Study, transcription, and translation of the Manuscripts of Tomb No. 3 of Mawangdui pertaining to medicine. It is absolutely mind-blowing to be able to see Chinese Medicine in such an early development stage. Dr. Harper's study is also fantastic for the breadth of historical and social context he brings together to shed light on the cultural environment that spawned the manuscripts. One of the most enlightening reads I've had the opportunity to enjoy in the field of Chinese Medicine.
