I listened to the Audible version of this serial and it was okay. Nothing new here, but it was alright for a super-quick listen between longer, more substantial reads.
Pretty, working-class student meets rich, successful guy. Of course, he's into BDSM and she's a little naive. We're all familiar with this trope by now. I've read better. I've read worse.
I wish I could say that I felt a strong connection to this story, but I just didn't. Maybe if it had been longer, I would've formed more of a connection, but I'm doubtful. My feelings toward Carrie and Gavin were lukewarm, at best.
As with most serials, this one ends with a cliffhanger. I'm mildly curious to see how things work out, but probably not enough to pick up the next installment...at least not anytime soon. For now, I'm shelving this series.

I opened up this book and started reading it and couldnt put it down. I was so excited as I started to read it. I enjoyed the two charctors and cant wait to see what happens next I would recommend this book for people to read. it did leave a small cliffhanger but I was told we wont have long to wait for the second part to come out! YAY! I want to see what happens next so bad!! Please pick up a copy of this book today and please read it you will not be disappointed in this!!

HOT HOT HOT! This story is set up in a series of short books. I have many times tried this sort of book and found myself disappointed in the fact that I had to keep purchasing the next installment when I was not too thrilled about the first few, BUT not this one. I was captivated from the beginning. M.S. Parker did a great job developing the characters, especially Carrie, so that I was drawn in to the story from the start. Carrie has an awesome personality and is very relatable so living the story through her eyes makes you feel everything with her. Gavin is smoking hot and, thankfully, not too dominant or overbearing. Dont get me wrong, I love the dominant type, but have read so many stories where the leading man was just too much too soon, but the author didnt do that in this story, so their connection is much more believable. The chemistry between the two main characters is palpable! And the love scenes? Whew! *fans self* Very detailed in description so that you feel like you are right there! Another thing I adored about this book is that it felt more real because everything didnt happen easily and perfectly the first time Carrie and Gavin were together. There were fumbles and insecurities, but Gavin (swoon) helped Carrie through it in the sweetest ways and with a sense of humor that made me really fall for him. It did end on a bit of a cliffhanger, but all that did was make me anxious to read the next one! I would totally recommend this book! Cant wait for part 2!

This was a good fast read, I enjoyed the flow of the story an how Gavin kept his background evasive ...I enjoyed the parts in the club an what lead to what Carrie really wanted .....love love loved the ending can't wait for the next book to see how she reacts to her roommates bomb!!!!!!

This book took a while to get going. You have Carrie who is intent on her studies but on a night out with some friends, on a dare, goes up to a man to ask for his number, that man was Gavin.
They encounter one another on a couple of other occasions, at Carrie's workplace and at a club opening that Carrie attends with her friend and flatmate, but were these encounters as chance a meeting as they appear?!
When they encounter one another at the club sparks fly and a hot and steamy night follow. However things soon come to light that will, in the next instalment, no doubt lead to a riveting read!
It took a while to warm to Carrie, I found her viewpoint on studying and doing well a valid one however, and it was a big however to me, don't mentally mope about the length of time it has been between dates and sex when you are constantly claiming that you do not have the time to do these things!!
Gavin on the other hand was a hard person to gauge. This was no doubt planned by the author, what with the book being written from Carrie's perspective and with the revelation that came at the end of the book. There were instances when an expression crossed his face that had me wondering about his intentions but I guess I will have to wait for the next instalment to see if my hunch was correct or not.
All in all a good, short, first instalment to a series that leaves you wanting to read more. I cannot wait to see how the lawyer part of Carrie reacts to things discovered!!

Haven't made up my mind yet.
I'm intrigued enough to consider buying the 2nd book, but have not made up my mind.
Very few editing problems. Good story. But I hate it when a story is dragged out to encompass 5 or 6 books when it can be told in 1 or 2.
I feel a series should constitute something that is similar in each book, but that each book should have a true beginning, middle & end.
So in essence, the story of Gavin & Carrie should really be completed, if not in this book, then definitely by the end of book 2. However, that is not the case here.
In a way I am contradicting myself. How so? One of my favorite romances is written in 3 separate books.
So the question is, "Is this a series worth the money & time?" I just can't honestly answer that.
I can say that I have read other books by M. S. Parkers & enjoyed them very much. But, You will have to decide for yourself if this series is worth 5 or more books worth.

I was given a copy by the author for an honest review. Never having read her work I thought I'd take a chance. With a title like Club Prive you can sort of guess this is a sexy read and you'd be right. Our story starts off with the introductions, girls night out during happy hour and they have found our man. Carrie is a paralegal/law student with her head on straight and focused on studies for so long that she hasn't dated in over a year. Gavin is our sexy, mysterious, sweet talking man. He's a "consultant" doing investigative research which always leads him to her. They get along famously and then....the cliffhanger!
I enjoyed how Carrie is just the smart normal woman that everybody can related to. Gavin's this hot guy you would expect to have a date every night, the playboy. There is a lot more to this story and Gavin's mysterious life. Look out for Club Prive #2!

I am such a big fan of these little short stories involving the same characters, getting a taste every couple of weeks. And what a brilliant start to the first of several books starring Gavin and Carrie. It was so hot! It look like this series is going to have lots of twist and turns and intrigue. The only thing I would change is the name Gavin, Gavin is not a hot name, but then I am sure as I fall in love with Gavin it will become a very sexy name.
I am only going to give Club Prive book 1, 4 stars because it is the first book and only the introduction but when I think of other books I have read, this was just as good a first meeting to star crossed lovers I have enjoyed. I am sure as we go more into the story M S Parker will be earning those five stars.

Sexy, steamy and downright delicious...I think M.S. Parker has hit this series out of the park! The characters are made for you to fall in love with and I was reeled in on the first page. Strong and independent, shy but has a voice, Carrie is introduced on these pages with love. I became fond of her immediately and you can feel that something special building almost immediately. Gavin's mysterious edge and charm give him the total package that I can't wait to see unwrapped. M.S. Parker, congratulations on such a great piece of work. If the next 4 installments are anything like the first...you'll have me as your number one cheerleader!

Club Privé Book I (Club Privé Book #1) by M.S. Parker. It took a bit to get going but then it was wonderful. This is the first teasing book in Club Privé series and the author packed a lot into this short story.
This is Gavin and Cassie's story, and the chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. It is sexy, sizzling, enticing, titillating and everything in between.
This book is a novella making for very quick and easy read. It did end on a cliffhanger, but I am off to read the next book anyway.

This is book one to the Club Prive series and from what I understand the books will be releasing about two weeks apart. They are novellas, but M.S. Parker sure packed a lot of information in this first book and left you wanting much more.

Gavin is a mystery as far as book one is concerned. We learn bits and pieces about him, but never really get his whole story. He is a nice guy, however the details we know are pretty sketchy as of now, except for the fact that he definitely knows what he is doing in the bedroom.
Club Prive is soooooo sexy towards the end. With what Carrie finds, I can only imagine what is in store for her and Gavin in the next installment. Thank you M.S. Parker for letting me read it.

This is book one in Club Privé series and quite a lot is packed into the short story. Carrie is a law student whose life has been revolving lately on work and studying. Her roommate decides that she needs to go out with some friends and meets Gavin. Suddenly, she can't turn around without him showing up. Gavin is not shy about wanting to get to know Carrie more. Carrie, however, has way too much on her plate for relationships even if just the sight of Gavin leaves her wanting much more. She winds up at the opening of Club Privé, Gavin once again appears and the sparks between the two fly.This story may be short but the heat level is through the roof and the cliff hanger ending left me panting for more. This is one not to be missed. I can't wait for the next installment.

I was gifted this book by the author in exchange for my honest opinion. It's a great story, the characters are interesting, intriguing and exciting. It's really well written with the right amount of sexiness! The story line is exciting and the characters have great chemistry. I can't wait for the next book in the series as Gavin and Carried are so good together. I'm sure their journey through this story is going to be mind blowing if the first book is anything to go by. Having not read anything by this author I wasn't sure what to expect but I can safely say I'm really please I discovered her.

4 Star Review - I was gifted a copy for an honest review.
M.S.Parker is a new author to me. Although this was a short story I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is book 1 in what I believe is a 6 part series. Claire meets Gavin after winning(or losing) a game of chance with her girlfriends at their local bar. She never expects that she will see him again but that is exactly h]what occurs. The sex is steamy and hot and mind blowing. This book ends with a cliff hanger leaving the reader to wonder how Gavin and Claire will move forward. I have to say I am looking forward to the rest of the books in this series...

I received this arc for a honest review. Next time I go out with my girls I want to meet a guy like Gavin. Carrie is a little insecure in the personal life department and not so muchh in her professional life. Gavin is smoking hot, mysterious, confident did in say MYSTERIOUS guy. The chemistry is good between these two and I can't wait to find out what the hell Gavin is keeping under wraps in book 2 and why?? I think it might get a little kinky??? Hmm can't freaking wait. One click this chicas! I honestly was reading this on my iPhone walking around cause I couldn't out it down.

A great start to what seems to be an interesting story. What would make it better? Gavin's POV. I think it was necessary and sorely lacking. However, MS Parker has a wonderful way with words and I really enjoyed this read. Although I found Carrie's character annoying, I liked that she was intelligent, articulate, ambitious, and independent. She definitely doesn't need to be saved. But honestly, she's complaining because a gorgeous man is so into her that he goes where she goes just to have amazing sex??? What's the problem lol.

Received this as an ARC. An intense, steamy, quick read, that definitely left me wanting Book 2 right away! I hate that so many books lately are becoming so predictable, but Club Prive was anything but. Didn't leave off on the biggest cliff-hanger I've ever read, but left you wondering none the less. It hooks you right from the start, and keeps your attention the whole way through. Parker knows her stuff, can't wait to see what else she has in store for Carrie and Gavin!!!

I can't express how much I really enjoyed this first book, my only regret is that it's to short. M.s Parker has given us 2 very believable characters Gavin and carrie who have an awesome chemistry.
You have it all wrapped up in a few neat pages, charm, mystery,suspense and very hot lust that keeps you turning the pages for more. I would highly recommend this book and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the story played out.

I was captivated from the moment we first met Gavin, with his naturally tanned skin and deep blue eyes sitting in Huggins Bar and Grill. And the heat just kept sizzling. When he and Carrie stepped into the elevator and he pressed her up against the wall ravaging her body, I felt as if he was going to take her right there. Chapter nine took me by absolute surprise! I didn't see that coming. Club Price is definitely a MUST READ. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Okay so where to began. First off Wow!! Loved it has a bit of everything and was such a shocker that cliff hanger left good part don't have to wait to long for next book. I can honestly say I can not wait for this whole series to be out! You have a sexy ass male lead and a shy women who will coming out of shell and shocking the hell out of everyone!!! M.S. This book was so good I couldn’t put it down as thoughts of will they or no it couldn’t be kept running through my head. I really liked that I could relate to Carrie in so many ways. She’s shy, quick but really does want to break out but just doesn’t know how. Gavin is very much an alpha Male who likes to get what he wants but just how far will he go? He’s Hot and Sexy who wouldn’t want to read on?
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series to see where these 2 go.

Club Prive sound like an interesting club to go to. But what are the secrets that are behind it? What are Gavin's secrets and why is Carrie the one who has caught his attention?

Wow I loved this book. The sexual tension between Gavin and Carrie was smokin hot. I could not put this down, this series will definitely having me coming back for more. I need more of Carrie and the sexy Gavin. Can't wait for book 2.

I received an arc of club prive for my honest review. I'm my honest opinion I needed more spark from Carrie and Gavin, although they were very attracted to each other there wasn't that boom I like to see! But I did enjoy the story and it's gets better and better the more your read. I'm looking forward to book 2 to find out more!

OMG! And WOW! Received the Review copy of Club Prive last Tuesday, and read it before going to work. Totally loved the book, It's a quick read but can't wait for the next book to find out what Carrie will do and what Gavin has in store for Carrie. This book was definitely one HOT READ a must Have series!! Thanks for writing a great book M.S. Parker!
