Recognizing the novelty in the style of writing, he was awarded Kannada Sahitya Academy Datti Award for his novel Kanaka Musuku, which combines both history and science. As some experts have inferred, his thrillers have drawn a large number of new readers to Kannada.
In recognition of his novel contribution to Kannada Literature, Prof Ganeshaiah has also been honored with the Honorary President of Kolar District Sahitya Parishat during 2013

His recent book Sasya Sagga on the wonders of plant life as told through his own journey in the field of botany and evolution has attracted your readers. ಆರ್ಯ-ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತವನ್ನು ಬುಡಮೇಲು ಮಾಡುವ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ... ಇದನ್ನು ಓದದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ತರ ವಿಷಯವೊಂದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ..

ಈ ಆರ್ಯರೆಂದರೆ ಯಾರು? ದ್ರಾವಿಡರು ಎಂದರೆ ಯಾರು? ಆರ್ಯರು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು? ದ್ರಾವಿಡರು ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ನೂಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಾ? ಆರ್ಯರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರ?
ಇಂಥ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ "ಶಿಲಾಕುಲ ವಲಸೆ" ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎನಿಸಿತು ಓದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ.
ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಶುರುವಾಗುವುದು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಿಸುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ತುಂಬಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕದಿಯುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ. ಆ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಇಡೀ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಅಥವಾ ಯುರೋಪಿಯನ್ನರ ಗೌರವಾದರಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಂಥ ಡಾಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟ್ ಒಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಆ ಡಾಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂಗಪ್ಪನೆಂಬವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಿಯೋಜಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಗುಂಪು ಭಾರತದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಆ ಗುಂಪು ಅವಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಂಗಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಂಗಪ್ಪ ಡಾಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ವಿವರವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಡಾII ಪೂಜಾಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸುಳಿವನ್ನು ಪದ್ಯರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಮೇಲ್ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ತಿರುವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತ ಹೋಗುವುದು ಆರ್ಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಅಥವಾ ಆರ್ಯ ವಲಸೆ ಅಥವಾ ಆರ್ಯ ದಾಳಿ ಎಂಬ ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ಕಗ್ಗಂಟನ್ನು.
ಎಡಕಲು ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಶಿಲಾಕೆತ್ತನೆ, ವೈನಾಡಿನ ಕಾಡಿನ ಜನಾಂಗ, ಮಹಾಭಾರತ ಸಂಘವೆಂಬ ನಿಗೂಢ ಗುಂಪು, ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜಾತಿ ಎಂಬ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಷಬೀಜವಾಗಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ಹರ್ಬಟ್ ರಿಸ್ಲೇ ಎಂಬ ಅಂಡೆಪಿರ್ಕಿಯ ಸರ್ವೆ. ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ-ಶೂದ್ರ ಎಂಬುದರ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆ.
ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ಮುಲ್ಲರ್ ಎಂಬ ಅರೆಬರೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ತಜ್ಞ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ ಆರ್ಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಜೋತುಬಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಓಡಾಡಿದ ಯುರೋಪಿಯನ್ನರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವು ಎಡಬಿಡಂಗಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರು. ಅದೇ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತವನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯುರೋಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಟ್ಲರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಾರಣ ಹೋಮ ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರದ ಘಟನಾವಳಿಗಳು. ಗಟ್ಟಿತನದ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನ ಜಗಜ್ಜಾಹೀರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಲಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಜ್ಞರು. ದೇವರ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಮೂಲ (ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ವಿಸ್ತೃತವಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು).
ಹೀಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕುತೂಹಲಭರಿತ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ರೆಫರೆನ್ಸ್ ಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ಗಣೇಶಯ್ಯನವರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕುತೂಹಲಕಾರಿ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳು, ಸಾಹಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು, ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಭೇಟಿ, ನಿಗೂಢ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು, ನಿಗೂಢ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿವೆ.
ಓದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೊಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು.. ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಹೊರಬಂದಾಗ ಯಾರು ಇದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ!? ಹಾಗೆಯೇ
ಇದೇ ಕಥಾವಸ್ತುವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಭೈರಪ್ಪನವರು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾವ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರೋಧಗಳು ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎನ್ನುವುದು!?
ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೃತಿ.
ಇಂಥ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ "ಶಿಲಾಕುಲ ವಲಸೆ" ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎನಿಸಿತು ಓದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ.
ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಶುರುವಾಗುವುದು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಿಸುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ತುಂಬಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕದಿಯುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ. ಆ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಇಡೀ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಅಥವಾ ಯುರೋಪಿಯನ್ನರ ಗೌರವಾದರಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಂಥ ಡಾಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟ್ ಒಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಆ ಡಾಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂಗಪ್ಪನೆಂಬವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಿಯೋಜಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಗುಂಪು ಭಾರತದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಆ ಗುಂಪು ಅವಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಂಗಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಂಗಪ್ಪ ಡಾಕ್ಯುಮೆಂಟನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ವಿವರವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಡಾII ಪೂಜಾಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸುಳಿವನ್ನು ಪದ್ಯರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಮೇಲ್ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ತಿರುವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತ ಹೋಗುವುದು ಆರ್ಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಅಥವಾ ಆರ್ಯ ವಲಸೆ ಅಥವಾ ಆರ್ಯ ದಾಳಿ ಎಂಬ ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ಕಗ್ಗಂಟನ್ನು.

ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಕಥೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅದೂ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ. ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ವರ್ಗೀಕರಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿನ ಜಗಳ ಎಷ್ಟು ಮುಠ್ಠಾಳತನದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದು ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲುವುದು.

First of all hats off to Author. He keeps narration very simple and lucid. Because it involves many characters and their conversations. This creates scene in your mind which travels all over, till end. Just like a movie.
I felt history is boring until i started reading his books. Story is made out of two base elements 1.Aryan Origin and 2.Religion. We can not even imagine that we are reading story based some on 2 history elements. It feels that i am part of the story. It is beuty of story telling i really loved his readings.

After I read this book I feel it gave me a thought. The story narrated is fantastic which will hold on the readers till end. One feels as if they are reading a movie script. The book also doesn't claim anything hypothetically. One can find the reference for any facts. This makes the reader to think on the facts presented.

While the author's research is impressively thorough, the scholarly content overwhelms the storytelling, transforming what began as an engaging narrative into a series of historical lectures. The characters of Mahadev, Pooja rather than progressing the storyline, begin to feel like unwanted interruptions in an otherwise detailed historical analysis.
Still, this the book managed to keep me hooked and sparked my interest to deep dive into the Aryan Invasion Theory and its lasting impact on Indian society.

The fast pacing thriller novel about Arya Dravidian conspiracy. The content which the author is conveying is good but the narration is repetitive as in his last books. There are lot of people who are dividing Indians in the name of ethnic race for their own benefits, this book has tried to disprove the Arya Dravidian theory and gave a thought on evolution of God concept. I have read some of the concepts on God in "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins and other books. Well researched book which makes one to give a thought on God. It can be completed in a day because of lucid narrative style, give a try.

One of the best books by KNG. I feel the book is completely unbiased and explains the aryan n Dravidian misconception with proofs of links. Even it has concept of evolution of God. Must not to be missed.
