When prolific serial killer Kinley Carr is executed after a lifetime of heinous crimes. the prison warden orders his remains cremated and dumped. However, a morgue attendant has a change of heart and Carr's ashes wind up being traded to a drug dealer to cut his cocaine with. Unfortunately, the mix "Killer Nose Candy" winds up giving more than a rush and soon, everyone who tries it goes on a spree of increasingly brutality.
This short novel is full of scenes of horror, death, gore, SA, brutality and terror. Reader discretion is extremely advised!
I tried pot twice. Just made my throat itchy and got me feeling a little fuzzy, but didn’t do much for me overall. I’ve never been in a position, nor would I consider, cocaine or anything harder than weed. Let alone cocaine mixed with the ashes of a notorious serial killer. So, you took a bunch of rowdy young folk, had them ingest this interesting blend and all hell broke loose. This was all while the cop who put the killer on death row was trying to figure it all out. The story reminded me a bit of the Treehouse of Horror when Homer used Snake’s hair, and it possessed him. Hilarious! The plot is fairly thin here, but the gore factor really made up for any shortcomings. And kudos from adding in some references to his other books, too. . Silly, violent, and well-written, this was another fun outing with Jerry Blaze.
Someone once told me that there was nothing like a Coke Party in the 80s (I had yet to be born), but nowadays it’s not worth it to even try- it’s cut with too many things that could kill you.
Well this story is just another reason that they’re right. “Killer Nose Candy” is mixed with the ashes of a sadist and prolific killer-Kinley Carr who was sent to the electric chair for his crimes.
“Nobody was gonna stop him from doing what he loved. Nobody.”
Now anyone that’s snorting this blend is getting a hankering for murder…
“The man’s family had been demolished and juiced into the tub, now, he was being forced to drown in the collection of foul, putrid liquids.”
Damn Jerry! This one was especially heinous as nothing is off limits to Carr and his “possessed”. I just kept expecting the bar to be reached and then a character does something that raises it and shocks me again. A wild, drug fueled, insane, supernatural story.
I would’ve liked to see more of Carr’s sprees during his actual lifetime. He’s such a mean bastard, I’m sure his childhood was just as messed up as Peter said it likely was.
“The man didn’t kill for money or gain or anything like that. He killed because it was fun. It was a pleasure to cause ungodly amounts of torment on everyone he could.”
Fucking Hell...This isn't a book to be "Sniffed or Snorted" at...to be honest it's a shockingly wicked depraved piece of sickening stuff.
If you're stupid enough to use nose candy that's been cut with the ashes from some sick psycho serial killer who's just been fried in the electric chair⚡⚡⚡then don't expect anything less than sheer chaos, blood, guts and a lot more gore than you can possibly stomach.
The story line in this book was so clever and it was written exceptionally well too.
I couldn't have guessed the ending in a million years!! 😲
Jerry never fails to amaze me with his creativity. Killer Nose Candy packs one hell of a punch!
When a serial killer finally meets his death sentence, later on his ashes find their way into a dealers cocaine stash. Kinley Karr didn’t lie when he said the world wouldn’t be truly rid of him forever. 😳👃💨⚱️
Killer Nose Candy will be released on October 21st, 2024.
What can I say besides this is a killer debut short novel! Jerry Blaze outdid himself again! This was about a murderer on death row who gets executed. Instead of getting buried he gets cremated. One of the guys who does the cremation takes the ashes to his drug person who then adds the killer's ashes to some nose candy. When people start to use the nose candy a few minutes after taking it they become the dead killer. The killings and the going on is definitely extreme horror.
This short novel is full of scenes of horror, death, gore, SA, brutality and terror. Reader discretion is extremely advised!
Just loved this wonderfully gruesome piece of depraved, extreme horror proving that it may just be possible for sadistic serial killers to still 'live' on and commit more heinous atrocities even after their human form has left this plane of existence.
Violence, blood, torture, mutilation, death and explicit sex, all perfectly blended together with a heap load of cursed ashy-coke to rapidly bring to the boil.
Now just add the foulest human being that may ever have existed and let the party begin. Enjoy!
Highly recommended to horror fans who want to try hitting on something just a little on the hard side of pure frenzied insanity.
Will definitely be reading more from JB - a highly talented storyteller that undoubtedly crafts his dark work to perfection.
Rating: 4.7 ragingly hot stars that have been set well and truly...'A-Blaze!'
Jerry Blaze's debut novel was great fun to read, a genuinely enjoyable, super-pulpy read of supernatural mayhem and relentless carnage! Its premise is delightfully creepy: cutting your cocaine with a serial killer's ashes and snorting it, allows the spirit of the serial killer to possess you - and continue his murder spree, torturing everyone in his path in the most horrific of ways. (This drug thing often becomes a recipe of disaster in Blaze's hands- he himself refers to his own "Flakka Ferret Frenzy!")
The aspect I found quite funny was the implications about sexual possibilities: if you think about it, two people snorting the drug and getting possessed by the same spirit, does make for some kinky kind of sex between two versions of the spirit (let alone what might happen when more people taste the drug!). Blaze has no problem accepting this, and offers some hilarious sex scenes in the second part of hs novel. Although I'd have liked to see more exploration of this theme (the idea has great potential!), the book ends rather quickly, celebrating pain in a typical Blaze finish, totally pessimistic and, well, horrible! Recommended for extreme horror fans and those who want a pulpy introduction to the genre!
You ever wonder what would happen if you mixed a serial killers ashes with coke and snorted it?
Well if you read this you'll find out. Kinley Carr was a notorious serial killer. Known for his truly disgusting murders and cannibalism. To make some coke spread, a dealer mixes his ashes in and what ensues is pure carnage!!! I always love Jerry's work, he truly outdid himself with this one!
WTF did I just read?! I know he sold more than to just those few folks in the club, tell me who everyone else killed! What a disgusting book, I couldn't put it down.
This was my introduction into Jerry Blazes's depraved mind and HOLY SHIT, what a ride. Patrick Bateman meets Jigsaw meets Otis Driftwood.
This story quickly throws you into the depravity of serial killer, Kinley Carr, reliving his final kill before finally meeting his own demise when he is executed. Carr's body is cremated instead of being buried and ends up being cut with coke and being sold to multiple unsuspecting "adoptees."
From Kinley's depraved memories and death to his unhinged transformation into some deadly booger sugar, Jerry will violently throw you into a jaw dropping club massacre before inflicting some gag inducing severed arm satisfaction and organ rearranging that will leave you wanting to bleach your brain.
This is definitely one of Jerry’s most extreme stories yet and I am f***ing here for it! This story packs a serious punch right from the very start and makes it impossible to put down until you reach the end. You’ll find yourself grimacing in disgust one moment and then giggling like a loon in the next. It’s a fantastic read for fans of extreme horror!
Author Jerry Blaze was kind enough to send an ARC of his latest splatterpunk story. In a slim, quick page turner you get your fill of guts, gore and chaos in quite the funny premise of serial killer's ashes cut into pure cocaine released amid the masses. funny, gruesome and quite thrilling. Every bit of gag-inducing chaos imagined indeed makes its way into this filthy little tale. Can a hard nosed cop once again take down the psycho who shares more than one body primed for destructive insanity?
A fantastic novel by Jerry Blaze about a serial killer Kinley Carr, who is sentenced to death in the electric chair after some horrific crimes, his body is cremated and the ashes stolen by a warden end up mixed with drugs that turn the users into killers haunted by the Kinley Carr. Lots of gore in this extreme horror novel 🔪
Another brilliant book by Jerry! Story is don’t do drugs kids! A prolific mass murderer is given the electric chair and cremated. His ashes end up in cocaine. Read to find out how! Each participant who does any of this ends up acting EXACTLY like the killer. It ends on such a cliffhanger and I’m dying to know what happens next
Killer nose candy is pretty excellent. Jerry did an amazing job with the story and characters and even throwing in a reference to one of his other books. I can’t wait to see where this goes!
I must say, the going in to this book, based on the synopsis I was a bit hesitant. I should have known better than to doubt Mr.Blaze. This book is fun, fast paced, brutal as all get out. Boy does than man have an imagination on him. I 100% loved this book, he really made this bonkers idea into something completely radical. Highly recommend.
An original take, and a brutal one, combining a serial killer with possession/drugs. Jerry Blaze does not hold back on the violence or depravity. If you are into Extreme or Splatterpunk, you may really enjoy it. If you have any triggers, no matter what they are, he probably has it in here :)
The premise of the story was interesting and reminded me of Child’s Play but instead of the serial killer entering a doll, his ashes get mixed with cocaine. The story was fast paced and entertaining but the book could have used a bit more editing and less use of the word cackle/cackled/cackling. Overall, it was a good little book and I’ll def check out more by this author.
If you like over the top, gory as shit, fun as fuck slasher horror, you'll dig this. Felt slightly like if the base concept of Jason Goes To Hell was done correctly...mixed with a lot of human ashes mixed with coke.
It was when he looked into the darkness of Kinley’s eyes did he realize that there was no humanity in the man. He looked like a human, but he was nothing like an actual human, they didn’t even have a word in psychiatry for what he was.
A truly sadistic serial killer has finally been captured and is facing the electric chair for his crimes against humanity. A sick man who spent the past several decades abducting and torturing innocent people, he would eventually face his crimes and would receive his death sentence with a smile still on his lips. Taunting his victims and goading their surviving families, nothing was too taboo or too far for him to go. From submerging still living people into dissolving acids, to decapitation and cannibalism, Kinley Carr was a real monster in human flesh. Lieutenant Peter Abner was present as the man fried and placed the orders to immediately create the body and toss the ashes in the garbage. Unfortunately, one of the morgue technicians had an idea that left the ashes in the hands of a known drug dealer (James Quick) and would place the ashes mixed into a kilo of cocaine. Selling the baggies at the nightclub Club Minxx, several people would consume the tampered drugs and all Hell would break loose. Sophie Jones, Chelsie Scott and Brock would be the ones to take the first hit and infect their bodies with the spirit of Kinley Carr and allow for his murders to continue to spread.
“He was a masterclass at being evil.”
With the death tolls rising higher and higher, the violence and depravity were reaching record highs and nobody was immune from the suffering. Combining deep sexual arousal into the deaths, the trio was a dangerous combination as nobody could stop what was set into motion. While everyone tried to pass blame into a copycat killer, only Peter Abner understood that true evil like that couldn't be replicated, and as he stood eye to eye with Chelsie, he saw clearly the monster that lurked in that innocent girl's mind. Barely managing to escape his own horrific death he lemaded with his fellow officers from his hospital room to remove any ashes still left to be mixed, and screamed for them to abort any babies Chelsie or Sophie fell pregnant with. While Chelsie rotted away at a mental institution, he was left defenseless to Sophie's whereabouts as she continues her murder spree deep in the woods. As she carried the baby in her womb, she knew it was only a matter of months before the evil would be birthed and continue on the legacy.
The man didn’t kill for money or gain or anything like that. He killed because it was fun. It was a pleasure to cause ungodly amounts of torment on everyone he could. He didn’t care if it caused undue amounts of pain for the family, he’d just kill them, too. He wanted to watch people squirm and submit to him, he wanted them to bleed out while he pleasured himself, he wanted to see people beg for death until their throats ran raw. He did everything he could to his victims; drowned them, beat them, cut them up, used power tools, used regular tools, used knives, axes, hammers, rocks, chains, anything he had handy. He’d killed his first person at eight and never stopped, he was the first and only monster Peter had ever met in his life.
I love Jerry Blaze, even his name sounds bad ass. So of course I had to read, killer nose candy. I loved the book as soon as I read the book blurb, not to mention being a huge Jerry Blaze fan may make me bias. Alright so let’s get into it, here is the book blurb that hooked me.
When prolific serial killer Kinley Carr is executed after a lifetime of heinous crimes. the prison warden orders his remains cremated and dumped. However, a morgue attendant has a change of heart and Carr's ashes wind up being traded to a drug dealer to cut his cocaine with. Who hasn’t joked about snorting someone’s ashes, okay maybe normal people but let’s be real, they AIN’T reading this book anyway. I know I know as I tell my son ‘ain’t’ ain’t a word, but it feels good here. I mean if my hubs passed, I may just do it so that he could be all up in me just one more time. Hehe Back to my point, sucking someone’s ashes up the old smeller is obviously taboo, never heard of but like I said there’s always that “what if?” In Killer Nose Candy, Jerry Blaze has the answer and it ‘ain’t purty’. This book is for anyone who is a fan of splatter and extreme horror, I found it to be down right sick and twisted to perfection. I love the character development and how it goes from one to the other and back with perfection. If there is one person who can deliver a compelling story line along with the splatter it’s Jerry! *Chef’s Kiss* Read this shit NOW!!!
Holy god damn, this book was incredible; this is Mr Blaze's first novel and it's a freaking smash!! I adored the storyline it was so engrossing and kept moving at a solid pace, the whole cast of characters is great loved and hated em. The whole story was fantastic, but I have to say it got even better in the last couple of chapters, and that ending has left me needing more. This is now my favourite story by Jerry Blaze. Solid 5/5 for me
The author Jerry Blaze never ceases to amaze me with his stories. This time we have one of the most sadistic serial killers the US has ever seen in Kinley Carr. The long arm of the law finally catches up to him, but is that the end when he's executed? He promises the world isn't rid of him, and when his ashes get mixed into a dealers drugs, all hell ensues. A phenomenal story that begs for a prequel.
This book was such a wild ride! If you haven't read a Jerry Blaze book, I would say this is a good book to start with. It has loads of slasher scenes, sex, gore, and utter brutality/carnage! From the very moment I started reading the book, I knew I wouldn't be able to put it down. I would say it's perfect for the season of October!
If you like books with a lot of gore (think '80s slasher films), this book is definitely for you!
Killer Nose Candy is in a genre of extreme horror known for excessive violence, brutality, gore, and sexual abuse. As an entry into this genre, Killer Nose Candy hits the bullseye.
The murders and assaults are gratuitous and overtly sexual. The storyline is utterly insane. And, if extreme horror is your cup of tea, this crime thriller murder rampage revenge torture porn book is perfect for you.
Know what you’re getting before you pick this up. It’s certainly not for the light hearted.
Definitely was not what I was expecting, but that's a good thing. I couldn't stop reading, had to find out what was going to happen next. Just wish it was longer because I wanted more. Does that make me sick?
Damn! This is the biggest Blaze book I've read yet!
A horrible murderer gets cremated and through a series of comical events, his ashes get turned into drugs. Then like some horrific blast from the past, dude starts possessing everyone who snorts his remains and turns them into total psycho monsters.
