Binding the Five is the second in the First Living High Nymph series, and it will keep you on your toes!
The first, Electrifying Awakening sets the perfect stage. We meet Juno, a very spunky detective. Her world is turned on it head when she awakes her inner Nymph. She suddenly has powers (she is struggling to control) and five, yes FIVE titans. The first book is pretty necessary and leads into Binding the Five perfectly.

Back and better than ever!✨💜✨
I am in no way exaggerating when I say that some of the plot twists in book two sent me into my feels on several occasions.
The story picks up where Electrifying Awakening left off. Author, Sara Petrie, returns with a flavour and style all of her own and a quirky cast of characters that continue to delight. The mission is set and time is of the essence. Will Juno and crew fulfil the prophecy? For that you’ll need to read BtF, stat!
Honestly, this reader may never quite recover from the final chapters of Binding the Five. My heart is wrecked, questions abound and now I cannot wait to see where book three takes these much cherished characters.

A horny vampire, a grumpy dragon, a golden retriever husband and so much more! 5 mates, The Chosen One and a realm full of bad guys!
Binding The Five is book 2 of the First Living High Nymph trilogy, I recommend reading Electrifying Awakening first so you get the backstory of Juno.
Follow Juno on her path of self discovery, finding her titans, harnessing her powers and saving the world from The Darkness.
This book has it all; long buried secrets, combative magic training sessions, kidnapping, sacrifice, unexpected alliances and deep connections.
Strong MFC, great personalities for each of the titans- the descriptive nature of the story makes it so easy to visualise them and their unique language & dialects makes it easy to “hear” them.
I love how you get to see each and every side to the characters, showing their strengths & vulnerabilities. There’s lots of raunchy scenes throughout, so if spice is your thing then this is one for you.
Juno’s no-nonsense personality will have you cheering “you go girl” from the page numbers and boiling with rage at whoever was stupid enough get on the wrong side of her!
The story reads really well. There are busy chapters with lots happening and then it slows down a touch allowing the reader to process and prepare for the next WTF moment.
The Chosen One, multiple fantasy characters, restoring The Balance by taking on The Darkness. This is a must for any fantasy fan.

This was such a good continue to book 1!
I absolutely loved that there was a recap in the beginning which helped me to remember the main things I might have forgotten from book 1.
There were a lot of twists and turns that i absolutely didn't see coming! Some were more predictable but definitely not in a bad way. We definitely got answers to question risen in the first book which i was happy about but it also cheated the perfect setting for the next book!
Just like in book 1 the characters were well built and super interesting and the world multilayered. The spice was also on point haha. Absolutely enjoyed it. The plot had a nice pace to it all throughout the story! There is so much going on in this book and so many different emotions which make it so good without making it confusing which is amazing! Cant wait for book 3.

Sequel to Electrifying Awakening that delivered on all fronts!!
I got so many answers I was looking for and then some! The plot had me hooked. The world building and story building were perfectly balanced, in my opinion. The spice was great, too! Who can go wrong with a reverse harem of badass, horny supernatural men?!
I love that the world is being explored a lot more, and we are learning more about all the different species.
I have so many more questions about the darkness, Dracula, and even about Juno's kids. I am really looking forward to book 3!! I can't wait to see how everything wraps up!!

Um, excuse me? 5 Fated Mates? And 100 Twists. Exaggerated. Or is it? Exhilarating.
I couldn't put it down. She is a thick one at 500+ pages, but there was still not enough. I want more.
Juno and her Mates try to save the world. Vampires, shifters, blood witches. Who can you trust. Petrie throws you into the thick of it and leaves you there. Why? The action and turns in the last 1/4 of the book will leave you reeling with the urge to jump off that metaphorical cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the final chapter of this trilogy.

Yes I finally made it😂😂
I had struggled with the book first because of rico pov. Really had to learn to read out of his eyes instead of juno her eyes🙈.
But I totally loved this book and would recommend it to everyone!!!! Character development was on point they all grew and not stay stuck on one point!
Can’t Waite to read book 3 the last one in this series😭😭😭🫂🫂

Just when you thought Sara Petrie's Electrifying Awakening, couldn't be rivalled, along comes Binding the Five, the second book in the Living High Nymph trilogy. If you haven't read the first book, Electrifying Awakening, you must! It is a must-read, firstly because it is fantastic and introduces you to Juno, her Titans, and begins this addictive journey but also so that you can get to this next incredible part of the story. I truly love them both and will no doubt do a reread of both before Book 3. Go back and read my review of EA to catch up on the context of the story so far.
Binding the Five is a why-choose urban fantasy with some of my fave tropes such as found family, touch her(and him) and 💀, Chosen one/prophecy. You HAVE to read it, as simple as that.It is such a ride and made me feel ALL the feels. I laughed, I cried (sobbed even at certain moments), my heart melted and raced in the spicy moments, I angsted often for each and every character in Juno's blood family and found family. I was so immersed in this world as I read, and in moments of quiet, I still find myself in thought about the story and the characters.
Sara Petrie's writing is perfection. Binding the Five uses multi POVs with such authenticity that I felt genuinely connected to each of the main characters. The world building has exactly the right balance for the mix between the urban world and the fantasy realms that Juno and her Titans are trying to save from destruction by the Dark Titans and Sargeras.
I adore Juno. Her unique sense of humour (I call them Juno-isms) in those tense moments is hilarious, and exactly what I imagine would run through my own head. Her devotion to her family and those who can't defend themselves and her love for her Titans, along with her badass purple magic, make her one of my fave FMCs. Her gorgeous Titans are built for reader fantasies, each having their own complexities, but their touch her and 💀 compulsion for Juno heightens those spicy moments. The range of side characters such as Nozzi, Teranis, Crazy, the fabulous Queer Cheer devotees Anne and Pete, and Juno's beautifully wise children also add depth.
The twists in the plot are at times like playing a game of Twister after downing one too many Pink Fluffy Unicorns (if you know, you know) and that ending!!!
Let's just say that it nearly broke me and stays with me. I need the final book in the trilogy now, but Sara Petrie deserves a well-earned break after producing this 5 star stunner!

this was EPIC! I loved every page, every twist and I laughed til I peed too many times. the way suspense, sad moments and hilarious situations and phrases are mixed is incredible.

I thought book 1 was riddled with plot twists, but this book!! it had everhthing. also, I was a huge fan of Rico as he's from Berlin, but now I'm craving them all. the way Sara crafted background stories for each of the mates is amazing and I loved learning about the plots and turns in juno's own childhood! it explains so much and I love how as a reader you understand Juno more and more as the story progresses.

Truly exciting, sara lifted the story to a whole new level with epic plot twists, intriguing characters that kept developing and surprised me on several accounts.

After the first book, I was so comfortable in the story that I started the second book right away. I finished that one quickly as well. The story went differently than I expected and the problem is that now I have to wait for part 3. Hope it comes out soon.

Intense
This is probably the most emotionally intense book I’ve ever read and not simply with love and sex emotions. It touches fully on what it might feel like to bear the burdens of the world and the sacrifice it might take in order for life to continue.
