The newest thriller from Michael Koryta, New York Times bestselling author When fourteen-year-old Jace Wilson witnesses a brutal murder, he's plunged into a new life, issued a false identity and hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens. The plan is to get Jace off the grid while police find the two killers. The result is the start of a nightmare. The killers, known as the Blackwell Brothers, are slaughtering anyone who gets in their way in a methodical quest to reach him. Now all that remains between them and the boy are Ethan and Allison Serbin, who run the wilderness survival program; Hannah Faber, who occupies a lonely fire lookout tower; and endless miles of desolate Montana mountains. The clock is ticking, the mountains are burning, and those who wish Jace Wilson dead are no longer far behind.

Purchased the rest of the book as I could not just leave the story unfinished. I felt that the twist was a bit predictable as was the outcome. Nevertheless, the story was engaging and kept me reading to the end. A good summertime book if you like murder mysteries.
I love this & I can't wait for more. I will be also leaving a review on Goodreads @ Amazon. And letting everyone know about it. So i gave it a 5 Stars.
Much, much better than the movie! (But frankly, the movie was pretty bad). After reading this free preview of the first 10 chapters, I went ahead and bought the whole book.
I listened to this audio book while I was out for my runs... It is an amazing book..I was so engrossed in the story that I actually exclaimed out loud while I was running..yes, people were looking at me. I was really sorry when it ended, and the twist at the end was great...I am going to look for more books by this author.
