Ever since I escaped my old life, I've been laying low, trying to forget my past and the magic that got me into trouble. But when the hottest monster rock band on the planet crashes into my life, begging for my help on their farewell tour, how can a girl say no?
Now I'm on the road with four irresistible creatures: Cal, the soft-hearted Orc who makes my pulse race faster than his drum beats; Micah, the empathic Nephilim whose voice isn't the only thing that leaves me breathless; Dorian, the mysterious half-Gorgon guitarist hiding more than just his eyes behind those shades; and Iri, the devilishly charming demon bassist who seems determined to break through my walls.
They want me to use my emotion-bending powers to amplify their shows. But as the tour heats up, so does the chemistry between us. Suddenly, I'm juggling magical mishaps, heart-pounding performances, and feelings I swore I'd never have.
I told myself I was done with magic, done with trusting anyone. But these four might just be the ones to make me believe in the power of love... and rock 'n' roll.

This was such a fun read.
The characters where the highlight for me, easy to love and super unique.
I loved the fmc path and growth.

That being said, I did find some minor mistakes in the timeline. I also think her age was messed up during the story and some things didn’t really add up.
But let that not hold you back, the story was truly wonderful.

3.5⭐️

I read this book as an arc and gave my honest opinion.

I just finished Wicked Harmony by Essie Suter, which is a monster romance with a reverse harem twist, and I have to say, it was such a sweet and fun read! The story follows a group of monster rockstars and the female protagonist, who joins them on their final tour, where love naturally blossoms.

What I really appreciated was that the male characters weren’t the typical rockstar jerks you often see in these kinds of books. They were genuinely sweet, which was refreshing. The female character's anxiety moments felt so real and relatable, and I thought the author did an amazing job portraying those emotions. Plus, the dialogue between the characters was hilarious—there were so many moments that made me laugh out loud!

That said, I do think the book could’ve been a bit longer. The characters’ backstories felt a little underdeveloped, which left me wanting more depth, and the world-building was pretty minimal. I would’ve loved to know more about the world they lived in. Also, a few of the steamy scenes were a bit awkward, to be honest.

Overall though, even with those small issues, I found the story engaging and full of charm. It was definitely an enjoyable and quick read that left me smiling!

It was a quick & fun read - I read it in a day! It’s like Lilac by B. B. Reid & any monster romance combined. It’s nice to have a standalone RH sometimes. The rockstars aren’t total assholes, which I appreciate. My biggest issues with the book were 1) I wanted more spicy scenes with multiple partners & 2) it wasn’t long enough! I definitely felt like there was more that could have been added/developed, but that’s a better thing than wishing it was shorter! I’m glad I got an ARC of this book!

Sin has magic. She had to use it to help mom and my "dad" to scam people out of their money. She has decided to take back her magic and not use it again. She is laying low until she meets a band that she can help while they are on the last tour. She meets Iri, Cal, Micah and Dorian to amplify the sound. She did not expect to fall for them. It is not just falling the love, the magic, the music.

"Wicked Harmony" was a surprisingly cute rockstar why choose. I would've never thought it would make sense to create rockstars with barely any experience with women, but the paranormal elements made it all work out perfectly. The way they fall head over heels for Sin was sirupy sweet, and I have to admit I loved every moment of it. Sin's power is a very interesting one, but all these characters have some kind of original characteristics to them, making this a fascinating paranormal story.

With this being a standalone, and not every relationship evolving at the same speed, the relationship building between Sin and Iri felt a little rushed towards the end. Still, this is a minor thing that didn’t take away my enjoyment of the story as a whole. Also, for those who don’t like MM, these guys only have eyes for their woman.

If you're ever looking for a palate cleanser with cute guys and a very interesting storyline, I can highly recommend this one. I went through this book at record speed, and ended the story with a big smile on my face.

Welcome to a magical world where humans, demons, gorgons, and orcs coexist! The story follows Saint, who can manipulate emotions with her magic. She escapes her troubled life under her stepfather, the cult leader known as the Herald, and assumes a new identity: Sinjin "Sin."

Fast forward five years, and Sin is discovered by the famous heavy metal band Orpheus Underground, who invited her to join them on tour for their final performances.

The band members are:
☆ Iri: The band leader and a demon 😈
☆ Micah: The lead singer who’s a Nephilim/Empath 🧝‍♂️
☆ Dorian: The half-Gorgon guitarist 😎
☆ Cal: The Orc drummer 🧟‍♂️

Sin hits it off with Cal and Micah right away, and their interactions are frequent as both seem to fall for her pretty quickly. But Dorian and Iri are a different story—Dorian’s first meeting with Sin is far from magical, and he keeps his distance, while Iri treats her like an employee rather than a potential love interest.

I was really intrigued by the fated mate concept between Sin and one of the band members, but it often felt like Cal and Micah monopolized her attention Their repeated encounters started to feel a little bit repetitive, and I wanted more relationship development with the other characters—especially early on! And since I got to read more of them, I bonded more towards Cal & Micah.

I have to say, the cover of this book is gorgeous and definitely drew me in! However, I felt like the story would have benefited from being a tad longer. The characters’ backstories seemed a little underdeveloped, which left me craving more depth, plus the world-building was pretty minimal. I would’ve loved to learn more about the magical world they inhabit. Also, I felt a few of the steamy scenes came off as a little awkward but enjoyable nonetheless.

Overall, even with these minor issues, I found Wicked Harmony to be an engaging and charming read. It was definitely enjoyable and quick, leaving me with a smile at the end! 😊

Thank you to Voracious Readers and the author for allowing me to review this book by providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

First off. I loved this book. It was genuinely a breath of fresh air after some of my more recent reads. It was easy to follow, well written, and I found myself falling in love with the characters.

Our FMC Sinjin, formerly named Saint, was the "adopted" daughter of a cult leader. A cult leader who used her amazing skills to fleece money out of people. Literally the moment that she could, she ran. Going into hiding, she spends a few years hiding in a backwater town that screams witness protection. This goes on for a few years until the band tracks her down for her unique skills, based on the vibes alone.

Enter our MMC'S Dorian, Iri, Cal and Micah. They are all monsters who joined together to form a band.

Push comes to shove, and Sinjin joins them on their final tour. But, not everything goes exactly to plan, and parts of her previous life collide with her current life (with the help of some of the mmcs =..=).

The story, it was fabulous. I could not put it down. The story was generally well written, but there are some missing factors that could have really immersed us into this world. First off, the author keeps mentioning that supes are supposed to be registered beings, and it is even used as a threat by Sinjins adopted dad. But we don't see any teeth to it or any real fear of being found out as being unregistered after she leaves. This could have been an opportunity for more story. Secondly, the guys drop hints at their backgrounds. I would have loved to have connected a bit more with their backgrounds, met the mothers/families that they talked about.. even in passing.

The characters were 3D, and we could connect to them pretty easily. Their general nature's added a lot to this story. The lack of over the top behaviour was really nice for a rockstar story.

I highly recommend it. 10/10 read.

First, I want to acknowledge the stunning cover. It looks to be the same artist as from her Outlaw Witch series (though I haven't verified). I think this is the singer of Orpheus Underground, Micah?

Onto the book itself. It was a quick easy read and I found myself easily invested in Sin\Saint's story. She's been part of her step-father's cult for years and escaped when she was in her late 20's. She has magic that manipulates emotions which she infuses into objects and lights to enhance feelings for his staged shows.

She drifts for years and is found by the agent of the band Orpheus Underground. Iri, the leader, has been searching years for Saint\Sin. He wants her to help amplify effectsfor their last world tour before retiring.

Through this, she meets the members of her harem:

Micah - a Nephilim that's the singer of the band. He is an empath and has trouble being overwhelmed with people's emotions.

Dorian - a half gorgon, guitarist, and it's definitely not a meet cute situation. Wears shades all the time. HA.

Cal - an Orc, drummer, sweet despite his appearance.

Finally,

Iri - the leader of the band, who is obsessed with Sin but doesn't understand that he's in love with her.

Plotwise it's relatively low angst with the stepfather issue a looming problem. Each MMCs get a distinct back story but i felt Micah & Cal's personalities felt too similar. With many RH stories, there's aways a holdout\last mmcs to join the harem fully, and it's surprisingly not who you would think it is.

I've pretty much read all of Essie Suter's RH series and have enjoyed all her works this one included.

Tropes:

Found Family
Fated Mates
Forced Proximity
Virgin MMC
Mixed species harem
Multi POVs

This book takes place in a magical world of humans, demons, gorgons and orcs living together.

Saint, who can manipulate emotions with her magic escapes her old life under her stepfather the Herald and cult leader and gets a new identity as Sinjin “Sin”.

5 years later she’s found by the world famous heavy metal band Orpheus Underground and asked to join them on tour and make their last performances special.

The 4 members are:

- Iri, the leader of the band and a demon

- Micah, lead singer and a Nephilim/Empath

- Dorian, a half Gorgon and guitarist

- Cal, an Orc and drummer

Sin immediately gets along with Cal and Micah and those encounters throughout the book happen the most, as both fall for her rather quickly.

Dorian and Iri hold back though and keep away from Sin. Dorian doesn’t meet her in a good way and no sparks fly there! Iri is the caretaker of everything and sees Sin as an employee.

I was really interested in the fated mate situation between Sin and a band member, but all we got were Cal hogging Sin whenever something happens and Micah just following her into the shower.

It became repetitive with those two and Sin and not enough relationship build up with the others until like the last few chapters.

I do have to say the cover drew me in and it’s beautiful!

MOOD: lighthearted, emotional, adventurous
TROPES: found family, slow burn, fated mates
GENRES: rockstar, monster romance

MAIN CHARACTERS: Sinjin Murphy (Saint Madison), Iri, Cal, Dorian, Micah

THE GOOD: All the characters have interesting backgrounds. The premise of a very popular band performing their last concert was intriguing. The way the individual relationships develop between Sin and the band members over the course of the story works really well.
THE NEUTRAL: Even for her background, at the age of 32, Sin comes across as really naive and childish at times. It felt way too easy for Sin to solve problems for 2 out 4 of the band members. There is no real explanation for the fated mates/mates thing and that broke my suspension of disbelief. Some character descriptions are also inconsistent - the one that I noticed the most was that Cal is described as being bald but later has hair in one scene.
THE MEH: There is very little music in a book about rockstars. Overall, the story felt like treading water. It had all the elements to be really good. There is even exploration of character backgrounds but it felt like there was no depth. Even moments that I was waiting for, which I thought were going to be the big conflict or drama, ended up being so-so.

CW: sexual content, violence

Wicked Harmony by Essie Suter was a wild, emotional ride — and I loved every second of it.

As a mom of three who’s been married 24 years, I don’t get a lot of “me time,” but when I do, I want a story that sweeps me away — and this one absolutely did. From the first page, the characters had me hooked. There’s something about a story where passion isn’t just about romance — it’s about dreams, music, and fighting for the life you want.

Essie Suter created characters that feel messy, real, and perfectly imperfect. I found myself rooting for them because they weren’t trying to be perfect — they were trying to be honest with themselves and each other, which is something I think anyone who’s been married (or just lived a little) can really appreciate.

The music world setting added such a cool, fresh vibe. It wasn’t just background noise — it felt like its own living, breathing part of the story. There’s heartache, hope, and moments that made me stop and just feel — which, as a busy Indiana mom, doesn’t happen every day!

If you’re looking for a story that’s equal parts edgy, emotional, and heartfelt, Wicked Harmony deserves a spot on your nightstand. Five stars from a mom who knows real love — and real life — when she sees it!

I love how in “Wicked Harmony” by Essie Suter it is a standalone rock star monster romance reverse harem novel. It was very well written and thought out. Sin is has been laying low ever since she escaped being exploited by her manipulative stepfather cult leader. Everything was going well until the hottest monster rock band on the planet crashes into her life, begging for her help on their farewell tour. Now that she’s on tour with the irresistible band she’s finding it hard to resist them. But will Sin be able to resist Cal, the soft-hearted Orc who makes her pulse race faster than his drum beats; Micah, the empathic Nephilim whose voice isn't the only thing that leaves her breathless; Dorian, the mysterious half-Gor-gon guitarist hiding more than just his eyes behind those shades; and Iri, the devilishly charming demon bassist who seems determined to break through her walls? If you want to know what happens I guess that you will have to read “Wicked Harmony” to find out what happens. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

🌶️🌶️ - medium spice

LOVES:
- This cover is beautiful. I mean look at it. 😍
- Sin’s experiences and background are very interesting. She’s dealt with a lot of trauma, but in a pretty healthy way.
- The guys are great, I like all four of them as individuals. There were some cool back stories for them, though I felt like I could use a little more at times.
- The epilogue does a good job of bringing everything together

CRITIQUES:
- The spice that’s there is good, but there’s actually less of it than I expected. In fact, there were times when it legitimately felt like it was missing…
- Sometimes it’s tough to feel the deeper connection between Sin and the guys
- Overall, it just felt like this needed to be longer. I was left wanting more in a variety of ways.

This was a cute story and I enjoyed it fine while I was reading it. But I kept expecting more to happen or certain things to be explained/dove deeper into and it didn’t happen. What was there was fine, but it needed more.

Thanks to @booksirens for the eARC 💝

This is a really fun standalone monster romance! The story follows Sin as she helps a monster rock band amplify the effects of their final tour. Sin has the ability to manipulate emotions; she embeds her magic into different items and creations to create euphoric feelings throughout the guys shows.

Each band member has a different relationship with Sin. Two of the members have an immediate connection to Sin which in turn meant they spent a LOT more time with her. I wish the story was a bit longer to help develop some of the backstories of the guys and also spend more time on the fated mates relationship (it felt a little rushed).

Overall the story was really good and the spice was just right! This was my first dive into monster romance and I was loving it!!

The goods:
🎸 Forced Proximity
🎸 Found Family
🎸 Why Choose
🎸 Multi-POV

This book was great! I loved pretty much everything about it. It was a quick and easy read with great characters and an intriguing premise. Plus, it was why choose, which is always a good time.

The story follows Sin as she comes out of hiding to go on the last tour of Orpheus Underground, an all monster rock band in a world where monsters have made themselves known. The band asks her to come along to help make the final tour great. Enter forced proximity and romance.

The relationships between Iri, Micah, Dorian, Cal, and Sin felt organic. Sin and two of the men are instantly taken with each other, while the other two guys took a while to get into it. That felt real and unforced. Once the characters were together, they were in it 100%, and the plot was well written and easy to follow.

Overall, you should read this book if you're looking for a low stakes, fast and easy read, and are into monsters and why choose.

Favorite Character: Micah. The nephilim lead singer. He has been through it but is still the sweetest male ever.

Favorite quote: "You're the whole damn life raft. You're a tropical island when we've been stuck at sea for a decade. A respite and a future." Iri

Wicked Harmony is a stand alone fantasy monster rockstar romance. After running away from the cult she grew up in, Sin changed her identity and has been hiding for the last 5 years. Her quiet and boring life gets turned upside down by an Orc, a Nephilim, a half-Gorgon and a controlling Demon. The last thing Sin expected was for them to purposefully seek her out to join them to make their final tour something to remember. Cal, Micah, Dorian and Iri are doing one last tour before starting a new chapter in their lives and they want to go out with a bang. This story is full of sass, banter, emotions, secrets, fears and spice!!! I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to see what Essie comes out with next!!! I received this from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Brilliant showcase of how to write a menage

This book is a fantastic example of Essie’s writing brilliance. The characters are unique and well balanced - both within themselves and between each other. The tension is satisfying, as is the progress and development of the relationships. The plot is well developed and supports the character arcs beautifully. I would have liked to spend more time with each of the pairings, but that wouldn’t be possible in this stand-alone story. If after reading this truely satisfying read, you feel the same, then check out Essie’s other multi-book series, as they have more time to explore each relationship, and are just as enjoyable.

Full disclosure: I was given an ARC of the book, however this review is my own honest opinion.

This was such a fun book. A world where monsters coexist with humans. A girl with special powers in hiding and a band that needs her help.

Sin had a lot of snark and I loved how her strength and determination come through. Her compassion and kind heart wins the men over without her having to try.

I am pretty sure my favorite is Cal … he is more than he appears and so sweet and loving… his protectiveness is fun and the way he manhandles Sin😂

Each of the men bring something she is missing and the fact that she doesn’t have to choose. .. I think Iri got way more than he was hoping for.

A fun book .. I am for sure going to add this author to my TBR list.

A total feel good, cozy vibes, monster why-chose story! I loved the whole rockstar story and how the guys met the FMC. I loved being immersed in this world and Sin, the FMC was my absolute favorite out of this book! It’s mostly character driven but it was so fun seeing them grow and evolve together.
The spicy scenes were kinda repetitive and I do think some could‘ve been left out at times and the story would‘ve still be as great.
I would‘ve loved to have a bit more action happening but the plot was more of a side issue and it felt, that the action at the end was made up last minute so that this could be used as the climax of the story.

I really enjoy reading Essie Suter books because they are always so interesting and different from the norm. This one is no different. Sin is hiding from her past until Orpheus Underground come knocking at her door. This book is so good I loved every page of it. The sexy times are monster, the storyline itself is great. Sin grows from hiding from the world with zero confidence to a smart confident woman who knows exactly what she wants and what she’ll do to get it.
This is a great book and I definitely recommend giving it a go.

I jumped at reading this story based on my love of the author's previous series. They use the same storytelling to create the immersive world of Sin and her monster band.

The story was an interesting ride. I liked the characters and how they helped Sin grow in her strength to take control of her life. Probably would still be hiding out in her little nowhere town if they hadn't come looking for her. They were just the push she needed. She, by being in their lives, brings them each something as well, which has a wonderful harmony to it.

I enjoyed this world and look forward to more stories in it.

A woman hiding from her past takes an offer to work with a monster band for their last tour. There is a perfect boyfriend for every reader in each band member. There were minor grammatical errors and I wish some of the character backgrounds were fleshed out (like, the FMC’s father is a complete unknown but she has some pretty impactful powers), but this was an engaging, fun read. There was low angst and lots of warm, snuggly feelings while reading this. And the ending was just perfect with closure for the FMC’s past and a HEA with the girlfriend meeting the family.

Thank you to the author and Voracious Readers for this e-ARC.

This book is awesome!

I wish I could give this more stars. This is such a fabulous book. The FMC was not annoying, and she didn't get mad about stupid stuff. Cal and Micah were wonderful, and I wish I had them in my life. I especially appreciated that there were no typos, grammar problems, or issues with the timeline. The monster aspect wasn't too front and center, which I appreciated. There was also really good character building. Finally, I'm glad it wasn't all spice!!! That happens a lot in reverse harems, where chapters are devoted to space scenes. It was just right! One more thing.... the cover is just spectacular!! It's what made me buy this book.

Wow. Just… wow. This story grabbed hold of me and didn’t let go until the end. Seriously. I love the FMC’s growth, learning her strength and sense of self after her strange upbringing. Also the unique powers that she has are fascinating!

The MMC’s were so sweet. There’s always one who’s less than nice in the beginning but you know how it is lol. Love how they were all about their lady and focused on her safety and happiness.

Great standalone read, totally give this book a shot! It was fantastic!

Loved this low angst monster Rockstar RH! Great story, engaging characters. I fell in love with each character seperately and just adore them. Steamy at times, fade to Grey at others.

Had me giggling like a school girl one minute, and melting the next. Great, fun easy read!

I would have given this book another star, but there were a few too many typos and odd words choices. This author would benefit from a solid beta reader to help clean some of it up.

I didn’t know I needed a monster rock band book in my life until I read this one. I loved this book, I enjoyed the story, the spice, the pace and the ending. The only thing I would have liked is a bit more background on the guys, you get a little bit about a couple of the guys but I’d like to know more about Micah and Iri. You also don’t get full descriptions of any of the characters so it’s quite hard to picture them. Still more than worth a read though.

Basically growing up in a cult, being used for her magic is what keeps our FMC in hiding. I think of her as a tinker, she takes apart and puts things together again, other things she builds from scratch. What a mind. Add some magic to her trinkets and you can guess why the scum cult leader wants her back.
When she is found by the band of monsters who searched for her a year? She feels drawn to them and tired of hiding in a podunk town.
Very enjoyable book. The guys are cool rock stars. Mates found.

CAL, MICAH, DORIAN, IRI, AND SIN

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

This story is the culmination of how one woman can be the glue that holds a group of four paranormal characters, an orc, a demon, a gorgon, and a Nephilim, together with her natural half-human, half-magical self. Sin isn’t proud of her past but she meets the group Orpheus Underground and bonds with its members and finds herself. This is a story that helps the readers understand what happens in society to those who feel like outcasts, no matter how famous they are.

This book is so darn sweet. I fell in love with every single character, but Sin took the cake as my favourite. Her talents and joy for what she creates despite her past made me cheer her on, and fall into the descriptions of what happens while they work. I wish it was possible for things like that to happen in real life. Thank you for letting me fall into this world and escape reality for a few hours!
