In a Nutshell: A combo volume containing books #13-15 & 18 of the Tinker Bell graphic novel series. A fabulous experience, partly because it sticks to the movie characters unlike the initial graphic novels. Much recommended!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This book collects four graphic novels of the Disney Fairies series featuring Tinker Bell and her friends. Two of the books contain the novelised version of two movies: Pixie Hollow Games (2011) and Secret of the Wings (2012). But the rest of the stories are original.
If you are a fan of the Tinker Bell movies, you are bound to love this collection as it features all the key characters from the movies. If you haven’t yet watched the Tinker Bell movies but are a fan of the fairy, this book is a good place to begin your Tinker Bell journey, though you might need some time to recognise everyone.
The overall level of this combo volume was excellent, much better than the first combo book with the initial four graphic novels. The storylines are much stronger, and the text is perfect for the target age of 6 to 10 years. The illustrations are also outstanding, though the story in book #15 worked better as a movie.
I wish I could figure out why this combo volume has books 13, 14, 15 and 18 instead of books 13-16 in sequence. This decision of skipping books 16 and 17 from this collection has created a continuity error as Book 18 and its Neverbeast tale should clearly come after Book 17, which introduces the Neverbeast.
I have already reviewed the individual books of this combo set as follows:
Book One (Graphic Novel #13): Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow Games - 3.75 stars.
Book Two (Graphic Novel #14): Tinker Bell and Blaze - 3.6 stars.
Book Three (Graphic Novel #15): Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings - 3.75 stars.
Book Four (Graphic Novel #18): Tinker Bell and Her Magical Friends - 3.95 stars.
Overall average for this volume: 3.75 stars.
Definitely recommended to Tinker Bell fans.
My thanks to Papercutz for providing the DRC of “Disney Fairies 4 in 1 Vol. 4” via NetGalley. This review is voluntary and contains my honest opinion about the book.
If you were fed up of seeing Tinker Bell on your feed thanks to me, you can relax now. This was the last Tink book on my agenda.* 😁
*Unless I can find a copy of the Neverbeast graphic novel. 🤭
I love Tinker Bell! I was obsessed with the movies growing up. The illustrations are perfect! They look exactly like the movie animation. This has 4 books of comics in 1, so you get way more stories. They are all short stories, so it’s a fun and quick read. My favorite has to be the Secret of the Wings section. It will always be my favorite movie and I loved reliving it with the comic. I loved that this book had more characters and aspects that have never been seen before. Both kids and adults can enjoy it!
Thank you to Disney Comic Group, Papercutz, and NetGalley for this e-ARC.
🕯️Review🕯️
Thank you so much to @papercutzgn for an ARC copy of this wonderful book! I may or may not fangirled when I saw that I was approved to read this! From the illustrations to the stories, I dearly LOVED this book! The illustrations were so fun. I enjoyed the layout of the stories too…it was reminiscent of reading Geronimo Stilton or Manga! If your kiddos (or you yourself) love these two types of books, I highly recommend this novel full of lovely fairy stories.
Also, this reading experience was extremely calming and nostalgic. These stories helped me wind down at night and drew me right back to my childhood. I truly recommend this if you’re going through a stressful time or want to dip your toes into some nostalgia 🧚🏻‍♀️✨
Happy reading,
My kiddos love Tinker Bell, so they truly enjoyed reading Disney Fairies 4-in-1 Vol. 4 by The Disney Comics Group. Some of the short stories felt like they had a few gaps in the storyline, but honestly, my kids didn’t mind at all—they just loved the bright, colorful pictures and hearing the story. Of course, we wrapped up our little fairy-themed segment by watching Tinker Bell afterwards. 😊
** Thank you NetGalley, Papercutz, and The Disney Comics Group for an eARC copy of Disney Fairies 4-in-1 Vol. 4.
The illustrations were great and I know the little ones will love to see Tinker bell and her friends going on adventures and learning from them... but I don't think I will read one of this in a while.
