I really loved the story! It's filled with wonderful emotions, surprises, and complex characters. We get to know Ember, our FMC, and witness right from the beginning how awful some people, especially certain men at college, can be. She struggles with the situation and faces further harassment. Over the Christmas break, she plans to return to her parents, but a snowstorm changes her plans, leading her to stop at her stepbrother's house.

Koda lives there with his best friends, Everest and Baine. All three have rough pasts and are dealing with the fallout in their own ways. Interestingly, they all had feelings for Ember, so it's not surprising that they're quite happy the storm brought her to their doorstep.

So be prepared for a wonderful spicy christmas where Ember gets a lot of special attention.

An interesting dark romance - why choose with lots of psychological display.

I really love all the tropes; Why choose, Reversed harem, Forbidden Romance, Found Family, Trauma healing and many many more.

I enjoyed the way the spice and its development is written. It makes it feel so innocent. I find it hard to explain but I basicly mean that eventho its a why choose with 1 girl, 3 guys, it was all so gentle and it didn't feel wrong at all.

I like the psychological display and how it connected all of the characters together. The spice was really good because of its variety and descriptiveness.

For sensitive readers, be careful because this book starts of strong with a certain trigger warning. (rape)

Conflicting thoughts:
The writing style is less for me. I wasn't able to fully enjoy it.
I found it had a lot of repetitiveness when it comes to the usage of certain words and certain descriptions of feelings.

The characters are great but even there it was missing something, they were rather simple in my opinion.

I did enjoy reading it because I really loved the why choose here and its spice but the rest was kinda 'meh' for me.

Ember grew up in a messed-up household, and she was thinkin that goin to college was the freedom she longed for until her friend Bella took her to a party and she got assaulted by a star athlete and he threatens her. So now her world has been turned upside down until she decides to go home for Christmas, but the snowstorm changes that, and she goes to her stepbrother Koda's house instead, and his hockey friends are there too Baine and Everest. Their lives are very dangerous, and they wanna keep secrets from Ember cause they don't want her involved in their dangerous lifestyle. I absolutely loved this book. I love Koda, Baine, and Everest. I love how they love Ember. I loved the pics that are in the book. This is an amazing Christmas read.

This will certainly keep you warm this Christmas. It is off the charts spicy and mixed with the perfect storyline.  I can only hope that we see Koda, Baine, and Ev  again soon. They are hot, sweet, dominant, and just perfect.  I need more. 😅😅

I am super excited and thankful to the author for giving me the opportunity to be an ARC.

Let's start with telling you that maybe this book wasn't the right one for me, but even though I didn't connect with it, it doesn't mean it's not the right book for you.

From the beginning I had a hard time understanding certain things in terms of the narration and the transition of time, but as you get further into the book you can see an improvement in it.

I did feel that it was a little soft romance for my taste, it is true that it had certain themes that go a little dark and that is not for everyone, but they are themes that during the reading I don't feel that they go so deep. The spicy was also a bit soft, but with a lot of creativity.

One of the things that I really loved was the growth of the intimate side of the FMC. I loved seeing that no matter what happens we can heal the traumas that we go through during life, sometimes you just need a push and the company of the right person *cough cough* or rather people.

📍Do I recommend it?

If you are wanting to try something new this Christmas, maybe looking for new genres with a touch of something forbidden. No doubt this is the perfect book for you.

Just imagine several men, Christmas time and a lot of creativity when it comes to using Christmas decorations as something more than just decorations🤭.

I had to wait for a couple of days to start reading but this Saturday I got my physical copy of the book. And I have to say the wait was definitely worth it because this book was yet again a brilliant story by Kasey.

This story is filled with surprises, wonderful emotions, dark secrets and mostly complex main characters. This story will certainly keep you warm this Christmas because it’s spicy and mixed with the perfect storyline. The chemistry between the four main characters is absolutely fire, their banter is sharp, their connection is undeniable and the tension is amazing.

Ember goes through a traumatic event at a frat party without telling anybody about what happend except her best friend she doesn’t know what to do. With Christmas break coming up Ember leaves colege to spend the holidays with her mother and stepfather but the weather has different plans. So Ember finds herself at the doorstep of her stepbrother Koda and his two best friends house. The three men welcome her with open arms into their house, but what Ember doesn’t know is that all these three men carry some really dark secrets. But they are not the only ones who carry dark secrets with them Ember has some dark secrets of her own.

The spice in this story is absolutely amazing. With each men Ember has a different connection and they all bring something a little different to the dynamic in their relationship which is amazing.

Another banger from Kasey and this was just the perfect book for Christmas. I loved the dynamics that Ember and the boys had with each other, I also liked how in the book Kasey brought the attention on a specific topic that not a lot of authors I’ve seen talk about and it was definitely special when Ember opened up about it and how much support surrounded her when it came to tell the boys so that was really special. Overall this book was perfect for Christmas as I said and always a 10/10 for me when it comes to Kasey! Now do I highly recommend? HELL YEA! Ember, Koda, Baine, and Everest all have such depth to them, and each has their own backstory and struggles to overcome. you feel for them, and when they find their way and heal, it’s just amazing.

The chemistry between all four of them is sizzling hot, and their connection only grows stronger as they spend time together and help one another heal. I loved how Ember had special moments with each of the guys individually, it really made them all closer 🖤

Koda, Baine, and Everest each took time to take care of Ember, and she did the same for them. Ember emerged at the end confident, and not afraid to stick up for herself and take what she wants ❤️

The banter, tension, plot, and spice were all excellent and interesting, and had me eager to turn the page! The spice and plot were very well balanced and mixed together 🔥 I absolutely loved getting to read multiple povs and know each character’s thoughts.

this was another great read from Kasey, and i can confidently say that my mind will now wander when I see christmas lights 🤭

This book has officially become the Christmas romance I’ll be using as a benchmark for all my future holiday reads. What a story! I initially worried it might feel too heavy or dense, but the author wove the narrative so beautifully that by the end, I realized there wasn’t a single thing I’d want edited out. She delivered a story that was heartfelt, sizzling, and profoundly moving. Unwrapping Ember is a dark why choose romance that I couldn’t put down. This was my first book by this author and I was not disappointed. I loved the dynamic between Ember and the guys and that there was a nice mix of one on one and group scenes. This was such a perfect balance of sweet moments and spice that was sizzling hot. That last spicy scene surprised me and had me 🥵😮‍💨🤤 The storyline and set up made for such a fun and festive holiday read. I will definitely be reading more books by this author! 4.5⭐️

Kasey did it again with another spicy Christmas novella! I can’t get enough. This book was full of emotions, some secrets, and lots of spice.

Ember, our FMC, after struggling through something awful at school she goes home for Christmas break. But on her way there a snowstorm starts, so she decides to stop at her stepbrother’s to wait it out. This Christmas is one she definitely will not forget.

Koda, Embers stepbrother, lives with his two sexy friends, Everett and Baine. Each one of these men have something lingering in their past they are trying to overcome. And just maybe a Christmas with Ember is exactly what they all need.

The spice in this book is delicious! Each man has a different connection with Ember. Each one bringing something a little different to the dynamic relationship. But each one of them care for Ember and she returns the feeling.
