New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cathryn Fox is a wife, mom, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She loves dogs, sunny weather, anything chocolate (she never says no to a brownie) pizza and red wine. Cathryn lives in beautiful Nova Scotia with her husband, who is convinced he can turn her into a mixed martial arts fan. When not writing, Cathryn can be found Skyping with her son living in Seattle (could he have moved any farther away?) shopping with her daughter in the city, watching a big action flick with her husband, or hanging out and laughing with friends.
This is the fourth book in this impressive series, and this is Ash and Gina’s story. Ash is the star defenseman for the Boston Bucks, and Gina is a single mom. Both of these characters have been burnt by the past, but the sparks fly between them. This is a well written easy t read, slow burn story, with family, friendships, emotions, secrets, determination, meddling, humor, witty banter, tension, trust, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and sweet page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I absolutely devoured this book. It started off strong right from the beginning and kept picking up momentum the whole way through. Ash has a bit of a reputation, but as the story unfolds and he shows who he really is, that reputation is totally unfounded and is based on lies. I loved how he is with Gina and her daughter Zoe. Book are a bit wary to start anything that might resemble a relationship so they come up with a compromise that definitely has an end date. Yeah - that doesn’t last long but they are still both hesitant to give what is developing between them a name. But once their strong feelings couldn’t be ignored I liked how they just went with it but were still respectful of hurting or misleading little Zoe. There are many minor characters in this story that all add to make this such an incredible read. A few come into the book towards the end, which somewhat ties up part up the storyline but one of those characters I have a sneaking suspicion that they just might find themselves as a main character in a future story. With just have to wait and see!!

Highly entertaining sexy goodness! Cathryn Fox is bringing the adorable with book four in her Boston Bucks hockey series. I'll admit right off the bat that I loathed the Ash-hole shtick, but everything else was delightfully satisfying! Both characters had a past that made them leery of trusting but their connection was really sincere and played out well. The little family they put together was super sweet. I loved that he was so in from the very beginning and always supportive no matter what. There could have been a bit more hockey and a bit more team camaraderie to bring everything full circle, but I loved it regardless and felt like it was a complete story. I highly enjoyed Gina and Ash and recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a sports romance with lots of heart and passion.
Ash is a professional hockey player who comes across as brash and is known for his performance on the ice and his charm with woman off the ice. When he meets Gina there is no denying the feelings he has not only for her but for her daughter Zoe as well.
Gina believes who knows the type of man that Ash, but she soon realizes that she doesn’t know him at all. She believes that she needs to keep things casual, for both her and her daughter’s sake, but that is proving to be more difficult than she expected.
The interactions between Ash include humor and heat and the way he is with Zoe as well as Gina is sure to touch your heart.
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Ash Wheeler is a star defenseman for the Boston Bucks. He has a bit of a reputation, being as he is a popular hockey player and women flock to him.
He starts a situationship with a single mother, Gina. I loved how he was with an adorable Zoe. The feelings between Ash and Gina quickly progressed and both were afraid to give in to them. I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a single mom, hockey romance then you’re going to love it.
A lovely read starring two hesitant people who have had previous bad experiences but who are perfect for each other. This is a romance that developed slowly as Gina and Ash test the choppy waters that, potentially, could lead to something special. I loved Gina's determination to take her own life in her hands and ensure that Zoe,her sweet daughter, is surrounded by good, caring people. Ash is a sweetheart. Dipping his toes into coupledom has him taking on respothat are new, but they suit him! And if Dad gets his way.....💓 A lovely read with sympathetic characters, laughter and that magic touch of love. 💖💖💖💖💖
Oh, I really enjoyed these two! Gina and Ash have both been burned, both are very private, and both cannot contain the heat that springs up between them. Slowly, they step outside their comfort zones in public, but in private, there is no hesitation of them being together. Throw in a meddling little girl and father, and they really never stood a chance except to be together <3
I absolutely loved this book!! It was beautiful to see Ash and Gina both learn to love again as they let go of the past. Ash is such a sweetheart. I loved how he was with his father and with Gina's daughter Zoe. This story is heartfelt, emotional and beautiful. The characters are great and loved the little family that Gina and Ash formed.
