My days reading board books to my children are gone, so this book comes off the shelf and into the donation box.

It's not a great book, but it does do a moderately good didactic job of teaching how a pumpkin grows and how it becomes a jack-o-lantern.

The art is fair -- nothing special, nothing amiss.

Even so, this is likely the sort of book that you would only read once a season ... if at all.

Really like this...follows the farm-to-porch progression from a seed, to a pumpkin in the field, to a Halloween jack-o'-lantern. We'll check this one out from the library next Halloween.
