Stetson

They say it’s lonely at the top, but as the most sought-after rookie player in the MLB, I can tell you they’re wrong. I could have whomever and whatever I wanted. And at twenty-three, I really only wanted one thing. Instead, I got two. I never saw myself as someone’s boy, but Levi’s soft and sweet attentions were everything I could wish for in a Daddy. And I loved pushing Barrett, whether we were in the bedroom or on the field.

Levi

Barrett said I could have anyone, and the moment I laid eyes on Stetson, I knew I had to have him. After saving his ass from a career-ending move, I made him my boy. He fit into our lives like a baseball in a mitt. Watching Barrett fall for him only made it hotter. It was almost perfect, but having my boyfriend and my boy play on opposing teams wouldn’t become a problem, would it?

Barrett

I loved Levi, but I was no one’s boy. He wanted one badly though, and I had my career to focus on. If I didn’t bring home a World Series win this year, I’d strike out. Permanently. So I told Levi to pick anyone. I never thought he’d choose Stetson Holloway, the hottest ace in the league. Around him, I felt every one of my thirty-two years, a washed-up pro athlete without a title to his name. Now he’s not only on the field but in my house—in my bed. And I loved it, but I hated that it could cost me everything.

Stetson is book one in the Playing for Keeps series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

“Love is too beautiful to be hidden in the closet.”

Once upon a time, there was a little kid who consistently had their face glued to the pages of a book. With a little faith, trust, and a whole hell of a lot of determination, that little kid went from the person reading books, to the person writing them. And thus, Rae Simmons was born.
With the publication of their debut Hunt You Down in the spring of 2022, this Atlanta native set off on a mission to highlight the hard-hitting issues facing the queer community.
When they’re not writing, Rae can be found curled up on the couch with one of their three dogs with their knitting in hand, watching Grey’s Anatomy for the millionth time—much to their partner’s dismay.

Everything about this should've worked for me and nothing did.

The characters were flat, the writing boring, and I don't usually mind insta-lust if done well but it was too much in this book.

First person past tense also somehow felt off? I don't tend to pay much attention to that, and don't have a preference for things like 1st vs 3rd person but I guess this just added to things being off for me.

3/5 stars 3.5/5 spice

This was way too insta love/lust for me unfortunately, I’m a sucker for more of a build up. If you like a fast paced book and relationship you’d enjoy this one.

I liked how 2 of the men were from rival teams, it gave their games against each other more intensity and tension. Barrett was my favourite character. He had a dom side but I found him mostly soft for his men. I also loved how they announced their poly relationship to the public by claiming each other at the press conference as a united front.

I wish we had more scenes of them all together. There were a few time jumps indicating how well they were getting on and being busy but not a lot of showing. I was happy that there was a small part towards the end which told us how Levi and Barrett met.

- MMM
- Age gap
- Rival baseball players X sports agent
- Daddy X boy

I was quite enamored with the established relationship Levi and Barrett had in this one. Often MMM can be rough for me because I still feel like there is cheating despite knowing it is poly. As a monogamous person, poly relationships are sometimes difficult for me to be drawn into in book. This book did not have that problem at all. I found the quest for a third believable and I enhoyed seeing multiple conversations between the pre-existing relationship to confirm everyone is happy. This was really sweet. Stetson was a perfect addition and I really loved this one.

I feel like crying just thinking about this book.

I swear I will never get over that feeling of awe I get whenever I find a book that I know will hold a place in my heart forever.

This one is one of those books, one that will stay with me forever, one that I will re-read over, and over, and over again because it feels like home.

Stetson is an MMM, age gap, rivals on the field, daddy/sir kinda book. With all these k!nks, you'd think at some point someone will make a mistake to ruin the dynamic, but oh, boy... nope. That's not the case.

Stetson falls into lust with Levi at first sight. He doesn't stand a chance, and neither does Lee. The only issue is that Lee already has a boyfriend.

Barrett has been a baseball player for ages now ( joking, joking ). He is one of the best but something is missing. That trophy anyone in the league wants. This will be his year. It has to be... RIGHT? Well, there's only one problem, Stetson, his boyfriends new obsession, and the rookie everyone in the MLB is talking about. In a way, it was his year, just not how he expected it.

The way they fall in love, all 3 of them is just so freaking beautiful. I swear my heart did those stupid things along with my stomach, and I fell in love alongside them. How could I not?

You'd think that the rivalry on the field would transfer in their personal life, but they were just so good at keeping things separate that the only thing that happened was to make them the best version of themselves.

There are moments in the story where one or more of them are insecure, but the way they deal with it is just so healthy, so beautiful to witness. This story shows that love is endless if you let it be. It shows that love looks different for everyone and that we should never judge what we don't know or do not understand. For many polyamory represents something bad, something to condemn, but if the people love each other sincerely, it is just as beautiful as any other love story.

I loved how jealousy never had a place in their hearts. They just looked at each other, and they knew, deep in their hearts, that this is it. They knew that their lives were complete and their hearts could stop searching. The missing piece ( Stetson ) was home.

I could talk about this book for ages, which I probably am going to do, but I'll stop here cuz otherwise I'll start crying again.

Infinite stars, infinite love. That's what this book deserves because Levi, Stetson & Barrett stole my heart, and I don't wait it back. They can keep it. It's theirs.

To say I highly recommend it would be an understatement.

I really enjoyed this! I was hooked right from the start, and the chemistry between these 3 was great.
It was great to watch the individual connections change, evolve and become stronger. I loved how they complemented and completed each other. I felt like we got enough backstory about Barrett and Levi's history to understand their relationship, and they built on that to have the strong relationship between all of them. I loved Stetson's brattiness, and I also loved how driven he was in his career. I also loved how Levi took care of his men.
I did feel like some things happened off page that I would have enjoyed to happen on page, but that is a me thing and I really enjoyed the book as is.

It was a fun, quick read that I fully enjoyed and now I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Yes, Daddy! The PERFECT blend of sports romance and kinky goodness.

For me MMM romances can fall flat, often a result of one person feeling like a third wheel within the story or a feeling that two should just be together, no third needed. Simmons dodges these pitfalls and more than succeeds in capturing the beauty of a true polyamorous relationship.

I LOVED these men. Levi and Barrett had such chemistry and love from the jump, but had already determined their future would include a third.

Stetson was adorable and fit in Levi and Barrett’s life immediately. From embracing the daddy kink with Levi, to working out and training with Barrett he completed them in ways they didn’t even anticipate.

I loved that their relationships developed fairly fast within the story and the plot followed the trials that came their way as a throuple.

I fell in love with this world where queer athletes are more commonplace and celebrated. Simmons painted a beautiful world and created dynamic characters to fill it. More than one support character jumped off the page and I am more than excited for NFL bestie, Maverick, to get his HEA.

Amazing start to a series. Five stars.

Daddy kink (no age play)

I received an ARC for Stetson and I am so happy that I did! I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t recommend it more!

Stetson had many of my favorite themes:
MMM, daddy/boy, and age gap. I was very impressed with this new to me author and I cannot wait to read more!

One of my favorite parts about the book was the fact that the “rivals on the field” aspect was not super negative between the characters. While it did have an impact on a part of the story, it wasn’t a point of conflict between the characters. I’m not a fan of books where the rivals hate each other for most of the book and finally the relationship clicks at the end. This book had them clicking fairly quickly and was not a full focus of the story.

I also loved that each of the characters had some insecurities at one point in the story, however, after discussing with the others, they moved past it together. I appreciated the communication that they had (a time or two it was lacking but within reason) was brought forth. So many stories lack communication until the end which turns me away from books, however, the communication in this story was great.

One point regarding communication I do want to point out about the book that I loved: the use of a safe word and the immediate respect Barrett gave Stetson after. I haven’t come across many books where they used a safe word and I’m so happy it was used. This showed that it can happen in real life versus making all relationships like this all seem perfect and safe words are never used. The discussion and everything after the safe word was used was perfection.

This book was my first baseball book which is shocking as baseball is my favorite sport. This is definitely one of those books that will stick with me for a long time. I can’t wait for more in the series.

1st person, past tense, multi PoV
Stetson Holloway (23), #12, rookie pitcher for the Atlanta Thrashers baseball team
Levi Grant (40), baseball agent
Barret Swindon (32),#10, veteran catcher for the New York Hellbenders baseball team

This book and all its elements should have been a grand slam for me, however, it just didn't manage to really grab me. It was so insta that I quickly got bored with the story since the characters were all together so early on and there wasn't really anything compelling to keep me engaged for the rest of the book.

I really enjoy watching MCs being drawn to each other and falling in love, however, this was missing all that and the relationships evolved at such a rapid pace that the eventual love declarations felt incredibly anticlimactic. How am I supposed to swoon at an ILY after the MCs have been living together for months?

Levi and Stetson's relationship arc initially felt forced but Stetson's and Barrett's by comparison felt a lot more natural. Their bedroom chemistry was excellent and the spicy scenes were incredibly hot but I was hoping for more depth and development.

There was a lot of opportunity for a great story to be told, but everything that could have been shown was glossed over.

I mean you have an established couple seeking a third to satisfy one person's need for a 'boy' and the person he's drawn to is his partner's professional rival. Tantalizing. I don't quite know how it fell so flat.

I didn't love how the kink was navigated. There was a lack of on page communication and boundary setting. In addition the 'big reveal' moment left me with a bad taste in my mouth at how it was handled. Stetson was basically blindsided and told to "stand right over there and look pretty," which is wild.

I will say that I loved the epilogue, it was pretty cute. The baseball and games were fun and enjoyable. I also loved the poly rep and how well they worked together once they were settled in their relationship.

I was given an ARC and voluntarily wrote an honest review.

This is the first book in what should be a fun series to read. This is the story of Stetson, Levi and Barrett. Stetson and Barrett are professional baseball players on different teams. Levi is a sports agent. After being outed earlier in his career, Barrett is in a serious relationship with Levi. The only problem being that Levi is a daddy who really wants a boy of his own. Barrett has no interest in filling that role and tells Levi to pick anyone he wants. Unfortunately for Barrett, Levi picks the hot new rookie in the MLB, Stetson. Both Stetson and Levi are in insta-lust when they see each other. Not fully understanding the lay of the land, Stetson doesn't want to break up Levi and Barrett. Once he understands, he is open to trying to have a relationship. Barrett's only problem with Stetson is that he is on the team that my take away his chance to win the World Series before he retires. This is their story. I really liked how team politics and jealousy did not enter into their relationship. Work was work but their relationship was something else. It also came first. The communication needed for a successful MMM relationship is extensive but these three seemed to manage it with ease. The book is well written and easy to read. I enjoyed the small pockets of bratty by Stetson to alleviate the tension. A fun read.

I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Daddy, Sir & The Brat

Hot! What else can I say but hot! This book burns fast & hot with 3 gorgeous men, some serious spice, and a dash of DP for good measure. You won't want to miss this one!

Spoilers

When Stetson & Barrett's teams face each other in the World Series, I found myself torn on who I wanted to win, the rookie in his breakout season or the veteran who is retiring and has never won a World Series.

The only issue that bothered me was that when shit hits the fan and pictures of Barrett & Stetson are leaked, Barrett tells both his teams' publisits and Levi that he can not a public statement without Levi & himself both talking to Stetson about it first. This "talk" between the 3 of them never happens, unless it is off page and I think it would have been a very important conversation to see, as it is a very significant conversation Levi, Barrett & Stetson need to have - what they are to each other, what they want long term what they are going to say publicly. They have conversations in pairs but never as a trio before the press conference, and communication is integral in any relationship but especially a polyamerous one. They have a quick conversation all together before the World Series, but I think it would have been important to see before the press conference.

4*
Nailed the ending. The World Series had me choked up. All those conflicting big feelings and the suspense of the game had me wringing my hands and then tearing up on the last page. So satisfying when an author sticks the landing. 👏

I’m no baseball expert, but I’ve been to enough games to say the author does a great job of painting the suspense and drama of the sport, while blissfully skipping over the boring stuff. Baseball games IRL are very long. 😂 The games in the book had me wide-eyed, waiting for the next pitch. As a first foray into sports romance, Rae Simmons knocks it out of the park.

Levi, Barrett, and Stetson are fun, hella spicy, and they make sense together. Their needs and desires are complementary, inside and outside the bedroom. They challenge each other to be better. By the end, it’s a really satisfying dynamic. My favorite element is the romance between Stetson and Barrett. It takes time, has starts, stops, and failings, but ultimately blossoms into something none of them expected. And that ending… 🥹

A few things didn’t work for me. The initial breakfast scene between Levi and Stetson is weird and aggressive. Levi specifically tells himself not to come on too strong… and then does exactly that. Stetson goes from being the big dog to rolling over and showing his belly in a blink. It feels very insta-lust/love, plus add in a proposition for daddy/boy commitment immediately after waking up in a stranger’s house. I was uncomfortable and it took me a while to get past it. I needed more chemistry and build up.

The other scene that didn’t click for me was the press conference. The guys put a lot of emphasis on talking together to do the right thing. Barrett refuses to disclose private details without talking to Stetson first. All of that is great. Then we get a press conference without discussion or input or consent. WTF. Very bad. Beyond just Stetson, what about his parents and family? Where is his agent? Where are his team officials? The whole thing is likely a contract violation on top of being generally problematic.

None of this spoils a great book, but I got in my head over it. I’d still read this again just for the bittersweet joy of the ending. It’s so good. 😄 I’m getting misty just thinking about it. ❤️‍🔥

From the moment I started Stetson, I wanted to see how their relationship worked out. Levi wanted Stetson from the moment he saw him and knew he would add to the dynamic he had with Barrett. I only saw one problem, Stetson and Barrett played on opposite teams that had an intense rivalry.
From the moment Levi and Barrett saw Stetson, they were goners. Stetson without even trying fitted in to their dynamic, meeting a need for both of them. The relationship never felt rushed and you could see the trust they all had for each other. Levi and Barrett's maturity helped make the relationship especially when outside forces poke their nose in business that they had no rights to. The way Stetson's bratty side came out to play, had me laughing as the majority of the time he did not know he was doing it.
The story flowed smoothly and whilst I have not got a clue about baseball, this is only my 2nd book that I have read involving baseball . For a newbie like me, the explanation on what was needed to do, to get to the final was explained in detail and I found myself drawn in to the excitement of the World series.
This was such a good read and I can gush about it for days, but I do not want to spoil your enjoyment. I am looking forward to the next in the series

Stetson by Rae Simmons – A Sizzling Baseball Romance

This book was steamy, emotional, and downright addictive. While I wished for a bit more build-up at the start, the dynamic between Stetson, Levi, and Barrett quickly pulled me in.

Stetson, a rising MLB star, hooks up with Levi—only to discover he’s already in a committed relationship with Barrett, a player on a rival team. Instead of drama, we get an incredible poly romance where Stetson becomes the perfect brat between Levi’s nurturing dominance and Barrett’s strict control. Their chemistry? Off the charts. The way they navigated love, lust, and the challenges of playing for opposing teams made for a compelling read.

And the spice? Lace, bondage, praise, overstimulation—this book did not hold back! The kink was perfection, the emotional depth was beautifully handled, and the epilogue? Pure satisfaction.

I'm looking forward to more from this series.

💙 What to Expect:
⚾ Daddy, Sir & Brat dynamic
⚾ Baseball romance (rival teams!)
⚾ Age gap
⚾ HEA
⚾ Spice

If you love poly romance with heat and heart, Stetson is a must-read! 😍

You know how sometimes you want a home run but the batter hits a sac fly instead… that’s how this felt for me. It was a good story but just didn’t feel right for me. The characters didn’t really seem developed throughout the story. I mean Stetson was a brat but what else do we know about him? Levi was as a sports agent who was a daddy but how old is he and what does he actually look like? Barrett was the only one that I felt we knew a little about but he was really only a “sir” in title. Also… at times it was a little too Levi-centric. Maybe it was just me.

I think maybe the book could’ve been longer. It seemed like everything just happened so fast or behind closed doors.

But I guess it’s only a 3 star for me because of the baseball references. Now… I am a huge baseball fan and I take it very seriously. I know this is a work of fiction but there were a lot of baseball related things that were just not accurate. Again, I know it’s a make believe world but baseball games don’t have a break where they go in the locker room. There’s other stuff to but that was one of the main things that distracted me.

Overall it was a good story but I just wanted to feel something more.

This is an establish couple to poly relationship romance, featuring Stetson, Barrett and Levi, and is book one in the Playing For Keeps series.

Rookie MLB star Stetson finds himself caught between two men - Levi, the sweet Daddy who claims him, and Barrett, the seasoned pro he can’t stop pushing on and off the field.

I dove into this one without knowing anything about it, I was a little surprised it was MMM but I rolled with the surprise. I loved how it was an established couple looking for their missing piece - such great communication. Stetson’s cocky rookie/brat energy, Levi’s nurturing Daddy vibes, and Barrett’s grumpy veteran determination made for such a fun, messy, and fast paced read. The chemistry between all three was sizzling and I loved their HEA.

Things to expect in this book are:
Book 1 in series
MMM sports romance
Baseball players x agent
Age gap
Established couple
Daddy x boy x Sir
MC in lingerie
Poly relationship
Spicy times
Dom / sub vibes
Edging & bondage
S*x toys & DP
Bit of drama
HEA

Wow, just wow! I haven't read Rae Simmons before this book. If they are as good as this one, I want to read all she has written. I fell in love with Levi, Barrett, and Stetson. The heat between all three of them is off the charts. Levi and Barrett are baseball players. Barrett has been playing for a decade, and he has grown so tired and plans to retire at the end of this year, but will he in the end? Stetson is at the beginning of his baseball career. Levi is an agent to fellow baseball players. Barrett and Levi have a past where Levi was his agent till a fellow player outed them, putting Levi as his agent at and end. It was either them putting a stop to their relationship or Levi stopping being Barrett's agent. I couldn't put this book down. This one if it was in print, I would save up and buy it; that's how good it is. Levi as a Daddy is friggen hot as hell. Barrett is hot himself being Stetson's Sir. This book hit all my buttons. I need more.

3.5 stars

This was a quick, fast paced book and page turner which made me give it a 3.5 instead of 3 stars. The relationship between the three of them moving way too quickly in my opinion but it is what it is. Even though not much happened in the book when it came to plot but whenever anything major happened I was here for it and thought it was resolved perfectly.

Since this book was written by one author and it Levi, Barrett and Stetson pov in each chapter separately, I was worry that all three characters would sounds the same which didn’t happen. I love that we can distinguish between all the three characters and didn’t feel like the same person.

I love how their relationship was written, how the three of them loved each other and accepted each other when it came to preference.

I definitely recommend this book to people who enjoys insta love storyline, and MMM romance with lots of spice.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I could not put this book down! It had me laughing and crying all the way through. Rae poured her heart and soul onto these pages, and it shows. The MMM couple was represented so lovingly and in a way that makes sense. I loved that it was not always the three of them and that they had individual couple time. Not since reading Cara Dee's The Game Series did, I believe in a polyamorous couple so much. However, Stetson will always be a special book for me due to reaction he had to his first introduction to Levi and Barrett together. Rae also had the perfect amount of spice to balance out the sweet!

***Please Be Aware of the following themes in this book. If you are not comfortable with any of these then this book is not for you.

Daddy/boy (no age play)
Brat
Dom/Sub
Exhibitionism
Praise Kink

If you’ve seen my reviews you’ve noticed I rarely give 5 stars unless the book has an extreme emotional element. However, that is not the case with this book. Rae Simmons wrote a beautifully cutesie instalove/lust story about a throuple who lives out and proud in the world of major league sports. This book has spice from the very beginning and oh goodness the spice is spicing something crazy deff a 4/5 even a 5 🌶️ depending on your sensibilities lol. This book is good, it’s light, it’s fun, and it pulled me out of a little reading slump from reading some good emotional reads like “That One Moment”. I loved every minute of this book because it was fun and exciting and sooo freaking hot. 🥵 everyone should have a Daddy Levi, a Bratty Stetson, and a sweet Sir Dom like Barrett in their life .

First of all, I’m a die hard Yankees fan. I grew up during the 90s, when we had the privilege of enjoying three World Series titles in five years. To say that this book had my hands sweating, my heart racing and my knees bouncing, it’s an understatement!

I felt like I was at that game with Stetson and Barrett. I felt their nerves and energy as if I was watching it live.

This might be Rae Simmons’s first sports book, but they nailed it! They were able to get a die hard fan like me to live this book to the max.

Stetson, Levi and Barrett were absolutely brilliant. It’s so hard to write a poly book where all three characters get the same amount of attention without taking away from the other. Their dynamic worked so well.

I truly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more of Rae’s work.

100% loved this book and I don't generally say that with MMM. This book features the trickier version of MMM (I think), which is where an established partnership seeks out a third because they often feel unbalance to me. However, the passion and love between the OG couple, Levi and Barrett, is undeniable as is their desire for a third to perfect what they have - I just melted throughout this book. I loved the baseball theme with both Barrett and Stetson being ball players, albeit at different places in their career with the former being on the verge of retirement and the latter a rookie....but both of them are seeking out glory! I loved the added tension of having them be on rival baseball teams, too! And since Levi is a sports agent (though not for either of them), everyone involved knows the intricacies of being with someone involved in pro sports. The spice in this book was so good and so well done! I truly felt the emotions in this triad just flowing to one another - tears!! Each MC fulfilled a particular need for the other two and the love and joy among them just feels so real. I read this with my besties and we all loved it. This is definitely an addition to my comfort rereads shelf.

Stetson, Levi & Barrett
I like the author's idea of the book being based in a society essentially free of homophobia and bigotry.
This was a fun MMM story done right. Each character had a strong personality that presented well through their POV. And it was easy and sweet to watch how all three fell in love through those perspectives. It's always an interesting challenge to have an established couple take on a third, but Levi & Barrett clearly had a well-communicated understanding about what they felt their relationship may or may not have been missing. Stetson joined into their fun so quickly. This story was full of steamy fun and lots of wonderfully tense--but not angsty--situations.
I loved the added challenge of the sports element, as putting & pushing the three men further into the spotlight really forced them to evaluate the importance of their relationship and its strength.

I loved reading Stetson and Rae Simmons' take on a popular theme with sports romance. I'm looking forward to how the series develops.

This was the first book by this author that I’ve read and I enjoyed it. Levi and Barrett have been in a relationship for years but both knew something, or someone, was missing then Levi met Stetson. This is a high heat book that I wished had more of an actual story. 🖤🔥⚾️🔥🖤

My favorite quote:

• Barrett: Stetson peered at me through his lashes, and I was a goner. I had been from day one, and I kicked myself for ever thinking I stood a chance, for not telling him the first chance I got. I thought I was doing this for Levi but this man had me hooked from the first word out of his bratty little mouth. He was soft and sweet when he needed to be, but a beast on the field, challenging me in ways I’d never been tested before.

Wowowowowow. I have been waiting for this book FOREVER. The second I saw it, I immediately added it to my tbr. This literally checked all my boxes. A rookie, an agent, and a league legend come together in a heart warming story about acceptance and change. The second I saw there was a daddy kink I knew I would love it, and boy oh boy did I ever. Levi was such a good daddy to Stetson. The rookie still getting his footing in the big leagues needed someone to reel him in and make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble. Levi did just that. Though I wish there was more rules, and more daddy-ness involved, I thought the roles were done very well. Barrett, fighting for his last World Series met his match in the form of a fireball rookie, Stetson. Once Barrett and Levi set their eyes on Stetson is was a strike out. They were both so enamored with the rookie and immediately knew he was what they were missing. I loved how easily everyone fell into the new dynamic. No one ever felt left out and that’s exactly how it should be. I loved hearing about Levi and Barrett’s relationship before Stetson. Their love was so strong, and now adding Stetson into the mix, somehow made it ever stronger. I enjoyed seeing their relationship being accepted into the mlb world. The love they shared for each other deserved to be shared with the world. I’m so happy they all got what they wanted. Thank u Rae for letting me review an ARC of this book! I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!!❤️

I instantly wanted to start this book over and read it again once I finished. I adored Levi, Barrett, and Stetson. Stetson is our hotshot rookie in his first year in the MLB. Levi, an agent for the sport, sees the rookie and thinks he just might be the third that he and Barrett have been seaeching for. Barrett is an older player on an opposing team, and he and Levi have been together and searching for a long time for the final piece of their puzzle. To top it off, one is a dom, and one is a daddy, and Stetson might just be the brat they need to claim and tame. I LOVED this one. Kinky, steamy, and super sweet, all rolled into one. I am already stoked for the next book.

MMM poly, baseball, sports, one sports agent, one rookie, age gap, one daddy/boy relationship

This did not drag things out, which I'm glad for (especially that small misunderstanding in the beginning). I loved that we got right down to Barrett, Levi, and Stetson trying to make their relationship work when 2 of them were on rival teams that traveled all over for games. The times they were apart, they still tied over with phone communication. And even though only Levi and Stetson had the daddy dynamics, Barrett fit right in as well, and all three of them were equal and I didn't feel like anyone was left out.

Can't wait for the next book!

There are so many beautiful, shout out with giddy joy moments that made this an absolute delight to read!

I love the idea behind this story. I was hooked from reading the blurb and once I started reading I didn’t put it down until I finished. I didn’t want it to end.

I absolutely loved the press release and the world series game starter. I could go on and on about scenes that I enjoyed but I don't want to give away any spoilers.

*MMM
*Age Gap - 40,32,23
*Baseball
*Rivals to lovers
*Daddy/Boy : no age play

Thank You for this wonderful story Rae!

This book was soooooooo cute! I absolutely loved this book and was super excited to read it. It was such a heart warming and touching story. There was something about the story that drew me in and I couldn’t put down. I thought the plot and characters were well written and had so much depth to them.

I really enjoyed the characters and the growth of their story. I loved how enamored Barrett and Levi were with Stetson and how well he fit in the dynamic. They each brought something to the table in the relationship.

Overall, this was a good story that I throughly enjoyed! I am looking forward to more by this author. I highly recommend this beauty if you love sports romance!

This was my first Rae Simmon’s book, and I understand that sports romance is not necessarily their usual thing, but I really enjoyed this story.
The dynamic of Stetson, Levi and Barrett’s relationship is just as complicated as it feels easy and organic and almost seamless.
Lots of very steamy moments, much teasing and a bit of disciplining sprinkled here and there, and this book was devoured in just a few hours!
Of course, it would keep two strong men to keep a force of nature like Stetson somehow in line and both Barrett and Levi are just the men for the work.

This book was the perfect combination of adorable and spicy ✨

Stetson being the brattiest brat ever but also trying his best. Levi was so sweet, always taking care of everyone. And Barrett, my man, he completed that throuple perfectly, he balanced the other two and was so so so perfect. I just want to hug them all 🫶🏼

Can’t wait for Maverick, he definitely made an impression!

Thanks to Rae Simmons for the ARC ✨
