Great addition to the series!

I loved Stranded by E. Davies. It's the second book in the Sunrise Island Brothers series. I loved Alph and Ronan's story. I loved how they met and how Ronan ends up as Alph's roommate. I loved the flirty banter. It did feel as though Alph was older then his mid twenties. I kept picturing him more along the lines of thirty-five, but maybe he was just an old soul. Either way, I loved how supportive Alph was and that he understood how important Ronan's classes were and how Ronan didn't have a lot of time for a relationship, and that Alph was willing to wait for him. I look forward to reading the next book in the series when it comes out.

Ronan has been catfished by his nasty roommates. Stranded on an island and desperately worrying about serial killers (he’s a bit dramatic), he get rescued by a beautiful man. A straight, beautiful man. Who he accidentally kisses.

Alph (Alfonso) sees Ronan acting crazy on the beach and decides to rescue him. Hence the accidental kiss that actually rocked Alph’s world. He doesn’t know offering Ronan a place to stay for the night will change his life.

This was a very sweet, happy book. Light drama, just overall enjoyable.

I admit I almost stopped reading when the two MCs first met. It was a lot of insta, and Alph seemed almost too sweet. It's not that the writing was bad. I just had other books I was wanting to read, but I'm so glad I didn't quit! This book was incredibly sweet, but Alph was only the best kind of sweet with both personality and a spine. These two were too cute and you absolutely fall in love with the island. I would move there tomorrow! Also one of the more satisfying endings I've had in a while. Not just an HEA, but it felt good all the way around. And finally character growth without them having to start off as awful human beings. Definitely recommend.

This was another great E. Davies book. Ronan was full of stress and frustration as he finds out that his roommates are utter jerks. Stranded on Sunrise Island, he meets Alph who jumps right in to help him out. I loved their relationship. Even though there was attraction and a desire to be together, the two of them focused on themselves while developing a great friendship. I loved when they finally came together. It felt honest and the journey was so worth it. This was a total feel good book with awesome characters.

Super sweet

Alph and Ronan are so good together and work well as friends and lovers. I think that this story has a good mix of humor, compassion, love, respect, perseverance, tension, and happiness. The main characters treat each other like intelligent adults and don't get hung up in the moments of angst. I love it when characters are mature enough to give others a chance instead of jumping to incorrect conclusions.

This is a super sweet read that you should check out. You don't need to read book 1 to enjoy this one.

After a very bleak experience of literally being “stranded” Ronan finds the gift of a lifetime, Alph. Immediate attraction is great but finding a future is what these two begin. A story of hurt and happiness. A story where justice is served and good really does win. Loved the m/c’s, disliked, immensely, the villains and adored their happy ending. A story that leaves you happy and smiling. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

Sweet and uplifting

Ronan is struggling to keep his head above water, literally and figuratively.
When he ends up in dangerous waters on Sunrise Island skipper Alph comes to his rescue.
A grateful kiss from Ronan sparks a wildfire in Alph who's never been attracted to men.
I loved his simple and easily Alph accepted his attraction and just wanted more of Ronan and to protect him.
Ronan really needed someone to be his rock and keep him afloat.

I think I could love island life if it comes with people like Alph and his friends and family. A stranded Ronan is desperate and is happy to be rescued. Alph is fascinated by Ronan and offers his assistance and a place to live. As Ronan works towards his future, Alph gives him a secure place to land. These two are adorable and the happily ever after was too cute.

Ronan is catfished & gets Stranded on Sunrise Island. Alph finds him in distress near the water. Thinking the worst Alph comes to his rescue. Ronan later finds out it was his room-mates who catfished him moves out & Alph gives him an apartment so he can finish school. Sparks fly but Alph wants Ronan to concentrate on school. A strong love/friendship developes. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Ronan feels a little like everything is sinking or blowing up around him. Alph is there with an option for Ronan to get away and focus on creating art. There is so much that makes you feel in this story that I cannot even attempt to put it into words. Just know that this is an amazing story that only E. Davies could write.

As much as I disliked Ronans roommates, if it wasnt for them, Ronan and Alph wouldnt have met. Ronan wouldnt have saw value in himself and his ideas, he would have faded into the family business. Alph wouldnt have remembered his love of being a tour guide, perhaps he would have met someone else... but he probably would have followed his usual pattern.

Like the first book in the series, this story also had a sudden sexual awakening, but the couple in this book actually took a decent amount of time getting to know each other before officially becoming boyfriends. Or at least the readers are told that a semester of fashion school is passing by even if the book itself is still on the shorter side.

Ronan is stranded because of his crappy roommates and worried about his grades. Life stinks at the moment until Alph, the skipper, who says that he is straight but, when he rescues Ronan and "the kiss" that changes everything.

This is another amazing story by E Davies. I love Ronan and Alph! I felt for Ronan because of his evil roommates. Which is why I just love Alph and how he helps Ronan. I just love their relationship and just how it develops. Such an amazing journey with these two.

Great storyline, well crafted with solid character development and a decent plot. It’s a great morale booster of a book, with some entertaining episodes and a slow growth romance, plus the requisite happy ever after ending we all enjoy.

Sweet story and characters

Very charming story with very little relationship drama, but some big drama in an another way. It’s a rather unique. And Alph is such a cinnamon roll!
