During its brief lifetime, its billions of users have devised many ways and hundreds of software tools for working on it - with new techniques and programmes appearing all the time. They have also evolved a language rich in technicalities and jargon that may simplify communication between experienced users, but can be a barrier to the novice.

This was writing research! It really was! This short book tells you everything you need to be a proper wizard. From the clothes, to the accessories, to the knowledge, to the proper dwelling.

Included, which were not what I was reading it for, are some activities -- word scramble, code-breaking, make an animal mask, recipes, etc. Could be great for a rainy afternoon. Like, oh, this entire YEAR. Jeesh, weather, what's up with that?

Anywho, not bad. A little gendered, though they do make a point of saying there are girl wizards. (You notice they didn't say there are boy wizards!) Girls used to reading about boys probably won't even notice and will happily wizardfy themselves. (Unless Rowling has indoctrinated them into thinking they're witches.)

The authors have some other books like imagining you're a pirate or a fairy and stuff. I'll get around to them shortly.

Lovely illustrations on each page that children would enjoy looking at. I do think the pages are quite hard to read due to some pages having a lot of text, hard to read fonts and an overload of illustrations.
