What do you do when your entire world has crumbled beneath your feet, and everything you've worked so hard for has been taken away in the blink of an eye?
Tragedy has struck Seaview Pines. My ex-husband is being framed for crimes he didn't commit, and the man responsible is still in the wind and has adopted a more lethal agenda, like murder. I was told to stay away, let Spike and Phoenix handle the turmoil, but when the people I love are dying and are put in more danger thanks to this sick psycho's obsession with me, I have no choice but to continue investigating. He thinks he's won, that he has us right where he wants us, but little does he know, we have a plan to draw him out of hiding.
The only questions now Will it work to our advantage, or will everything take a much darker, fatal turn?
Make sure u read Twisted Attraction before u start this book cause it starts off right where that one ends
Charlotte and her 2 men, Spike and Phoenix, have to try to save Char's ex-husband Karl cause he is gettin framed. Spike and Phoenix have bout 2 weeks to find the real perp with Char's help. But everyone Char cares bout ends up dyin or hurt really bad cause the psycho is obsessed with Charlotte. Phoenix and Spike told Char not to trust anyone til they find out who is stalkin her and framing her ex-husband. This series is so good and omgoodness ur gonna be goin back in forth with urself wondering who is the perp. This book had me in all my emotions. And what a twist i didn't see comin omgoodness. If u haven't read this series, u definitely need to.
OH, MY, GOSH!!!! I DID NOT SEE ALL THAT COMING!!! Oh my oh my oh my!!! I've been trying to figure out since book one who the murderer was, and when I finally do. I'm so pissed off I didn't think of them!!!!! Argh!!!! But this book is so sad! Everything that happens, the murders, the hurt, the trail everything keeps you on your toes. I literally did not want to stop reading. I had to know what happened.
This book got lore twist then any book I read this year. I wanted to cry so much at certain points in the book. Because compare to the first book, this one more mystery and solving the case while book one more smutt and getting to know everyone. But man is this book so good!!! There is HEA at the end of the book, so I'm happy for that but it's sad for the rest of the book!! If you love a great mystery book that keeps you on your toes, that shows you how to be loved, and have those fun times. Read this duet!!
My rating: 4,5 stars. Too good for 4 stars, but not good enough to be a solid 5 star. Jhenna Smith was a new-2-me-author.... and I loved her writing style! Really enjoyed reading the Love Kills duet; thriller, suspense, twists & turns and great M/F/M sex. Only Will definitely check out other books written by her!
Edit: checked GR, but Jhenna Smith's other books looks like to be about witches and highschoolers... both a big no-no for me!
I have loved words except I want more!! I am sad to see this story end because I am so in love with it. Charlotte, Spike, and Pheonix are everything. These characters grow so much, and their is so much depth to them. This second half of the duet is still a wild ride of mystery and what ifs. They are racing against the clock to find the real bad guy and hopefully save Karl at the same time. Every time I thought something was uncovered or we figured it out, another twist was thrown in. I've never read a book faster than I did this one because I was hooked into the story.
Jhenna Smith delivers a high-stakes thriller in Fatal Attraction, blending suspense, action, and emotional depth. The protagonist faces a relentless enemy while fighting to clear her ex-husband’s name and protect her loved ones. As the danger intensifies, the story explores themes of resilience, love, and justice.
Fast-paced and gripping, the book keeps readers hooked with its twists, though the relentless tension may feel overwhelming at times. Perfect for fans of intense thrillers, Fatal Attraction is a compelling read that balances heart-pounding action with emotional weight.
This was a really great read, and a great conclusion to this duet. I loved the Law and Order feel of this book, and the suspense and plot twists had me invested to the very end. There are lots of unique and interesting characters that helped to really bring this story to life, and Charlotte and her men are at the top of that list. Spike and Phoenix had a very distinct dynamic in their working relationship that carried over in their relationship with Charlotte. Definitely recommend adding this one to your reading list!
This book was a great follow-up to book one. It is a continuation, so you need to read it so you know what's going on. Charlotte is still dealing with Kyle, and something horrible happens that affects her and Peter. Spike and Phoenix are detectives who are also trying to protect Charlotte and find out what is going on. This is an MMF with a mystery that will keep you guessing. I definitely recommend this series!
Pre read for Jhenna and she is a rock star one of my favorite authors ever! Her writing style is amazing, she really knows how to draw in the crowd and has us wanting more . This book is hands down one of my favorites , keeps you on your toes and is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. This is a must read , this is a book you can’t miss out on .❤️❤️❤️
Spicy 🌶️, crime , two men one women 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️❤️❤️😘😉😉. This book I was shocked at how many twists and turns I wasn’t expecting !! Amazing
OMG THIS BOOK loved it! MMF this is the second book in this series and it was amazing. The twists and turns and in all your feels. Twisted attraction is the first book and a must read Fatal attraction is a CSI Law and order type book with spice and sex club vibes. Enjoy 😉
This was a great ending to this duet! I love Phoenix and Spike so much! This is a mix of true crime as they are trying to solve some serious attacks and romance! Spike and Phoenix are detectives while Charlotte is a lawyer!
I liked that the story was wrapped up but honest felt the whole storyline with Crow and crew was rushed and felt out of place. It almost felt like there was too much going on. Still an enjoyable read.
