Hi! I live in a big house in rural Australia with my awesome parents and siblings, drinking fancy tea and writing historical fantasy fiction that blends real-world history with legend, adventure, and a dash of romance.

If you like the historical fantasy of Gail Carriger, S. A. Chakraborty or Naomi Novik, you'll probably like my stories too!

Having long been a grateful beneficiary of the author’s wisdom and literary discernment through her blog, I knew I would love this book and I wasn’t disappointed. Each book analysis was profoundly helpful. Of the books that I already loved, it made me want to go back and dig in again with new respect and enthusiasm. Of the books that I hadn’t read, it left me eager to find and devour them. And best of all, of the books that I read and found confusing (like The Man Who Was Thursday) it made the muddle abundantly clear and understandable.
A wonderful book! I only wish I had a real copy, like with ink and paper. : )

A fantastic introduction to fiction for Christians. I've known the author for a long time, and it was a pleasure to see this one published.
Recommended particularly if you're asking the question "Should I read fiction?"

One of the very best books I've read on the benefits of good fiction, written from a God-centred worldview, for the Christian life.

An engaging and devotionally rich book that left me wanting to read/re-read a dozen more books with these insightful introductions in mind.
