Life has never been easy for nineteen year old Ava Berry. After her mom suddenly disappears and has only left her a letter, she knows something's wrong. After escaping her mom's boyfriend, she ends up at her long lost Aunt's bar. There she meets Josh Woods twenty eight year old playboy. After meeting Ava, he feels something deep for her. But with Ava's past coming out for her, will they ever be happy?

Beautiful Innocence is a book filled with angst and passion. This book is in first person point of view, which I don't usually read, but in the case of this book it was bearable.

Ava Berry barely escaped her mother's boyfriend. After escaping she went out and sought for her long lost aunt who took her in. While working at her aunt's bar, she meets Josh and sparks fly instantly.

There were some spelling errors, though it was not that noticable. Ava was very innocent being sheltered, Josh was a self-pronounced playboy and never cared much for long term relationships until he met Ava. I was wishing that before Ava's mom gone, there could have been an interaction between the two so I could have sympathized with Ava more.

Beautiful Innocence , is a book that could make you feel emotional and is recommended for people who love some heavy drama.

Josh is a touchy-feely kind of boy, "the cupcakes are ruined, and I take the blame for distracting he, but I can't say I'm sorry. I don't even know what I was thinking lifting up her shirt like I did." Josh tends to overreact on some things, "eff, are you telling me I'm right? I just effed a virgin up against my truck in the back parking lot of a Piggly effing Wiggly?" He can be playful, "I don't give a sh**. Just do it." He smacks my a** as I walk away." But it's all seriousness where Ava and her touching him, "my hand travels down to his rock hard abs until I grab him, bringing on another throaty growl from my man. "Eff, baby, you have no idea how good that feels. It's been too long." I hope another brother gets his story because these are characters you can't help fall in love with.

Ok read. Heroine was a little immature, both in dealing with her relationship with males and in lying about her age. I got it she was just 19, but her background shouldn make her more mature… rather than so easy to believe others.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like Josh. He came across in the first book as a a**hole. He was definietly a player until he saw Ava. Ava was on the run from her mom's boyfriend and son. When she overheard their plans for her she knew she couldn't stay around. Her mother up and left her and she was no longer safe.
I think Josh overreacted to the age difference. Yes she lied about her age but she was afraid of being kicked out of the only place she had to keep her cover.
I did think Ava was a little trusting, Knowing that David was a part of what was going on and to willingly follow him without question. I do like that Josh gave his got his piece of revenge on each of the men involved. Although I am a little blood thirsty so I would have like to have read what each prisoner went to before they met their end.

Beautiful Innocence is a really sweet story. I loved it even if it was a bit cheesy at times. It was just a really great read.

Ava hasn't had the easiest of lives. The book opens when she is escaping from something. She is pretty tight lipped about what happened and where she came from. If someone tries to talk to her about it she just says it is in her past. She goes to Charleston because her aunt, who she has never met, lives there. Her mom disappeared and Ava assumed she got out and will come looking for her there. That was their secret plan to go to Charleston.

When she gets there she gets a job at and room above her aunts bar. She runs into Josh pretty quick and sees for herself what a playboy he is. When Josh gets called in by her aunt to try and find the mom (unbeknownst to Ava) they get thrown together a bit. Josh is such a great guy even if he is hesitant to start something with Ava. He obviously likes her, but he is afraid of his feelings for her. His first foray into love did not end well and since then he has never wanted to let himself be that vulnerable again. He just cannot help himself though when she is around and it quickly gets serious.

Ava is so sweet and kind and just a great person. At the beginning of the book she is kind of a scared girl, though she still has a bit of a backbone. By the end she is this not exactly fearless, but super strong girl who is amazing. She is still afraid of some things at the end, but she doesn't back down from them. It is great.

Through it all, from the very beginning, Josh is there for Ava. They quickly grow close and they were just so sweet. Josh is a great guy and even though there are a some bumps in the road he is great. He is just wonderful with her and I really liked them together. Sure you know most of what is going on and as the story unfolds it becomes more and more evident what Ava's running away from, but it was a great read. It was a bit cheesy at times even though the story deals with some very dark topics, but it is a light, fun read. I just loved Ava and Josh together.

5 Beautiful and Heartfelt Stars, Just Amazing!!!!

OMG, I absolutely freaking LOVED this book! Josh, OMG, yeah there are no words except PERFECT and Ava, oh my, girl crush going on here! These 2 were simply beautiful and perfect and amazing and the love they had for each other, I could feel it straight into my soul.

The writing was great, the storyline was intriguing, mysterious, sexy and it had drama and angst and the sex was HOT straight off the CHARTS, BLAZING HOT!!!!!

I have to say that at one pint around the 67% or so mark, I cried, I mean heartbroken tears for what they were both going through, I was crushed. Thank goodness that once I picked my Kindle back up, my heart was slowly but surely mended and by the end, that Epilogue......made my heart whole and left me with the biggest grin on my face!!!!! I LOVED it!!!!!!!

Unexpected love

Would have been 5 stars but the editing was rough. With that said, I loved Josh and the way Ava was that brought him to his knees. My heart goes out to Sam. I hope he gets his own love.
