In the follow up to “Chasing the Wild Sparks,” Hadley Beckett’s quest for wedded bliss perseveres…

What would you do if the love of your life were closer to making your dreams come true?

Riding high in her relationship with her sportscaster/local daredevil boyfriend, Finn Wilder, Hadley Beckett makes plans concerning her future with Finn. Big plans.

Spending time with Finn at his parents’ house for Easter, Hadley can’t wait to share some of her ideas with him, hoping he will go along. She knows she has an uphill climb ahead of her, but she’s optimistic that after what they recently went through, Finn will be receptive to what she has to say.

Infamously anti-marriage, Finn promised Hadley he’d consider taking her to the altar if she gives him more time. Diving headfirst and with encouragement from her best friend Morgan, Hadley devises a backup plan if Finn can’t make a decision soon. However, her other close friend, Rod, disagrees with Morgan’s advice, partly to just oppose her in spite, but also having actual valid points of his own. Feeling conflicted, Hadley takes both of their suggestions and blends them together, formulating her own way to handle Finn.

On the other hand, unbeknownst to Hadley, Finn has plans of his own as well.

Hadley is determined to succeed, yet is she unwittingly destined to fail?

I love this story and I can't wait for the third book to come out! The story continues with Finn and Hadley (Becks) and their struggle to each have what they want in a relationship and in life. Does one give while the other takes? How should they decide who gives up their convictions? What happens to the couple if it feels all one-sided? This is so true to live in so many aspects and Ren Alexander does a terrific job of making you feel each character's love, angst, hurt and anger.
Each supporting character adds their own flavor and makes the story even more real. So real it's heartbreaking and heartwarming! You won't be sorry you gave this series a try - it is a great read!

*Don’t read if you haven’t read book one.*

Where do I start on this one, first of all holy book hangover batman!! I love Hadley and Finn and I was very excited to continue to read this story. Finn and Hadley are still very much in love, but Finn’s idea of commitment is far from Hadley’s. Hadley is still looking for marriage, and after another fall out in his own family, Finn is still very much opposed. As a girl, you want to tell Hadley that she needs to let Finn go and move on. If he doesn’t want to get married, what makes you think he will change? However at the same time you can see how much Hadley is in love with Finn. Finn has a secret in this book and I am still looking back at chapters trying to figure out what it is! Don’t think this will be the end of these two; you will have to wait for the third book to find out what happens. This book will deliver some super hot scenes, lots of laughs from Morgan and Rod, and a sweet story.

There is lots of back and forth drama over commitment in this book, so if it bugged you in the first, it will bother you even more in this one. However, if you made it through the first one and enjoyed it as much as I did, you will want to start this immediately. It’s a definite page turner that I couldn’t put down and I would recommend it to all of my friends. I am still blown away that this series is the author’s debut! These are great books that captivate the reader and prove to be a fun and hot story! I would like to thank Ren Alexander for the chance to read and review her book and I can’t wait for the next one! Go chase the sparks kids and grab this one now!

A cliffhanger, I am ruined! Ren Alexander has done it again and hit another one right out of the park and into the next atmosphere, but she has nearly devastated me in the process. There is far more conflict in this installment of her series and the up and down has nearly wrecked me, which is just further proof of Ms. Alexander's adroit writing skills. She handily sucks me right into the story with emotive and evocative details. After a 3 year relationship, this couple seems to be having a really bad month... in which they take one step forward and two steps back, but it has been so very entertaining for me to watch the process. As with her first offering, skillfully written with humor and tenderness, you feel their frustration and despair, as well as the depth of their feelings for each other, and still oh so deliciously steamy... At one point, my husband tapped me on the arm and said I was making humming noises while I was reading. Hmm, I think I was probably purring.

I loved the story for quite a few reasons. 1) Rod and Morgan are absolutely hysterical. I can not tell you how awesome the witty banter back and forth was! 2) Finn and Hadley aka "Becks" - those two drive me absolutely insane! Seriously after 3 years either get it together or move on. 3) Rick and Simone - I hate to speculate, but I really enjoyed reading about those two interacting the way they did....Kept me wondering for sure.
Overall, I think it was a wonderful story. I certainly hope to see Hadley and Finn make some serious decisions besides this crazy emotional rollercoaster!

Hadley Beckett and Finn Wilder are back and at it again. Ms. Alexander does not disappoint with the latest installment of our favorite fighting, loving and laughing couple. She just keeps getting better and the characters develop into real people with hilarious personalities before your eyes.
There is so much pressure for a Forever between the two lovers from family, friends and each other trying to push them to make a decision. Who will give in first, Finn or Hadley?
Finn performs an outrageous stunt for his TV News segment “The Wilder Side”, after Hadley dares him to show her how much he loves her. It says true love like nothing else ever could.
Nevertheless, you know what Hadley really wants, a marriage and a baby with Finn. They fuss and make up so many times over this is it will make you dizzy. Finn just wants her to live with him, he says it’s still a commitment and he needs her beside him. However, Finn Wilder has a secret, which he never tells Hadley unless she is asleep. As a reader, we are let in on his biggest secret! (Not spoiling it for you!)

“Yes. You are my home. That’s why I want you living with me. The only time I feel like I’m truly home is when I’m with you. It doesn’t even matter where we are.” He looks up at the lighthouse, squinting again. “This is home with you by my side.”
~Finn explaining why he wants Hadley to live with him so badly

During Easter Mass, Hadley has some major epiphanies. Some good, like finding a nickname for Finn. Some not so good, feeling like she is not good enough for him due to her spirituality or lack of religion.
As the first time they are together in a church so many issues come to light for Hadley. Just not the ones Finn thinks she has upset her.

“Sparks?”
I nod, but don’t elaborate. The flaming wick spitting fire reminded me of the feelings he kindled in my heart when we first met. Finn is like a roaring wildfire that has engulfed my life, but he’s also those small, unassuming, yet rebellious, sparks hat set my world ablaze in the first place.
~Hadley’s nickname for Finn explained

After the emotional roller coaster of Easter Weekend is behind the couple, you hope they move forward with their plans. Well you would be wrong. They are still the hardheaded people they were in book one. Although he has begun introducing her as his girlfriend and even acknowledged her on air is a step in the right direction. Three years hiding his private life causes some eyebrows to rise.
You may want to reach into the pages and shake both of them before the end of the book, especially when Finn begins talking to a female co-worker with his side of the latest argument.
Through his eyes, it seems like a limited insight that would give people the impression that Hadley is not concerned with his feelings and needs. This garners unwanted attention from the flirtatious co-worker, red flags goes up for Finn and he gets out of the situation. As a reader, you will be so mad at him for even opening up to this relationship vampire.
Meanwhile, Hadley is taking time to decide what she can actually give up for Finn and is she ready to do so just to be with him forever. All of this pressure and little sleep make her a very cranky girl.

“No, I’m not ragging it. When I am, you will be the first to know.” Right after I tell my terrified boyfriend, so he can throw a party to celebrate my bleeding. I wonder what kind of party favors he’d get for a party like that. Maxi pads and Midol?
~Hadley yelling at Rod when he accuses her of being grouchy due to that time of the month

With Hadley’s state of mind she asks Rod what he thinks is attractive about their office’s siren.

“I don’t know Women like her remind me of Christmas lights. They’re pretty to look at, even fun to twist into different configurations above your bed, but they’re a b*%ch to drag out of the house and a pain in the a** to get rid of. Plus, once the novelty of Christmas wears off, they’re passé. You want them out of your sight.”
~Rod explaining to Hadley his theory on high maintenance women like their co-worker Shasta

Will these two ever work out their issues? Do they know what compromise even means? Moreover, for a man who is so Catholic he is breaking all of his churches covenants, why?
Again, you and I both will be waiting with baited breath for the next installment of this WILD saga!

I found myself NEEDING to pick up Daring The Wild Sparks after finishing Chasing The Wild sparks. Ren Alexander is able to provide well written scenes that is able to move me as a reader, enabling me to feel like I was part of their gang. With the capability to feel the emotions and thoughts of Hadley & Finn.

Daring is written over the duration of Becks (Hadley) & Finn spending Easter at his parent house. Becks is very much welcomed in Finn’s family, so much that they already see her as a daughter/sister. They ensure Hadley throughout the visit that she will never be viewed any different regardless of Finn’s refusal to marry.

Becks undeniable love for Finn is one that can be appreciated by anyone, the public loves Finn to pieces but she will always be his biggest Finnatic. Needing Beck to prove Finn’s devotion to her she Dares him to prove to her his love. hoping that what he comes up with will be more substantial than the “boyfriend/girlfriend” status.

Finn takes her dare and proves his actions on live television. Becks than decides to meet part way and tells Finn that she will move in with him. She battles with if moving in with Finn will discourage her dream of marriage and babies, two things that Finn has already said he doesn’t have planned….EVER. Fighting with her dreams of marriage and babies, her love for Finn is overwhelming enough that she hopes time will allow her to bury her personal wants in life.

Finn is wanting to propose to Becks that you can almost taste it! His profound love for Becks is unexplainable but he knows there will never be anyone else for her. Becks is his breath of life and would not be able to survive without her. He has a fear that marriage will become a disaster to his relationship but is considering the exception to the rule, the rule that he has created, where all marriages will break relationships. He’s see in first hand with his dad, best friend, and the bomb of his mom now divorcing his step-dad has almost set the deal in stone. Marriage = Broken Relationships

Over this period of time they continue to struggle with giving into each other but individually feel that they are giving all of themselves while the other isn’t giving into the relationship as much as the other. They struggle with decisions that affect their relationship, with the threat that the other will get tired of giving in all the time to the other persons wants. Their love for one another is undeniable and nothing will separate them from each other, neither is secure in their relationship. There is a lot of emotions involved which create you to immerse yourself into the book and characters. After finishing Daring, I can’t help but anxiously wait for Ignite!

In Daring The Wild Sparks, we can see the depth of each other's love. But we also see that Hadley and Finn feel inferior to the other that they doubt what the other one truly feels. It is true with relationships of those we know in our lives. People have internal struggles along with outside conditions that make them not truly trust the feelings their partner has for them and even doubt what they feel for the other.

Both Hadley and Finn want the same thing to be soul mates forever. They both often tell the other how they feel but they are both coming from different ideas of the future that puts stumbling blocks in the way. Hadley continues to want to be with Finn, the love of her life but she believes in marriage first then living together as husband and wife. She also desperately wants to have children with Finn. Finn wants to marry(secretly) Hadley but with his experiences with others' marriages he does not want to end up losing Hadley to a divorce. He feels that marriage is a love killer. He does not want to have children. He just wants to have her move in with him and they live together for the rest of their lives.

Reading their story we can feel for both characters and why they feel as they do. You can empathize with both of them but someone is going to have to give into the others idea of their future together or there won't be a happy ending. Life does not always give you happy endings but relationships are a give and take. Compromises have to be made and outside influences need to keep their opinions to themselves for this couple to survive this constant struggle.

Both of them have friends and family that are their to support them and love them through these up and downs. I can't wait to read the next book to see if the two of them can come to a mutual agreement and not destroy themselves in the end.

I would recommend this book because the story is realistic and discusses issues that many go through in their own lives. But first one must read Chasing The Wild Sparks.

I don’t even know where to start… I freaking love this series! Daring the Wild Sparks is book 2 of the series, it picks up exactly where Chasing the Wild Sparks leaves off, so if you have not read the first one, stop right now and go One-Click it. Seriously… why are you still here?

Finn is still being the stubborn jack-ass that he is. Ok, that may have been a little tough on him. Finn is still the ever loving boyfriend we all fell in love with, doing everything he can think of to prove his love and commitment to Hadley. Well, everything except proposing to her…

Becks is struggling with what she wants verse what she is willing to let go of in order to keep her relationship strong and keep Finn happy. Can she except that she will never marry her soulmate, never carry his children, is their love for each other truly enough?

Throughout this book, we are once again brought into deep raw emotions between these two. Many times I want to hit both of them! Sometimes I would be yelling at Hadley, is this argument really worth loosing him? He loves you dammit! The next second I'm cursing out Finn for being so damn stubborn! Some of the cocky comments out of his mouth send my heart racing into a tailspin, but at the time I'm completely in love with them.

As I mentioned in my last review, I am Ren Alexander's newest fan-girl for life. I absolutely love where she has brought me with this series, and I cannot wait to see what happens in Igniting the Wild Sparks (book 3 of the series) and anything else she may come up with. This is a series you do not want to miss. This is beyond five stars for me!

OMG I FEEL DEPRIVED!

Finn and Hadley are at it again in the continuation of their story from Chasing the Wild Sparks.

The setting for this book is Easter weekend and the revelations during this weekend for them are WOW. I actually felt like slapping both Finn and Hadley in this one because the suspense is killing me! The inevitable evidence against their love for each other is awesome. And the dare that he shared with Hadley was so sweet and inexplicably shows his love for her, but still her insecurities are playing ping pong in her head.

There are so many things that happens in this story and I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. The dual POV's is still there and like the first one there are times of emotional distress for me because I thought a few bad things were going to happen, but didn't. Or did they? I love how they argue about real issues that a lot of couples go through and the biggest one of all is that couples have trouble communicating with one another. Yes they can both solve the issues, but at what cost. Hadley knows what she wants, but is she willing to sacrifice them for Finn? Or will Finn ever change his mind about his issues? These are questions that you will have on your mind if you're anything like me and will want answers.

We get to know Finn a little more and his family as well. We get to experience some of Finn's past together with Hadley because she learns a few things about him from other people. And they grew as a couple and experience firsts in true fashion WILD STYLE. LoL. You will LOVE this book as much as I did and will be on bended knees begging the author for more as did I.

LOVE IT.

I love Finn Wilder, but I love Ren Alexander more for writing these books!! The story just continues right back to these two knuckleheads, Finn and Hadley both to stubborn and afraid of rejection. Finn has his own problems with commitment because of the divorces his parents went through so he strongly believes everyone is doomed if they marry. He knows deep down that's not true for everyone he just needs to consciously admit it. Hadley has her own abandonment issues and doesn't believe somebody could love her so unconditionally. The issue of marriage and babies it at the top of the list, along with why they should live together and when it should happen. They are at an impasse and both want what the other can't give at the moment. The things Finn does to get Hadley, or Becks, his nickname for her, to understand he's there forever are priceless and would make any woman fall to his feet confessing their undying love right back. But Hadley keeps feeling like it's not enough and that's she isn't good enough for the sexy, daredevil sportscaster. They struggle throughout the book about who needs to give in to who. There is a part in the book that made me laugh out loud so hard, hysterical, tears running down my face funny. This book will make you upset and furious that you'll wish you could just reach in and knock some sense into both Finn and Hadley. But it will also make you want your own unconditional lover. I loved this book even more than the first and I'll be impatiently waiting for the third. I think this book deserves more than 5 stars but that's all I can rate it.

The title of this book is great. The first book is Chasing the Wild Sparks and this one Daring the Wild Sparks. You will be feeling Wild Sparks after reading these! I love these books. I love Finn. I think you will too. I think I like him a tiny bit more than I do Hadley. Don't get me wrong, I love her. She just hits too close to home for me. Then I start thinking, wow, did I nag my partner that much? The answer is YES lol. What is ironic is that I have been thinking lately how cool it would be for an author to write a romance about my life. Well, folks, this is pretty much it lol. I will say it isn't one of my finer moments. But I understand the passion, conviction and frustration Hadley feels. I'm already ahead of myself. As we know she has an awesome sauce boyfriend, Finn, who loves her more than the air needed to breathe. He doesn't want to get married, she does. His issue about being married makes her reevaluate her beliefs and makes her wonder if she gives in to all his wants, what happens to hers? Can she live happily ever after with him if it means never being married? I could write on this subject for days, especially since I got engaged after being with my Finn for 10 years. Yes, 10 years lol. Take the ride with Finn and Hadley. You will laugh, cry and be frustrated all in the name of love and what it means to be in love. I cannot wait for the next book. I keep thinking I know whats going to happen but then it doesn't happen!

Did I mention this is a 5 star read? AND Finn is definitely on the book boyfriend list.

My favorite couple are back and at it again. Finn and Becks cannot seem to get their relationship on a straight and narrow path and its so much fun to watch them fight and make up.

In the second book of this series the author exposes exactly why a healthy relationship begins and ends with communication, without it you both are left floundering in uncertainty and unsettled feelings.

Although Finn knows he has found his one true love of a lifetime, at times he almost feels pressured and he cannot finalize the deal and truly commit to Becks. Will he find a way to open up all his secrets and vocalize his feelings to Becks?

Hadley a.k.a. Becks feels like she gives 100% in her relationship with Finn. She concedes to being the private girlfriend and the weekend lover, now she feels like she is the only one giving in this relationship when she agrees to finally move in with Finn without the benefits of marriage.

Finn and Becks finally talk about having a family and things get really heated and then very emotional when Finn backpedals and expresses his wishes about Becks going on birth control. Will this couple finally open up and share their emotions and feelings or will this be the final crack that breaks this duo up.

Bring it on Ren Alexander, I am a Finnatic-aholic!

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review…
5 well deserved stars

The insecurities that plagued Finn and Becks in Chasing the Wild Sparks continue in this next installment of the series. They are both still trying to hold their ground on how they view their relationship and its future. Will either of them have to give in to the other and abandon his/her convictions? Will there be a compromise and each get a little of what they desire?

The love they have for each other was apparent in Chasing and it is even more in this one, but neither of them is convinced. Issues get in the way of their dreams being fulfilled and even the dare that Finn shares with his Becks, which floored me, is not enough to make her believe he is in it for the long haul.

There were moments when I wanted to hit them upside the head due to their stubbornness, but the love I have for these characters kept me going. I can’t wait to see where their love story takes them, and me, in the next book, Igniting the Wild Sparks.

I loved this book just like I did the first one, and like I’m confident I will love the next. I am so glad to have discovered Ren Alexander and to have been introduced to this series. Ren has added a fan for life to her list.

The follow up to Chasing the Wild Sparks is equally as engaging as the first book. Daring the Wild Sparks is another can't put down read from Ren Alexander. I love the characters of Hadley and Finn. They are so in love with each other, but their ultimate dreams are not the same. Both of them desperately want to spend the rest of their lives together. The huge roadblock for them is the word marriage. This book continues their rollercoaster relationship. Never once, does the reader doubt how much they love each other. Even when they are arguing, the love and emotions show through. There are some very heartwarming moments. One of the best parts of the book is when Finn takes Hadley back to his high school. He gives her his class ring and letter jacket, if the reader isn't in totally in love with Finn before that scene, that's the clincher. This was another book that I just could not put down. The ending is left up in the air, but these two characters belong together, they are truly soul mates.

My, my, my, my, my...how I love Finn and Hadley but I am SO frustrated with them both!! These two love each other so much and have such chemistry together but they just can get on the same page. The sexual tension that they have is off the charts hot. I agree with both of their wants and needs but they really need to sit down and talk openly (Hadley) and honestly (Finn).

Finn invites Hadley to stay with him and his family over Easter break. Will this visit break them up or put a ring on Hadley's finger like she wants?

Hadley's BFF's Morgan and Rodd I absolutely love the trash talk back and forth. They liven up the mood in the book for the times when I want to throw my kindle down. Finn's BFF Ricky I am still unsure about. I know that he knows how much Finn loves Hadley but he needs to tell Finn a few things. Like...stop running to me and talk to Hadley!!!

I am dying to know when the next book comes out! I love, love, Iove Ren Alexander's books

OK people! This read is Necessary!
I already let you know how I felt about book 1, Chasing the Wild Sparks. Now we are back again with Daring the Wild Sparks, where Hadley, aka Becks, and Finn, aka Sparks, are still keeping us on our toes. The chemistry in this series and these characters, is ridiculous! Between the love/hate relationship we have going on and the underlying comedy, I am going to end up with abs! Reading Ren's work, I would never guess this was debut work. This witty romance has it all, the best friend drama, the parental chaos, the sexual tension and the angst we all love in a great romance. You even fall for the back up characters, I hope maybe to even see more of our friends' stories in the future.

My heart breaks for Hadley. I understand where Finn is coming from but Hadley has given up so much for him and gotten nothing in return. If he is going to propose or even marry her then he needs to do it or he will lose her. I still love Rod and Morgan. They are always there when Hadley needs them the most and sometimes, in Rod's case, when she doesn't want them. I love how this series has a different pace than others in the same category. It's like a real world relationship put to paper and that is so refreshing. I can't wait to read the 3rd book in this series, Igniting the Wild Sparks. I will be passing this along to my friends and family!

Another must read by Ren Alexander! I absolutely love this back an forth relationship of Finn and Becks. Just when I would get all excited that they were finally getting somewhere or that Finn was finally coming around, something in their lives or families would interfere. I couldn't put this book down as I had to see what would happen. I cannot wait for the next book so we know what happens with all the characters. In the first book we have lots of Rod and Morgan who are two of my faves but in this book we are also introduced to Finn's family who are just so fun. I love the banter he has with his siblings. Great work!

Wow! Another home run for Ren Alexander. Daring the Wild Sparks continues the love story of Finn and Hadley. The couple struggles against each other when it comes to marriage and children. Hadley wants it all and Finn does not, which causes some soul searching and hilarious conversations with their friends. The book is written in Hadley's point of view although two chapters are dedicated to Finn's point of view, which I think really helps to understand his feelings on the couple's issues.
I am excited to read the next book in the series because Daring the Wild Spark has left me wanting more.

I loved this book! I cannot wait until book three!! Finn and Becks absolutely drove me nuts emotionally. Finn getting a Becks tattoo over his heart melted me, I absolutely loved it. Although I just cannot see how he can carry her permanently inked on his body, over his heart. A symbol of forever and all eternity yet still send me mixed signals about his commitment. I don't doubt that Finn truly loves Becks I just wish he could just get his butt in gear. This book warmed, melted and broke my heart. A great read.

Daring the Wild Sparks was a very dramatic read! I absolutely loved it and think that a lot of readers will be able to relate to the characters. Commitment and starting a family often causes tension and drama in relationships. Finn and Hadley's relationship changed in this book, as Finn decided to no longer keep his personal life "so personal." I wish that we did get more of his perspective throughout the book. Once again I loved Rod and Morgan in this book just as much as I did in the first book, their relationship constantly had me laughing! Cant wait to read the next book! Great job Ren!

I was lucky enough to have received an ARC of daring the wild sparks and loved every minute of the book! wow loved this book just as much as I loved the first one. this is the second book in the series and let me tell you, you will love these book. the characters make you go through the emotions that they feel with. at times i was laughing yelling and down right angry and what Finn and Hadley say and do. Finn and becks issues are so well thought out and gives them a real feel. love it and can not wait for more. Ren you did yet another amazing job with this book!

LOVED THIS BOOK!!! This book took you deep into the mind and soul of Finn Wilder. You learn a lot about his past and why he is the way he is. It also goes further into discussions of the big questions haunting Hadley. Finn also gives Hadley an extra special (what he refers to as a) Easter Gift, that will leave you and Hadley surprised. I simply can not wait for the next instalment. this book got wilder (pun intended) towards the end and I for one am dying to know what happens next.
As for my fellow Rod fans, don't worry he makes his appearances as well, with all of his antics of course.

Finn and Hadley are back and they still can't seem to get it together. I Loved to see this couple learn to communicate. This book is the prime example of men are from Mars and women are from Venus. If you are looking for something that is funny and loving, this book is for you. Ren has really delved into love relationships and I am loving it. Don't Miss Out!

SOLID 4.5 FRUSTRATING STARS

Once again Ren is taking real life, really pulling you in and not letting go. It does not matter how frustrated this book made me I could not put it down. We have more of the same , Becks and Finn are so at odds , anytime you think they caught a break something comes up little or major and ruins the moment. Just about every hot moment in this book is plagued with raw honesty. This book covers their Easter weekend mini vacation and though it seems crazy that a whole book can be about just a simple weekend , so much happens in this one weekend it is insane.

We all know by now Finn loves a dare - so what happens when he is dared to do the few things he claims to not ever want to do ??

Finn reveals his latest dare to Hadley in front of his family and WOW it is a big one !! She then gives in and agrees to do something he has been wanting her to do for the past 3 years !! YAY we think we can see the light !! Not so much....
Without giving much away , which is hard to do , I will give a quick synopsis.
Not in any particular order !!

Gifts are exchanged and Finn's gift is a huge surprise , wait until you learn what it is. While it seems that his gift would solidify their relationship it of course just causes more issues. I honestly think Hadley drives me more crazy than Finn. I can relate to them both but WOW she is stubborn and rather annoying. Finn's mom and sister really make things uncomfortable for Finn and Hadley and if it isn't bad enough Finn's mom makes an announcement that sends the whole family into a downward spiral but of course mostly Finn. Hadley decides to leave and visit her friend to give Finn some cool down time. When they come back together Finn is the absolute cutest and sweetest ever. OMG the things he does are just so heartfelt and heartbreaking you cannot help but love him despite his faults !! I know this is vague but you just have to read it yourself to know.

Yes it ends as a slight cliffhanger. After Hadley states her intentions to need time away from Finn , Rod steps in to propose a plan to have Finn around , and of course we have Finn's co-worker who shall remain nameless trying to stake a claim. What will happen when Finn and Hadley come face to face after some time apart ??

I do not know what else to say , this book is frustrating and real , full of emotion and you will want to strangle Finn and Hadley. He says things without speaking and Hadley ALWAYS brings things up at the wrong time , over and over again. I have to know what the resolve will be and I will read their story until I figure it out !!

Book number two in the Wild Sparks series by Ren Alexander has left me desperate for more Finn and Becks. I am left with so many emotions, so many questions, so many hopes for this couple… This book was all around phenomenal.
What in the hell does he dream about? Probably bridges and blow jobs.
Actually, Finn Wilder dreams about his Becks. About being with her in every way, holding her at night, kissing away her fears. He even dreams about… well, I can’t tell you, because it’s a deep, dark secret that only Ricky, his best friend, really knows.
I don’t care if you’ve been baptized or not. I know what’s in your heart and soul and that’s why I love you so much. And if God has a problem with it, then I don’t want to go to heaven.
Hadley Beckett feels insecure in her relationship with Finn. She believes she’s not enough, that she can never be who he wants. I mean, he won’t marry her, won’t have a baby with her, and they’ve been together for over three years. Someone has to give, but who will it be?
In Daring the Wild Sparks, Finn and Hadley are fighting more often that usual. And about serious topics too. Neither one will budge on their stance, hoping the other will get tired and give in. That’s never going to happen, though, and it just might lead to the end of their relationship.
He is the real thing, my epic love.
Ren Alexander has once again killed me with her words. I was so into this book, ignoring all my other duties as a blogger and student. I was captivated from the beginning of the very first book.
I love that I can feel such emotion towards these characters. I admit, there were points where I hated Finn. Yes, I know. How is that possible? He’s hot, funny, and just all around amazing. BUT, I also wanted to strangle Hadley, but I can’t. They’re not real. Sorry for bursting your bubble.
There was one point where I was absolutely certain that Finn was going to propose, then I turn the page, and NOPE. Big smack in the face. He didn’t. But, I’m not saying he didn’t at all… You have to read to find out.
Ren Alexander, I am LOVING your work. I hate that it took me so long to read these. I am definitely in love with Ricky Tesco, though, Finn’s cop best friend. Yeah, he’s mine, so ladies, back off. ;)
This book receives five stars from me, for keeping me in suspense and making it almost impossible to put down my kindle. Those are the best types of books, that’s for sure.
If you want to read this, make sure you read book one first, Chasing the Wild Sparks. I highly recommend it!

Hadley is on her way to Finn's mother's house for Easter. For one of Finn's dares he gets a tattoo to show Hadley how much he loves her. Finn and Hadley get into a fight about Hadley wanting a baby, but Finn doesn't want kids. Julie and Simone become Ordained Ministers so they can marry Finn and Hadley. Julie tells her kids that she is getting another divorce, after the announcement Finn got really upset and he took off this is one of the reasons that he doesn't want to get married. Hadley left and went to her friend Bethany's house, so she could give Finn space, He didn't like that she left and he thought that he lost her again. He goes to Bethany's house to surprise her, he hide in the room that she was staying in.
Hadley to me is a very kind, caring and loving person. She also deals with her body issues, she doesn't understand why Finn would want someone like her. Finn loves his Becks with all his heart, to me he is commitment phobic. He is afraid that he is going to loose Hadley if they get married. Ricky is Finn's friend and too me he seems like a rock that he goes to for everything. Simone is Finn's younger sister, wants to become a aunt. Julie is Finn's mother, she loves Hadley and wants them to get married. Jack is Finn's stepfather and he loves all the kids like his own. Morgan is Hadley's friend and coworker. Rod is Hadley's friend and coworker, he loves Hadley like a sister.
While reading this book I felt Happy and sad, it had me wondering if Hadley and Finn ever going to get their happily ever after. One of my favorite quotes from the story is “ I dare you to get me pregnant.”
I'm so in love with this series, Ren Alexander is a great author. I love how I have questions that will hopefully be answered in the next book. I look forward to reading it.

Okay, so I’m probably Hadley’s biggest fan. But Finn is really getting on my nerves. If you don’t want to get married and have kids then you should be responsible and make the right decisions to prevent that from happening. He doesn’t think, and is being really careless and selfish. Only worried about what he wants and his needs. Maybe not completely true and he just doesn’t realize what he is doing to Hadley but I’m mad at him at the moment….

Hadley on the other hand is the only one who wants those things. But she is also the only one trying to not “ruin” Finns life. Even though she is madly in love with him, she doesn’t know if she can give her dreams up. Would you give up your dreams of marriage and kids for a man/woman?

While at Finn’s moms house for Easter they find out his mom and step-dad are getting a divorce. This pretty much push’s Finn farther away from marriage. Not wanting to be in the way (and with another crush of her dreams) Hadley decides to go spend the night with her best friend from school. This is where Finn starts getting a little crazy…and careless.

Finn’s “Easter gift” and moms divorce, along with high tensions and Morgan’s wedding Finn and Hadley are both being pushed to think about what they really want. Stand strong to what your dreams are or give them up for someone you love? Will they EVER get married? Is she going to stay with him? Have kids? They are obviously in love but just can’t get on the same page for anything right now.

Be advised: There's a lot of cursing and intimate scenes. I would NOT recommend this book/series for YA, or anyone that can't legally get into rated R movies

Finn really starts opening up in this sequel to "Chasing Wild Sparks." Well I should say that he starts to share his "dirty little secret" with the world, and introduces Hadley to his coworkers and confesses to his viewing audience that he is in love! As for opening up to Hadley, they still both have work to do in that department in the beginning.

I really grew to love Finn even more in this story. I love the friendship he and Ricky have, and enjoyed getting to know his friend more as well. Finn really tries to show Hadley how much he loves her, but he is so broken and irrational at times that he just doesn't know how. When he is finally warming up to the idea of proposing, his mom throws a whammy at him that she is getting her third divorce! That is all I can say at this time about his marriage/baby issues and what happens! At least now I can see that he does love her, because in the last book I wasn't sure if he had another dirty secret that involved someone else.

Hadley is still insecure in this book, as I would be too if I was in her shoes. However, she didn't repeat that as much as the last book and therefore she was less annoying to me. Overall I enjoyed this story even more than the first and give it 4.5 stars! I am really looking forward to read what Ren comes up with next!
