The book was really good, though it's not for people who get offended easily. It's very straight-forward, straight from God's word. A person needs to be able to cross-reference it with God's word and then accept truths. Excellent book that really changed my outlook. This study guide is pretty good. It's very brief and doesn't delve in as much as I had hoped, but still a good way to keep staying in touch with God's truth.

I think the companion Guide is neat in the sense it makes you look up things in the bible, and the "walking together in truth" has some good questions, but I think the book alone suffices as well.

This book made me realize how blessed I am to already be attending a Biblical church, where many things that appear to be "novel" are not so novel.

I think this is a very helpful book, especially for new Christian women. There was not a lot of new material for me, but I really liked how the content was structured, and it was so clear and easy to understand. I also like the hope it gives: that with God's help, we can stop believing the lies and know the truth, and ultimately, live free.

This book and study guide is a must read for EVERY woman who calls themselves a Christian. There are so many lies that I had bought into throughout my life that I never realized I believed until going through this study.

I gave Lies Women Believe Study Guide: And the Truth that Sets Them Free three out of five stars. While the book addresses common lies women believe, I found many of them to lack depth. For example, the recurring theme of self-inflation did not resonate with my personal struggles, which center more on shame, people-pleasing, and feeling unsafe in the world. Because of this, I did not find the content particularly impactful.

That said, the book is well-structured, and the supplemental Bible study is relevant and thoughtfully designed. I would recommend getting both as a package. I believe this book would be especially beneficial for women who share similar backgrounds with the author—those from secure, upper-class homes or stay-at-home moms. For women with different experiences or challenges, the focus of this study may not fully address the lies they struggle with most.

Overall, while the book may not have met my needs, it could serve as a valuable resource for others, depending on their background and personal journey.
