Cassy has a gem with this book!!! I absolutely loved it from start to finish, even though I wanted to punch a certain character for what she did. No spoilers from me!!! A lot of erotica books mirror Fifty Shades of Grey, but this one DOES NOT! It has its own story line with a lot of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat! Ashley goes through so much in this story, but she always tries to find the good in something around her. Dominic was VERY unexpected for her, but VERY needed. Both of these characters are one's you will fall in love with, and get angry at, along with the secondary ones. Can't wait for book 2!

WTH!!! I had no idea this book was a cliffy!
I need Book two NOW!........
Ashley is 25yrs old and married to her high school sweetheart. She works 2 jobs supporting her husbands dream of becoming an attorney. She has out her schooling and dreams on the back burner. There marriage is on the rocks and she finds him cheating on her with his secretary. Ashley's best friend Kelly invites her that night to a grand opening to an exclusive club, The Celtic Knot. Ashley decides to go and was very surprised that it is a BDSM club. She has always had a vanilla sex life with her ex husband, but deep done she know she needs and wants to break out of her shell.
The owner Dominic, pulls her up on stage for a lesson. The attraction between them was instant. Dominic wanted Ashley. He wanted her to be his submissive. Dominic offers Ashley a submissive training class where he would train her. Ashley was Leary at first bc she just got out of a divorce and wasn't looking for a relationship. Dominic assures her hes not looking for a relationship, he just wants to teach her new things and let her be pleasured. During the process Dominic can't get enough of Ashley and he doesn't like the shit he's feeling for her. He has never in his life cared for a woman or showed any affection to one.
But with Ashley it's different. He starts pushing Ashley away as his feelings started getting stronger for her. He was hot and cold with her and it started confusing her as well.
She knew they had a connection and she was feeling more.
During this time the club gets vandalized and gets threatening notes regarding Ashley. Dominic goes in protective mode and does everything he can to keep her safe.
Around this time was when I was drawn to book. It had a lot of twist and turns and was a pulled into the story. Right when things were getting good the book ended. With a cliffy!!!
Overall, I got into the story about half way in. I did find it hard that she agreed to go out the same night she catches her cheating husband and how sudden she agreed to the training so quick after her divorce. Other than that it was a good read. Dominic is a bossy, hot Dom!
He is kinky and seeing him open up to Ashley makes you love him!
The ending will leave you mad and crazy!:)

3.5 Stars...
I bought Ashley's Bend because it was on sale and I saw BDSM in the description. That's all it took. Yes, it's that easy to get me to one-click a book. :) When I bought my copy I also gifted a copy to my book buddy. I had no intentions of reading this book just yet because I had other books I needed to read first. But.. After some convincing from my book buddy and a few pictures of the text I decided that I had to read it now.
I was up till 1 AM trying to read as much as possible. I must add in the midst of this I was kicked out of my bed because apparently my light was keeping my fiance up. Blah to him. The book was more important. HA! I finally decided to go to bed because I have kids and a cranky mommy is no good. Getting up in the morning I proceeded to take every spare moment I had to read more. Finally finishing then searching Amazon and Facebook for news about the second book. A book I NEED NOW!
So your probably wondering why I need a book so bad but I marked this one with 3.5 stars. Let me start with the things that I loved. Dominic is AMAZING. I could eat him up several times over. He's sexy, dominant, and sweet. I want a real life Dominic. I loved Knox too. Two sexy as sin men in one book. I'd be happy with a real life Knox too. Oooo.. Ashley I loved till towards the end. I understand why she did what she did but I was still pissed at her for doing it. Dumb decision made by her. UGH! The sex scenes in this book ROCKED!! They were so hot they made your heart race and breathing increase like it was you in the book. Yes, please! I'd take her place. :) Ashley's Bend grabs you from page one and doesn't let you go until you are on your knees at the end praying for book two on Amazon.
On to the reasons that got me. To start off I think the author needs a second editor or maybe a proofreading. This is not to be mean. There were a lot of words that should of became contractions. When you don't make certain words into contractions it can slow down the reading pace and the flow of the story.
On top of that there were some spots that were a little yawn worthy. Parts in the book that probably could of been taken out and it wouldn't hurt the book at all. Due to these two things I ended up skimming a good portion of the book just to get past it.
Now those two things didn't ruin the book for me. I still truly enjoyed it. I have fallen in love with the characters and really want to know what happens next. I will be stalking the author to find out the release and grabbing my copy ASAP.

I had such high hopes for this book - the blurb and reviews sounded great! And the book started out really good. But then it just fell apart for me. I'm rating this book 2.5 stars.
Ashley's marriage is crumbling, and when she walks in on her husband banging his secretary on his desk, that's it. Her friends convince her to go to a new club with them, and she decides its a good way to forget her sorrows and begin her new life. Once there, she discovers its a BDSM club. She catches the eye of owner Dominic, a man who is determined never to have a relationship - just sex. And so it begins.
There were so many opportunities for this to be a great story, and the author kept passing them by with unbelievable events. To name a few, I can forgive some suspension of belief if I like the characters and the rest of the story is good. But Dominic was a jerk. He's another one of those guys who wants what he wants, with no respect to the feelings of the girl. Since he doesn't do relationships, she should be fine just f**king when he wants. His reason for not doing relationships also seemed farfetched.
Finally, the way this book ended was also not believable and ITS A MAJOR CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!

Ashley's Bend was amazing. Cassy Roop is an author to watch out for. She knows how to weave a kick ass story. I can't wait to read more of her work. If you haven't read this yet, it's a must buy. Check it out.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I have read a TON of BDSM books and Ashley's Bend is one of the BEST! You get hot, sweaty, dominant sex; but with that comes the drama, the healing, the surrender, and so so much more! I loved how both Dominic and Ashley's POV flowed effortlessly with each other, so we always felt a part of the story. But HOLY CLIFFHANGER… I need the next book NOW!

This is book one in the Celtic Knot

So basic rundown of this book... Ashley Carter gave up her young adult life for
another person, her high school sweetheart turned husband. She worked why he
went to school, then off to work. Never doing for herself. Even after walking in
on her cheating bastard of a husband, she gave him everything. Her best friend
dragging her off to a club the same night she finds her husband clubbing his
secretary she meets mouth watering, muscle bound, glorious hotty Dominic
Michaels. The club she enters is not your typical booty bouncing (well, in music
club standards), music bouncing off the walls club. No, no this club is non
other then a BDSM club. After meeting Ashley, Dominic is going to get his fill
of her and let her walk because he doesn't do relationships and actually has
never had one. His past dictated to him a long time ago that love is a cruel
punishment and nobody should ever lose themselves in another person so
significantly that they lose themselves.
Ashley has decided that her life is hers to take back and do the unexpected of
her, so she agrees to be Dominic's sub. Can she really do something that's not
really in her nature? She's not sure but what she is sure of is that she wants
to fix whatever is broken in Dominic that has him running from her at every
intimate moment between them. Something wicked this way coming because Ashley
finds herself in an impossible situation and she's not sure how to handle it. So
she does the unthinkable.....
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *HAPPY DANCE* *5 STARS* *STANDING OVATION* Have I
forgotten anything because let me say, I LOVED THIS FREAKING BOOK!!!! There I
said it, whew I feel better. I was thinking when I started this that it was
going to be a typical BDSM book, meaning everything was going to be about the
kink. While there is certainly not a shortage of hot sexy situations it wasn't
all about that. I am not by any means submissive but I would be willing to sub
for Dominic. HE IS HOT and I would love to...well you can imagine. I liked that
even though Ashley was being a submissive to Dominic, she was not submitting to
him. She held her own against him and his mood swings. He acted like a child and
needed to have his ass smacked around a little (pun intended and Ashley was more
than willing to help.
I was shocked at the twist in the book and let me tell you I am drooling for the
next book. I am so pissed at Ashley right now (no I won't tell you). I
understand why she thinks she dad to do it, but I am no less pissed because
everyone has choices. She made a bad one and I'm not exactly sure how she's
going to get out of this one. I was a little taken back by the formal writing
but I got over that.
Read this book and enjoy all the fun that I did. I wait impatiently for the next
round of Dominic and Ashley.

Holy hell, this book had it all from the first page to the last Cassy Roop knew how to pull me in. And it wasn't just the hot as hell sex scenes that will kickstart your libido and cause you to sit around all day with wet panties, it was so much more.
Ashley Carter has been married for 7 years. She knew she loved Jared in High School so when they graduated it seemed like the logical thing to do, get married. Well ... unfortunately marriage isn't always wine and roses and while Jared's good to her in the sense that he takes care of her, he has basically put her wants and needs for the future on hold. She's ready to have a baby but he's trying to build his reputation up at the firm he's signed on with. Ashley tries to take life into her own hands when she finds her husband "balls deep" in his Secretary which is sprawled out on his desk like a feast. Mortified and determined that this will not break her, she heads off to meet friends for a night that will change her life forever.
Dominic is a very wealthy and ultra successful owner of a string of sex clubs. He's also a Dominant. He only believes in Dom/sub relationships and has successfully managed to keep himself closed off emotionally to all women. He believes love to be the ultimate black hole and refuses to let himself get close enough to someone to get burned. That is until a blonde, doe eyed, delicious beauty that he can't take his eyes off walks into his club on opening night and completely rips his world apart.
From Chapter 2 this book is scorching HOT! Like, sitting on the sun, makes you need a couple of cold showers and definitely don't read it while you're on your lunch break at work! But like I said, the story is not just about hot sex, its about a connection between two people that is unexplainable. The kind that rocks you to your core and makes you seriously rethink what you know about yourself. It's about losing control when you're so sure that if you let go you'll surely be left aching of a broken heart in the end. I absolutely adored Dominic and Ashley. I even love Knoxville "Knox" and Kelly together, I'd love to see their story. I know that Cassy is currently writing Figure Eight (A Celtic Knot #2). I don't yet know if that story is the continuation to Dominic and Ashley's story or if it will folllow Knox and Kelly instead. I will warn you, I was left completely bereft at the end of this story and I don't want to catch you off guard but there is a HUGE cliffhanger at the end and I felt like I was dangling on the edge ... I need more now is all I have to say about that and I can't wait for the story to continue. I hope each of you will pick this one up and read it again and again ... buckle up, it's gonna be one sexy, invigorating ride that you won't want to get off of.

This is my 5 star review for Ashley’s Bend by Cassy Roop for Eskimo Princess Book Reviews.

I really liked Ashley’s story. I felt that it was exciting and entertaining. Ashley was strong and never gave up on herself, well for the most part. I can admit that she did make a few bad choices but I guess we will see what the consequences of those bad decisions are in the next book. I really hate that the book left us hanging the way that it did. The plot caught me by surprise. I was NOT expecting things to lead where they did. I found a few editing issues that I had to work through but I did not let it interfere with my assessment of the content of the book.
If you like BDSM then this book would be a good choice for you! I look forward to reading more from the author and more about the people of The Celtic Knot.

Oh Dom. Dominic. How I love thee knots!
I'm totally floored with Ashley's Bend! Don't even get me started on the ending! My mouth is still hanging open. Well Done Cassy, well done.
I'm imagining Cassy sitting in her chair with a maniacal laugh, rubbing her hands together... HA!
Ashley's Bend surprised me. I had no idea the direction I was being taken to, it started out pretty well, centering around a BDSM club and a young woman who is finally given the keys to a free life. A life that would be for her. Then she meets Dominic, who is out of this world sexy. Dominic. Who does and says things like,
" You look so f@cking hot right now, Ashley. I am dying to be inside you, and I will soon. I will own you, Ashley. I want to f@ck you in so many ways, you will beg me to stop, and when you do, I am going to f@ck you even harder and you will only cum when I allow you to." --Cassy Roop
Uh, kinda forgot my train of thought. Yes, I've got it. Plot lines. Pretty good. But Cassy throws a loop in there and now you're traveling down the suspenseful rabbit hole, with an inkling of what may happen then BOOM! Bomb is dropped and you're hanging on like What just Happened?!
Ashley's Bend has a good flow and I got good and comfy with how Dominic and Ashley started to find their way, free from demons only to come to a screeching halt.
I'm not even going to get into it about the heat factor in this book. Let's just say that I was actually panting at some points... HOT! Cassy Roop can write an awesome BDSM scene, come one, the BDSM club's name is Celtic Knot. Enough said!
Let me say thank GAWD there will be a book 2! I really need to know what happens in the next chapter!!

So I met Cassie in Cincinnati, and after meeting here and seeing how awesome she was, I wanted to read her books. I mean..that's why we go to author events, right? So I picked up Ashley's Bend knowing Figure Eight comes out soon.
I can tell you this...I should have read this earlier. But then.. then.. I would have been waiting for Figure Eight. Let's be honest.. I am NOT a patient person. So.. I read them back to back.. sooo good....
Okay..so let me get down to my review. When the book started, I started out feeling bad for Ashley, for what she walked into..literally. Then immediately I followed her emotions through the book- nervous, anxious, excited. I mean who wouldn't get excited when reading about DOMinic. <--- see what I did there??? ..
So Ashley meets Dom and Knox and thus begins our tornado of emotions. Honestly, that's what it is. From the moment they meet, it's a whirlwind. Their, and your, emotions will be all over the place with these two. Then you add in Jared and Asher...and HOLY CRAP.. can we say shit storm? For reals... Shit. Storm. There is SO much drama going on. However, it's not one of those books where you feel overwhelmed with drama and you loose sight of the characters. Actually, it's the opposite. Because of everything that is going on, you get a deeper look at the characters, they become more of the forefront of the story...just like it should be. Cassie does a great job of getting you sucked into the story right from the beginning and writing a story you can't help but empathize with, all the while wanting to track down a club in your area...or a Dominic in your area..maybe even a Knox. Either way, I wasn't disappointed with this story.. not even with the cliffhanger ending, and we know how I hate those!

This BDSM themed series is a hit for me. Let's start from the beginning. I love when books have a name that cleverly sneaks into the book at some point. I am glad I did not read the synopsis before reading the book(I more often than not don't). I did not know what Ashley's Bend was before I started reading, so when it came up in the story I was awed.
The characters in this book are all captured beautifully. Ashley, is a sweet, small town girl that we get to watch evolve throughout the story. Dominic, in short, is a total sex pot! He is the perfect dominant; tall, muscular, handsome and tough but with a sweet spot deep down. Together, they are red hot! The villain, I actually picture to have a pointy beard and horns he's so repugnant! Kelly and Knox, the best friends, were awesome supporting characters and I hope they get their very own book to tell their story.
Reading Ashley's Bend I found a little bit of every genre within its pages. There were points I was laughing, others I was hot and bothered from the erotic scenes and some suspenseful, edge of your seat moments as well. Ashley's Bend is well written and the only complaint-ish thing I would say was that a few phrases reminded me of FSOG. That being said, I will also admit that since FSOG that happens with every BDSM I read, so it may have just been me. This story will definitely leave you wanting more! Luckily, we won't have to wait too long as the next installment is in the works! When I read the last page of the book I was left with my mouth on the floor in disbelief. Get to the cave Author Cassy Roop, I need some closure!

Ashley thought she had the perfect life until she caught her husband cheating on her. She had put her life to the side burner while her husband had followed the career path that he wanted. She'd given up everything.
Her friend has an invitation to an exclusive new club in town and in order to take her mind off of everything she decides "what the hell" and goes. She was NOT expecting the new club to be a BDSM club.
That's where she meets Dominic. He makes her feel things she's never experienced with another man. She had no idea that she could feel this way towards another man. Especially not so soon after finding her husband cheating on her. Though her and her husband had been drifting apart as he worked long hours at the office. Long hours banging his secretary more like it.
Ashley decides to throw caution to the wind and finally concedes to Dominic's relentless pursuit to get her to sign up for the submissive training class at the club.
That's when things get wild as she discovers who will be her trainer.
She's not sure if she can give her his heart and he's not sure of the same exact thing, but both are willing to give it a try.
But something happens both inside and outside the club that causes Ashley to have to do what she can do save her friends as well as Dominic, but it's still at the cost of betraying him.
This book definitely has a cliffhanger. I'll warn you, but it was totally worth the read! I cannot wait for Figure Eight!

This book was so AMAZING that it's taken me a few days to post it...since I still don't know exactly what I want to say...
First of all...GET THIS BOOK AND READ IT!!! This book will take you on an incredible journey in both his and hers POV!!
Ashley was the innocent and sweet small town girl all of her life...that's until she moves to Chicago and her life gets turned upside down. When her friends invite her to the exclusive club opening of The Celtic Knot...her true journey really begins
Dominic, owner of The Celtic Knot is a Master Dominant in the bedroom as well as every other aspect of his life...the only thing he doesn't have control of is Ashley...
Dominic is HAWT!! The man is smoking and I could not get enough of him. One quote in the book in particular, really puts it into perspective.... "Oh, honey pie, I would lick the tires of that man's car if he asked me to. Have you seen him? All hunky beefed up muscle. Don't even get me started on his gorgeous eyes and hair. Oh, and his ass could crack walnuts!" Yup, that about sums up Dominic...I need more!!
The secondary characters were just as awesome! Kelly & Knox are the perfect sidekicks and I'm really hoping these two will have their own book as well!!
This book is a series and there is one serious cliffhanger that left me with one of the biggest book hangovers I've had so far this year, but it was absolutely worth it!!

This is a MUST read book! I absolutely loved it. It wasn't my normal read, but boy was I drawn to the story from the very beginning and had the hardest time putting it down until I was done! The author is simply brilliant! She kept me on the edge of my seat. She has such detail that made the book seem real, the characters seem real, I felt for her characters, hell I even felt like I was apart of the story! I rate this book 5 stars. Can I just start off by saying how much I loved Ashley’s Bend, wow! I got to the end and I was crying and I wanted to punch someone, preferably Cassy Roop for leaving me with a cliffhanger. But it was redeemed by a sneak peek into Book #2 Figure Eight. I gave this book 5 stars. It had me hooked from the first chapter. I knew that when Ashley found her husband cheating, I had to know what happened. This is an awesome read and I highly recommend it. The cover is gorgeous and clearly depicts the image I have of Ashley Carter and she is exactly what I pictured. It is well written and will keep you highly intrigued.

Honestly, I thought the bad guy was one person, and to find right in the end it was someone totally different was just jaw dropping, slam the book down and scream "NO!!!" And then BAM! Cliffhanger, baby! But what a cliffhanger. I did not see it coming. I honestly don’t know why or where it’s coming from and I need more!!

I was lucky enough to get to read this book prior to publication. All I can say is get ready to sit down and not get up until you're finished! This is a story about 25 year old Ashley, who married her high school sweetheart and gave him everything only to find him cheating on her with his secretary. Ashley's best friend Kelly talks her into going to the grand opening of The Celtic Knot, an exclusive by invite only club. Much to Ashley's surprise, it is a BDSM club and she has caught the attention of Master Dominic, the owner. Dominic was not happy when he found out that Ashley was not a submissive. As hard as he tried, Dominic could not get her off his mind. The electricity between them is too much to ignore so he asks her to come to the submissive training class where he plan to do her training. He thinks this will cure his need for her, but it only makes it worse. He keeps pushing her away as his feelings grow because he doesn't allow himself to feel or do relationships. Ashley is now divorced and finding herself fighting feelings she has never felt before. Will Ashley and Dominic be able to find love, or will something come between them. You must read this book! Ashley's Bend is filled with lots of steamy sex, danger, betrayal and one heck of a cliffhanger ending leaving you begging for the next book!

Determined to finally life life for herself she goes to a club opening with her best friend, what she wasn't expecting was it to be a BDSM club or that she gets called on stage to help with a demonstration.
Dominic doesn't allow for anything with a woman beyond the bedroom and even then he's in complete control. Don't ask him why he changed things up and decided to use a guest instead of a house sub but it could be the best...or worst decision he's ever made. Something about this woman knocks everyone of his walls down. But with the mess her life is in is Ashley even worth it or does he even have a choice in the matter?
Ashley doesn't let even the worst thing that's ever happened to her get her down for long. She's strong and determined and doesn't let people talk down to her no matter how intimidating they might be. Dominic is the alpha with a horrible past and I loved seeing him come out of his shell . The two together are magnetic and the sex between them is explosivly HOT. The story keeps you on your toes and if you think you know how things are gonna go you'll be wrong. The end is one you never see coming and the cliffhanger is Pure Evil!!! Definitley on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one.

Wow this story is crazy good, hot, and has a ton of twists and turns, oh and a pretty big cliff hanger… But don’t let that stop you from reading this amazing book!
We meet Ashley as she catches her husband cheating on her and her friends taking her to the Celtic knot, a new club, for the night. What Ashley doesn’t know is the Celtic Knot is a BDSM club! When Ashley is brought up on stage for a demonstration by the sexy Dominic she’s turned on and also a little scared.
Dominic doesn’t do relationships, at all, like ever! But he cannot get Ashely out of his head. There is something about her that intrigues and scares him.
Their relationship is all kinds of hot as well as good and bad. I loved Knox and Kelly and their roles during this story, and can’t wait to see what happens with those two as well. Just when things between Ashley and Dominic are going great, Ashley has a choice to make, and that choice is heartbreaking.
I won’t say what happens, or that it didn’t hurt to see what these characters go through, but wow! This was a great book! It had a great story line and a hot as sin Dom!

This is book one of the series. Ashley married her high school sweetheart, Jared, and even though things haven't been perfect lately she still wants to make the effort. She decides to surprise him with dinner at the office when he tells her he has to work late. She shows up to see him banging his secretary. She determines right then that she is sick of wasting her life for him and heads to her friend Kelly's for the night. Kelly and Trinity are getting ready to go to the Celtic Knot for a hot night of girls night fun. Ashley goes with them not knowing that the Celtic Knot is a BDSM club. Dominic is the manager of the Celtic Knot and every night he gives a lesson to the club members. After spotting Ashley in the crowd he determines that she will be his model for that evenings demonstration. What ensues is both of them feeling a strong attraction to the other. He comes to her aide after her ex-husband threatens her. He comes to her aide with his friend and assistant Knox when a club member attacks her. However, it is not just a simple love story. Soon Knox and Kelly begin to explore their feelings as well. Soon enough more trouble brews and Ashley is forced to give up everything or risk having everything taken from her. I cannot wait for the next book. This one was hot, steamy and action packed!!

THAT said, i will look out for the next books, because i soooooooooooooo need to see how this will pan out, the relationship between Ashley and Dominic, also between Kelly and Knox.

OOOOOOWEEEEEE!!! This book had me squeezing my thighs together on more then one occasion! Talk about HOTNESS!!! An author knows how to write about BDSM when she has her readers blushing from just reading a story! This story had the perfect amount of drama mixed with hot sex. What more can you ask for!?!?! Some people build walls around their heart not allowing themselves to feel love because of their past. Some people are just dramatic and all you want to do is roll your eyes for them building those walls. Well not Dominic, his story was heartbreaking and made me clutch my check when I read it. This gorgeous was taunted by his past and he didn't know how to let it go till one day he meets Ashley and after 20 years the wall starts to crumble right before his very own eyes. It was amazing to read their story and how they both helped each other out of the dark place they were both in. But then this story took a turn and I didn't see it coming and boy did the author leave me thinking WTF!?!?! That's it!!! I need answers!!! But keeping going she give us a little inside to the next book. She is such a tease!!! She definitely left me on the edge of my seat wanting, needing more. I give this book 4.5 stars!

This book is a MUST read! I was drawn into the story within the first few lines and didn't put it down until I had finished it. It was well written and kept your interest throughout the entire book.
I fell in love with Dominic even though I wanted to hate him. I felt for Ashley a million different emotions at times but I always wanted the best for her. I wanted her to be loved. Even the supporting characters had me rooting for them. At then end of the book, and let me remind you that this is a series, I was begging for more. More of Dominic, more of Ashley, just more. I NEED to know what happen next and I don't often feel that way when I read a series. Most of the time I am curious but I don't feel a need to try and one-click the next in the series just to keep reading. That is what I wanted to do when I finished Ashley's Bend. I wanted to one-click the next in the series and it's not available yet.
Cassy did an amazing job of painting a picture worth a thousand words. This was my first Cassy Roop book but it will not be my last.

This is not my normal reading preference, I was given this book for a honest review, and I gotta say I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read the next one! Ashley is in her mid-twenties and is dealing with the betrayal of her high school sweetheart/husband, who she has sacrificed for and supported for years. Her best friends have invited her to a private club called The Celtic Knot and she decides to go with them to try to have some fun and forget the pain she’s feeling, but she had no idea The Celtic Knot is a private BDSM club or the feeling it and its owner Dominic will have on her. Dominic has no interest in any kind of relationship, he likes to keep his interactions with women strictly in the bedroom. But when he sees Ashley in his club he can’t seem to get her outta his head and decides he has to have her in his bed, but is once enough? Or will he be able to let go of his dark past and acknowledge the feelings Ashley is stirring in him. Dominic not only has to face his feelings for Ashley but also someone in the shadows is determined to bring him and his business down. What will happen? I guess you will have to read and see!

Wow...
I'm still in shock over the twist at the end! But more about that later..
First off this book is incredibly well written. It is an erotic love story but the scenes of BDSM are perfect. I felt comfortable the whole time reading the story and each scene actually felt different from the last.
It begins with Ashley walking in on her husband having an affair. She immediately leaves without giving him a chance to explain. Go Ashley! Next she goes to a mysterious club with her best friends and meets Dominic.
Dominic is closed off due to a traumatic event that happened in his early childhood. Through trial and error the two learn to work through their pasts and develop a real relationship.
Towards the end there begins to be some tension and you don't know what is happening. I have read many books and I did not even begin to guess what was happening. It all leads up to quite a climatic cliff hanger. Definitely be sure to have the second book ready!
The characters are all very well done and I had a connection with them all, even the secondary characters.
