I really enjoyed this book! This book started off with a eerie feelings with the thick fog off the coast of Oregon, and a bunch of ghost hunters hoping to see a ghost. This book had suspense that kept me engrossed in the story. The action was thrilling. I loved the romance between Molly, and Nova. I will be adding this book to my list of favorites.

Molly owns the McGregor's bed and Breakfast. The home has been in her family for generations. Molly loves her family home but the only way she could afford to keep it, is to turn it into a bed and breakfast.

The story starts out with Molly having a house full of guest. She has a team of ghost hunters. She also has a few special agents that are celebrating. Nova is one of the special agents. The chemistry is instant between the two. Molly knows the relationship can't go anywhere. She knows Nova will be leaving town very soon. When accidents start happening, it's Nova that steps up to help Molly. Nova vows to find out who is trying to hurt Molly. Will he find out who is behind the attacks before the two of them become part of the legend that haunts the house?

If you enjoy a book with a great plot, suspense, action, and romance then I think you will enjoy this book!

Sample from chapter 12 - Lightning lit up the dining room, thunder rattling the chandelier above her. Then a loud snap sounded; the crystals shook violently. Molly's gut told her to move. She tried to stand, pushing to her feet so fast her chair tipped and fell backward, taking her with it. She slammed against her back, her head bouncing off the Persian rug, her vision blurring. Another snap above and in the flash of lightning Molly caught a glimpse of the huge, old chandelier falling towards her. "Get back!" she yelled. Before anyone could move, the chandelier crashed down on the table, crushing the candelabras and scattering broken crystals over the tabletop, floors and the stunned group of people.

Good book. I liked the suspense and the chemistry between Nova and Molly is great. Molly is hosting a ghost hunters weekend at her B and B when things start to get a little scarier than she expected. First she hears voices calling for help in the fog. Then a "ghost" pushes her down the stairs. She's happy that secret agent Casanova Valdez is there to watch out for her. Nova is there because his team just finished a mission there at Cape Churn (see Deadly Engagement). He's supposed to leave the next day, but he's drawn to Molly and stays to keep her safe.

Molly loves her B and B. It has been in her family for a long time and is the house she grew up in. To keep from having to sell it, she turned it into a B and B, but she still struggles to make ends meet. Because it is supposedly haunted, she's counting on this ghost weekend to bring in some needed revenue. Nova is there with his team members and some locals having dinner to celebrate the end of their mission. She can't keep her eyes off him, but she's aware of his reputation as a ladies' man. When an accident with his car keeps him there for an extra night, the attraction they feel heats up. He's there when she is pushed down the stairs, and since he doesn't believe in ghosts he suspects one of the ghost hunters. Molly is happy to have him staying close to her as strange things continue to happen. Molly is happy to have Nova there, and is certainly enjoying having him close, but she is trying very hard not to depend on him too much. She's lost enough people in her life that she feels it's better to count on no one else being there for her. I loved the way that she found herself dreaming of what it would be like if he stayed. I really liked the way that her enthusiasm for her home and her town were so evident in the way she talked about them to others. Her independent spirit also gave her the ability to stay calm in a crisis, which came in very handy!

Nova hadn't been able to keep his attention off Molly during dinner. Besides her beauty he was really impressed with the way she kept things running smoothly. He just kind of rolls his eyes at the ghost hunters since he doesn't believe in ghosts. He has even fewer reasons to believe later that night when someone pushed Molly down the stairs. I loved the way that he immediately jumped in to take care of her and even help out at the B and B. As the weekend went on and strange things kept happening he was determined to protect her. I loved seeing him go from a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy to one who is actually thinking about putting down roots. He has to overcome the demons of his past, especially the death of the woman he had loved and whose death he felt responsible for. I loved seeing him do all kinds of things he would have never considered before and the satisfaction it brought to him. It was great to see how his whole attitude changed the closer he got to Molly.

The mystery was very well done. From the cut brake line to the final showdown I was completely involved in the story. There were two things going on - the ghost hunting and the attacks on Nova and Molly and the need to see if they were related. I loved all the descriptions of the ghost hunt and the stories of the various ghosts. The seance was really spooky and the things that happened during it gave me goosebumps. The mystery of the attacks was also great. I had a feeling I knew who was behind them, but there were enough questions that I wasn't completely positive. I really liked the epilogue and hearing the results of the ghost hunt.

I would have given this book 4 stars if it would not have been a predictable read. After reading starting few pages I already knew who was the killer and after that I wasn't really enthusiastic to read more because everything was so obvious.

Again, awesome book and great lead into next. Though they all could be read as stand alone and enjoyed, the continuing element makes you want to read them all!

Molly is working at opening their home as a B&B, and she's got her brother and his friends staying to help get it ready along with one very sexy and helpful investigator, Nova.

Right before they leave, a series of accidents, leaves Nova gladly watching over Molly when her first guests arrive. Mollys not sure she can handle having the sexy agent around but once she is pushed down the stairs, how can she say no to his being there!

Great details and storyline!

This book takes place at the McGregor Manor B & B in Cape Churn, Oregon. Nova is an SOS agent and Molly owns the B & B. This story keeps your attention from the first page through to the last. Molly is having a special weekend for ghost hunters and someone is trying to kill them. I loved Nova and Molly and kept cheering for them. There's lots of action, mystery and romance in this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I loved this book and recommend it to everyone.

Molly lost her fiancée, maybe. She opened up a B and B in her family home. Gabe her brother is a cop. Nova is part of the SOS Brotherhood and there to protect Molly and find out who is targeting her trying to get to him. 2 years while undercover Nova lost his girlfriend by a bullet meant for him. There is a ghost weekend at the B & B and they are all in the line of fire. This book was long and slow. The culprit is a surprise. Read on.

This is a good story. I did figure out who was responsible for everything very early on. It is not a book I'll read again but I will read the other books about this set of people.

Casanova (Nova for short) and his team celebrate a recent victory at the thought to be haunted Bed & Breakfast of a teammate. A deadly fog comes in called the Devil's Shroud stranding everyone at the B&B but Tazer and Nova decide to take their chances in the weather. It isn't long into their journey before they realize their brakes have been tampered with. The fog was as deadly as the road was treacherous and the two of them barely got out alive. And so they too are stranded at the hotel at the mercy of the devil's shroud. Nova and Molly were both thinking about each other in that romantic way and decide that a no-strings-attached affair is the ticket for them. After their deadly liaison Molly is pushed down a set of stairs that could have killed her and that is when they realize there is a deadly threat in their midsts.

This book was compelling and it was fun to follow the action and try to figure out which of the guests were behind all the antics.

I loved Elle James' book Deadly Liaisons. Questions, questions, questions. That was all Molly McGregor was getting as she hosted a group of ghost hungers on a Ghost weekend. Her other guests could join or not. Casanova Valdez, a friend of the family stays to help her answer some of the questions after she is pushed down the stairs. Who or what is out to get her and why? All she is doing is trying to save her family home. Casanova gets in deeper that he intends when he falls for Moll. Can he change his entire life just to be with her? Meanwhile, the ghost escalates his plan to kill Molly.

2.5 Are you kidding me stars.

Disappointing read over all. A few parts were really good, but some of the descriptive words were just bad and I knew the "killer" and motive by 33%. They fell in love in 2 days. He missed a huge clue and left her alone knowing she was in danger a couple times. She had a couple TSTL moments as well. The kicker for me was when . I thought he had a functional brain until then.

Another good book by Elle James. Deadly Liaisons. Talk about a "cliff" hanger, it sure was one. "Something" was hanging from the cliff. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Wanted to find out who was doing all the bad things to the "haunted" house and the people who were staying there. A very good read.
