The highly anticipated final installment of the love series
Don’t Mess with MAMA! The age old adage is well worth heeding when it comes to the elite ladies in this inner circle.
Kennedy Mondane, Cherish Braxton, and Kinji Aguilera, are women who have had their fair share of heartache, pain, loss, and betrayal. Finally happiness has descended in the midst of chaos, but it is short lived, as dark, ominous, specters of the past resurface. With threats swirling in every breath, each of these women stands on the jagged cliff of destruction, battle lines drawn, with the fate of everyone they love and treasure hanging in the balance.
A Mother’s Love knows no bounds in saving their sanity, protecting their children, or their futures. They will never run from a fight. They will never back down. This time, it’s all or nothing!

It was very difficult for me to get into this book. Since the last book in this series came out like 2yrs ago I totally forgot about the majority of these characters other than Mo, Boss, & Kinji. There were just way too many story lines going on at the same time. There had to be at least 5 different story lines with 10 or more characters going back and forth. It was mentally exhausting all the flip flopping. I think this tale could have been wrapped up a bit neater. I don't know that all the younger characters really brought anything to the table here. I would have rather the book focused in Mo & Kinji, a Boss & Tianna, & Success & Shan. I feel so far removed from this series, that by the end of the book I still can't figure out where Rock & Kennedy came from. Note to author, 2yrs is too long of a wait to add a book to a series.
I first have to say that I absolutely loved A Mother’s Love!!! A Mother’s Love has it all and you will not be disappointed at all. All of the regulars from the previous two books are in this one and you will also get to see a couple of new faces. In A Mother’s Love we get to see a grown up Cherish dealing with some very grown up issues, Kinji dealing with things from her past, and Kennedy and Morgan also dealing with a lot of issues. There are more surprises in store that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you haven’t read this one it is definitely a must read. I loved the whole series and I am sad to see it end but Ms. LaShaun did her thing with this book!!. I am looking forward to seeing what is next from Ms. LaShaun!!
Note to reader of this book before you attempt to read please Inconvenient Love and Lethal Love first or you won't know the characters. It was good to be with my man Mo again and I was happy to see the resolution with the situation with Boss , I wanted more of the original characters but the introduction of new characters was interesting . There few scenes that made me mad, glad and sad but I was happy to see my man again to see my girls get their HEA.
Wow Elizabeth really do it this book pure fiyah. It had drama, suspense, tear jerking moments ands a shocker I would have, never expected. Kudos Elizabeth, fantastic job with this whole series. If you haven't read this series you are missing out. I highly recommend this author books. Looking forward to the next one.
Elizabeth Lashaun never ceases to amaze. I am sad to see these characters go but I loved the send off she gave them. This story brought about so many emotions it felt like I was being reunited with long last family.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better. I see you Miss Lashaun..You aint right! lololol Be still my heart that's all I can say. I went throught the motions with his one. I felt it. This is how you write a series people. Take note. You better get to reading! But overall I really loved how everything came full circle for every one. Kennedy, you aint right! no no no girl! Cherish, Keep you head up! Love is definitely beautiful as well as the power of forgiveness! Trust your instincts. Another 5 star read!
