Adventurer Lara Croft visits exotic locales in search of the world's greatest treasures. From the archives of Top Cow Productions, one of the leading publishers of comic books in North America, Bandai Entertainment is proud to release a new series of graphic novels featuring the best of Lara Croft's adventures! From one of DBD's newest publishers!
Dan Jurgens is an American comic book writer and artist. He is known for his work on the DC comic book storyline "The Death of Superman" and for creating characters such as Doomsday, Hank Henshaw, and Booster Gold. Jurgens had a lengthy run on the Superman comic books including The Adventures of Superman, Superman vol. 2 and Action Comics. At Marvel, Jurgens worked on series such as Captain America, The Sensational Spider-Man and was the writer on Thor for six years. He also had a brief run as writer and artist on Solar for Valiant Comics in 1995.
Really enjoyed this! Been a hardcore TR fan game-wise since 1996 but never delved into the comics. Glad I did, because the art is great (even though it's black and white in this, while the original comic books were color) and the story lines were quite interesting. Gotta read the other four now!
I've always felt that Lara Croft is one of the best video game characters ever. It's only natural that a video character would transfer easily to movies (both were fun!) and comics. This graphic novel is a compilation of the first ten Lara Croft comics from Top Cow, and includes three complete stories, all of them with her old sidekick, Chase Carver. In one story she is retreiving an ancient mask once worn by Medussa, herself. In another she is fighting dinosaurs! And finally, she is after an ancient artifact that allows a person to see the future. Great stories! Bundles of fun! A must read for Lara Croft fans! I am surprised that I had to enter this graphic novel into the goodreads system, that's why there's no picture of the cover, as it is easily available on Amazon.
