you think you’ve got it figured out—BOOM! Twists so sharp, you’ll need a tetanus shot. No spoilers, though. I’m not a monster.

From start to finish, it’s a wild, edge-of-your-seat ride. You’ll gasp, swoon, scream, and maybe question your own sanity for rooting for these two. And, as always, check that TW list. My "dark and twisty" might be your "oh no, absolutely not."

A masterpiece of messy obsession. 10/10 would spiral into this chaos again.

First off it is a must to read this as the series and certainly as this book is the conclusion of the journey between Lucas and Wyn but the previous titles gives readers the bigger scope of the plot of this truly tantalisingly delicious dark romance. If you are a new reader to Author Evelyn Austin's works, I would also encourage you to check the trigger listing's as not a 'vanilla' sort of romance and it is better to know what you may come across before you do.
Both this book (6) and five centres around the lead character couple of Lucas and Gwendolyn, aka Wyn and knits together their encounters with each other in what best be described as dark, twisted at times but something quite possessive and devoted. Some truly 'heated' scenes between those two that literally melt your panties. Another thing I loved are the little moments and scenes of having the original characters of Roman and Lux (from books 1-4) return but also that opportunity of knowing we still have other male characters from the secret society of the Burning Crown to hopefully get their own story told. Great characters throughout with truly emotionally charged moments, with a degree of mystery surrounding events. Plot nicely balanced with action, drama, betrayal, possessive Alphas, acts of violence, and spice that will really melt the biggest icebergs. My one concern ( not really) is that none of them ever seem to be attending their college classes! Oh, yes you will see how this story ends in a cliffhanger but one that simply keeps you wanting more from these "Burning Crown" guys.

“You Belong With Me”is the sixth installment in the “Legacy of Lies Series.” This is a dark academia college romance and is the first book in the duet. After Roman Rush steps down as the King of the Sacred Sons, it falls to Lucas West to become the King. The Sacred Sons of The Burning Crown are Lucas, Christian, Jackson and Ash.

The relationship between Lucas and Wyn is changing with each chapter. Lucas wants to dominate her mind, her body and her soul, but can he still do this and love her at the same time? Lucas has deep dark hidden secrets that he is afraid to tell Wyn. He is a walking talking red flag to Wyn’s sanity, but oh god, he is so sexy, and that smile, that she cannot resist. He is also incredibly handsome with a vulnerable side, but only to her.

“My muscles are tight, my body rigid as I try - and fail - to resist her siren pull. Goddamn, this chick. With anger still burning in my stomach, I lean into her. Her head tilts up, her lips moist are so damn tempting, it hurts.”

The story will captivate you - it is full of drama, sexual tension, passion, danger and a few other twist and turns that you do not expect …. I will not ruin the story for you except to say, it will keep you will be totally engrossed and not able to put the book down!

A thoroughly enjoyable read from page to page, one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

The author is amazing in writing emotions. Any chapter from the guy’s POV is absolute masterpiece. However, there is def more work required in terms of editing and plot. Continuity can sometimes be sloppy.

For example, towards the end of the book Wyn is the first one to walk into Lucas’s hospital room made exclusively clear she is the first and then 2 pages later Lucas says Christian told him (whatever there was to tell) right before she walked in. Sometimes in a steamy scene she’s on her back and then half a page later it says he flips her on her back…

If you don’t get annoyed by things like that, go ahead. Personally it didn’t annoy me too much but it’s something easy to avoid with a bit more editing.

And my second issue is def the plot holes. We go from 0 to 100 in terms of ‘i’m not touching her’ to ‘i’m not leaving your side’ with zero explanation as to why the character is changing perspective or any actions that might have lead to that. He goes home… wakes up next day and boom - she’s his.

Also in the first series with Lux it was said they were flirty and now it says he didn’t even look at her when she walked in or was always rude.

Overall, i still give 5 stars to the books mostly cause it’s so rare to find such well written obsessed unhinged male characters. It makes me forgive everything else wrong with the books and come back for more! If each of the books had another 40-50 pages smoothing out the plot holes it would absolutely rival some of my fav rereads that i keep on my bookshelf

LOL. I thought I had this figured out, but Evelyn Austin switched it up on me. I devoured this book in less than a day.

Wyn and Lucas were so wonderfully toxic. They recognized it, but couldn’t stay away from each other. Thank goodness for that because their chemistry was fantastic.

I loved this storyline. I absolutely thought I knew where the plot was going, but I as wrong multiple times. This was not a typical stalker romance. There were twists and turns that kept me glued to my book.

I’ve deemed Evelyn Austin my own Queen of Obsessed MMCs and Lucas was no exception to that. I’m telling you, if you want OB 👏 SESS 👏 ED 👏, just read her books. She writes their POV to be so convincing 😅 You can’t help but agree with the crazy things they do. 😝

I am so happy to read Lucas and Wynn’s HEA. They had a bit of push-pull going on, but finally made it work. I am beyond excited to read Christian’s story next.

TLDR: Conclusion to the spicy stalker romance with tons of suspenseful twists and turns.

You Belong With Me starts right where Look What You Made Me Do ends. After Gabriel has made himself known, Wyn and Lucas struggle with what is truth and what are lies. Trying to battle all the overwhelming emotions, Wyn knows she is in danger and tries her hardest to not upset Gabriel while also trying to keep a grasp on what she has with Lucas, even knowing he is keeping a huge secret. Will the secrets that Gabriel and Lucas are hiding come to light? Will Wyn be able to overcome everything that has happened to herself? I was captivated from the start and had a hard time putting it down. Fantastic addition to the series and I can’t wait for Christian’s story to come out!!! I received this directly from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Sad to see their story end but on to see what the rest of the series has in store for me!

I wish there was more about Gabriel and his amnesia and his connection with Shadow and Ash in here. I was left with some questions about his return and how everything went down.

Loved Lucas possessiveness and love for Wyn but I’ll be honest…the push and pull between these two at times made me want to pull my hair out of my head lol.

Book 5 with Lucas and Wyn is for sure my favorite and this book is definitely a 4 star read, just wish it was plotting more!

Spice is on point though 🥵

The word whore was massively overused in this book, and not just in dirty talk. It just seemed like every guy in her life was calling her a whore.

The double standards are ridiculous, the males in the story are actively sleeping around and the culture of the not to secret society seems to be very sexually fueled but she has 2 sexual partners, one being her long term boyfriend but she's a whore?

The author feels like they can't decide if thier sex positive or just drowning in misogyny.

It was a bit of a roller-coaster with a bit of mystery, emotional times, and a few twists. There was also action, drama, and steam!
Most importantly, we do get some answers.

I've said this about this entire series. These are ALL 5 star reads for me. Easily 100%!! I ate this up and read it in between bottle baby goats, stomach bug, a dog emergency vet trip and just motherhood to 3 kids. Another thrilling, adventurous book by the author! I can’t get enough of this extraordinary series…. A favorite of mine this year…. I’m off to read book 7 and I’m very excited indeed…
