An okay collection of comics focused on the Equestria Girls.

While I generally enjoy Friendship is Magic stories more than the Equestria Girls, I was really excited to see a new collection of My Little Pony stories.

For me, this one was just okay. It includes a nice variety of stories. I especially enjoyed how they filled in the gaps from the series including how the Humane Seven met and how Sunset Shimmer ended up in the human world.

There were some inconsistencies that I found confusing like Babs being is at Canterlot High during Apple Jack's freshman year when she should be around the same age as Apple Bloom and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders. That pulled me out of the story a bit.

Nice art styles.

Okay overall. Includes some nice themes of the importance of spending time with your friends and not having to be the best at everything.

I really enjoyed this collection. My favorite was Dashin' Around, a sweet story featuring Rainbow Dash and Applejack about the importance of cherishing time with friends. I was particularly captivated by Toni Kuusisto's beautiful art in the last three stories.

Like another reviewer said, I really liked how the book filled in some gaps not showed on screen, such as the events leading up to Sunset revolting against Celestia and how the human Mane Five became friends. However, I do have to take a star off because there were a couple of things that didn't make sense in the second story; namely, Babs being in high school with Mane Five during their freshman year when she is supposed to be closer to the Cutie Mark Crusaders' age, and Pinkie having the idea to hand out Wondercolt headbands at the soccer game when they were Rarity's invention in the Equestria Girls movie... Nonetheless, it was still a cute and enjoyable story, even if not my favorite in the collection.
