There was a lot of shock for shocks value, not enough detail to build the scene together. I had no trust in their bond except for the words telling me to believe it. It felt like a lot of tropes and kinks thrown in there that it was messy to read.

I hated this book more than words can describe. Literally no plot. Just a bunch of mentally ill dudes chasing after a girl. So you mean to tell me you were drugged at a party, taken home by 3 guys and then accept your fate and rail them all the second your eyes open after knowing they toyed with you while you were drugged? BYE 🤚🏻 This was stupid.

Lorne Miller is tasked with keeping an eye on his soon-to-be stepsister, Noelle White. What starts as a job on behalf of Edward White, a Syndicate leader, quickly becomes an obsession. And not just for Lorne, but his “brothers,” Caspian and Declan as well.
Seeing the grip each man’s tragic past had on him was heartbreaking. Declan, in particular, suffered unspeakable trauma and had a difficult time living in the present. Noelle was able to seamlessly fit into their lives and balance their darkness with her light.
That said, the progression of their relationship went well beyond instalove. To be clear, I have no issue with instalove. However, the pacing felt very rushed with very little development. I’m really waffling on my rating because this was frustrating, but their story held my attention and was enjoyable in other aspects. So, this one benefits from my round up.

Not a single scrap of dialogue made sense to me in this book. They were giving whole religious sermons in the middle of sex that had me confused and absolutely terrified.

The spicy scenes were really hard for me to follow along with. There's a lot of moving pieces since there was...four or five of them? But I had a really hard time keeping track of what everyone was doing and saying. At some point, it just turned into a dark room of men yelling things like: CUM IN MY MOUTH AND THEN REPENT, SLUT or JESUS WOULD WANT YOU TO GAG ON THIS DICK YOU DIRTY LITTLE RACCOON.
It terrified me honestly 😂

There’s not a whole lot to this book it’s a novella of decent length and is a dark and dirty contemporary retelling of Snow White. It’s also reverse harem and comes with a massive list of triggers. On paper this definitely should have been right up my street but unfortunately there was absolutely zero plot and I didn’t feel any connection to any of the characters involved.
It wasn’t the content here that was the issue that I had no problem with and this definitely had some dark depraved stuff but I just felt like it was mostly there for the shock value.
Also I know this is fiction so i do hold it to a different standard and try to suspend my disbelief but Noelle’s behaviour was just so unrealistic and didn’t make a lick of sense to me. She basically awakens restrained and naked and she’s all gung-ho about these three total psycho’s who are practically strangers railing her into the middle of next week.
All of the religious scripture was also doing my nut in and I’d basically had enough I wasn’t enjoying myself and I was over half way through so I couldn’t see that changing so this one’s unfortunately going to be a DNF. If you do want to give it a go be aware it’s a total smutfest.

Fue mucho sexo y blah blah blah. Todos los personajes tienen un aura oscura y la chica es una luz inocente, pero para ser sincera no creo que aquí entre el instalove cuando tienes que aceptar quedarte con tres tipos que están bastante jodidos. En general es una historia entretenida, me hubiese gustado que profundizaran más en cada historia en vez de ponerla a ella como un Ángel Salvador que los une a todos.
Definitivamente no lo consideraría como un retelling, no vi suficientes elementos.
¿La recomiendo? Pues si, supongo que para la gente que le gusta el sexo torcido está bien. Porque eso es lo que más hay en este libro: Sexo y más sexo.

Unfortunately this author is now an immediate DNR for me.
Objectively terrible. If I could give 0.09 star I would. The writing is awful and characters are wildly underdeveloped.
The story is all over the place, occasionally feigning depth and darkness with unbearable pretense. I just…no, immediately no.
Don’t read this without taking the TWs into consideration and/or if you want to read a well developed story.
Do read this if you like horror erotica, violent erotica, and/or want to rip your hair out in frustration for what could’ve been a good story but ultimately fell about a mile short.

That was a lot. Hot as hell but a lot lol.
Make sure you read the TW/CW. The main one I think may be a lot for people is the self harm & religious trauma.
Aside from that.. seriously.. the spicy scenes were 🔥 lots of fluids lol

Let’s point out the only thing I semi-liked of this book.
Declan and his struggle with religion. I feel like his storyline was the most decent. And the author did ok with his kinks. Adding in the scripture was a nice touch.
Anyways, this book is dark, and DOES NOT represent these kinks well, and is not dark romance. It’s just one long porn scene gone wrong in so many ways.

No es tan malo como para dejarlo como DNF, pero en definitiva no es bueno.
Tiene muchos aspectos que considero complicados y, aunque el sexo como tal no me molesta y comparto muchos kinks, lo que lo hizo un poco más disfrutable, siento que no es claro el cómo se desarrolla. Quizás es una cuestión con la cantidad de narradores y que, fuera de sus traumas, no hay una voz que los diferencie. Quiero decir, sabía que Declan estaba en pantalla porque se la pasaba rezando, jajaja, era lo único que sentía que le diferenciaba, porque, a la larga, sabemos tan poco de ellos que no hay forma de hacerse mejores ideas sobre sus personalidades, ambiciones, aspiraciones, ningún aspecto de lo que les forma en la actualidad.
Y ese es en realidad el problema que tengo con la historia. Que no se teman el tiempo para desarrollar absolutamente nada.
Es sexo.
La autora pretende decir que hay una conexión espiritual ahí debajo, pero solo se demuestra con palabras, nunca acciones. Una sencilla forma de arreglar esto hubiera sido mostrar cómo se comportaban ellos con Noelle y viceversa fuera del sexo.
Además, todos estos traumas son tratados como si pudieran desaparecer por el amor de una mujer. O no desaparecer, porque siguen estando allí, pero sí como si ella fuera la salvación, lo único puro y casto. Y, en realidad, no hay diferencia entre ella y ninguna otra mujer. Se obsesionan con ella solo viéndola y de repente ella es sol, sin haber hecho nada más que respirar. Ah.

DNF 53%
MY FIRST DNF OF THE YEAR. WOW.
This shit up until 53% was TERRIBLE. I can only imagine how much worse it’s gonna get.
The writing? Terrible. The dialogue was so cringe it was dnf-able way before 53%.
The plot? Nonexistent.
The first chapters open with the MMCs watching the FMC and being obsessed and not even talking to the woman. And then storming up to her when she is seen talking to a man and going all possessive on her..LIKE YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HER. PUH LEASE.
The FMC’s weight is so heavily focused on it felt very unnecessary.
The FMC is seemingly drugged at a party and the guys find her and one of them takes care of the offender while the other two stay behind. And the two that stay behind fuck while one eats the girl out (who is unconscious - now there was a TW for somno but this seems borderline non con which is all fine and dandy if it was properly listed in the triggers) and then the one mmc finishes on her 🐱 and they clean up the mess. I reiterate they barely know the girl.
And now the fmc wakes up naked, bound, tape over her mouth with one of the mmcs finishing on her face. And the other two going at it? Idk that was unclear. The two leave and leaves Lorne and her to have a conversation about their obsession with her. And she’s like OKAY. Like ??? That doesn’t make any sense. She’s only been with one guy and the author puts so much unnecessary emphasis on how she’s the good girl and doesn’t do anything like this. So it doesn’t make sense for her to be so willing.
And then they explain their kinks and one of them is blood play and she’s all about it? It’s turning her on?? I’m sorry but just how in the hell does that make any bit of logical sense ??? It’s never written that she’s into the darker stuff so the fact that she’s the good girl and been with one guy doesn’t track with her being so turned on by the darker stuff with no rhyme or reason. Like she doesn’t even question why that’s making her hot and bothered.
Also not to mention one of the mmcs loses it and fuxks her hard and the first thought she has and I quote “he’s an anaconda or a shapeshifting horse”. WHO WRITES LIKE THIS?? I’m sorry but people who write like this deserve JAIL TIME.

MY FIRST DNF OF THE YEAR. WOW.
This shit up until 53% was TERRIBLE. I can only imagine how much worse it’s gonna get.
The writing? Terrible. The dialogue was so cringe it was dnf-able way before 53%.
The plot? Nonexistent.
The first chapters open with the MMCs watching the FMC and being obsessed and not even talking to the woman. And then storming up to her when she is seen talking to a man and going all possessive on her..LIKE YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HER. PUH LEASE.
The FMC’s weight is so heavily focused on it felt very unnecessary.
The FMC is seemingly drugged at a party and the guys find her and one of them takes care of the offender while the other two stay behind. And the two that stay behind fuck while one eats the girl out (who is unconscious - now there was a TW for somno but this seems borderline non con which is all fine and dandy if it was properly listed in the triggers) and then the one mmc finishes on her 🐱 and they clean up the mess. I reiterate they barely know the girl.
And now the fmc wakes up naked, bound, tape over her mouth with one of the mmcs finishing on her face. And the other two going at it? Idk that was unclear. The two leave and leaves Lorne and her to have a conversation about their obsession with her. And she’s like OKAY. Like ??? That doesn’t make any sense. She’s only been with one guy and the author puts so much unnecessary emphasis on how she’s the good girl and doesn’t do anything like this. So it doesn’t make sense for her to be so willing.
And then they explain their kinks and one of them is blood play and she’s all about it? It’s turning her on?? I’m sorry but just how in the hell does that make any bit of logical sense ??? It’s never written that she’s into the darker stuff so the fact that she’s the good girl and been with one guy doesn’t track with her being so turned on by the darker stuff with no rhyme or reason. Like she doesn’t even question why that’s making her hot and bothered.
Also not to mention one of the mmcs loses it and fuxks her hard and the first thought she has and I quote “he’s an anaconda or a shapeshifting horse”. WHO WRITES LIKE THIS?? I’m sorry but people who write like this deserve JAIL TIME.

this is definitely a very dark romance, so if you're not into that, dont read it! Also you should know that there are multiple somnophilia scenes, which isnt mentioned in the trigger warnings.
The book is mainly smut and barely any plot, which I personally dont have a problem with, but the existing plot was so bad and full of holes.
Additionally, i just don't get how a girl whos existing experience in sex is pretty bad and therefore doesnt see the appeal in it would randomly agree to be the sex toy of three guys she barely knows.
I still might've given it 3 stars if it werent for the amount of times "fuck" of "fucking" were used over the book, it was just so annoying at some point.

There's no actual story here, it's more or less just smut with some majorly fucked up characters and the shit they're into.

I’m gonna say this book was just full of spice, MM, MF, MMMF, MMM, you name it they tried it 🤣 All the MMCs have suffered from abuse in their childhoods which affects their ability to have a serious relationship with a female, that is until Noelle, aka Snow, Sunshine and Little Eve yep! Each has a nickname for her. They kidnap her, each guy giving her a little of themselves until she runs away. She manages three months without them but when they find her, she has missed them too. Tbh I struggled to find any similarities to Snow White 🤷🏻♀️

This is the first Mila Crawford book I have ever read and holy Batman was there a lot of spice in this book!! I love a good mmmf book and I very much enjoyed reading this book! It was well written and it had a lot of spice to keep the story going!! I would definitely recommend this book especially if you are looking for a lot of spice and good mmmf book!

2.5 stars. This was so chaotic with really no back story. IMO, if there had been a short Prologue of some sort or smething to explain the relationship between the males, that would have helped me.

Thissss is amazing. These dark retellings are erotica but with a soul. Idk how that happens. I connected so much to the characters. I felt sooo slumpy afterwards. It is a dark why choose with MM so if that isn’t for you… it’s truly your loss bc this book is ahhhmazing. Read the triggers please. It gets deep and dark in this one.
