The book "The Disappeared " was a good read. I usually will absolutely love a book or totally drop it. In this case it was a slow starter, but in the end the pace and the depth of the story swept me along. If you are a Silo enthusiast, you'll meet some IT people of the lowest moral order you ever encountered in the Silo universe. On the way to the ending some characters you really care for, are going to end up in a bad way. And the bad guys, well, you've got to read the book. All in all I would recommend this book to anyone. But I promise, you need to read all you can of Hugh Howey's Silo series first. It is the foundation of all the fiction Hugh Howey has allowed others to spin off.
