While scouring Aunt Edie's attic for supplies to help Wendy with her latest project, Anne discovers a receipt for two dozen top-of-the-line sewing machines paid for with cash. Anne has seen only one sewing machine in Aunt Edie's house, and it's a different model than the ones listed on the receipt. Why did Aunt Edie buy so many sewing machines? What happened to them? Did someone take advantage of her?

Meanwhile, when kindergartener Liddie notices that one of her classmates doesn't have a winter coat, her heart is touched and she sets out on a mission to collect as much clothing as possible for needy children in their community.

While not my favorite in this series, it was still a fun mystery and read! Like all the other books in this series, this one also has a cover that fits the story well. I do think that there will be more mysteries that come out of Aunt Edie’s attic. ;)

Anne Gibson , head librarian at the Blue Hill Library , finds a receipt for two dozen top of the line sewing machines, while searching through her late Aunt Edie's tubs of yarn stored in the attic. Puzzled by what her aunt would need with that many sewing machines and where they might be stored, motivates Anne to look into the matter. Concerned that her Aunt might have been a victim of a scam causes Anne to try to find out what happened to two dozen expensive sewing machines.
Anne Gibson has always been somewhat of a mystery solver. These two dozen sewing machines get her searching for clues and trying to get answers from her late Aunts friends and acquaintances . While searching for the sewing machines she does stumble on a scam but it has nothing to do with with the missing machines. Is she looking in vain ? Will she ever find where the missing machines have gone?
I have always enjoyed a cozy mystery. I had a hard time putting this book down. If you enjoy cozy mysteries you should read the Secrets of Blue Hill Library series. The series uses the pen name of Emily Thomas as the author for all books in this series. All Sewn Up was actually written by Sunni Jeffers. I have enjoyed this series so far and highly recommend it to you.

I will have to say this is probably my favorite book of the series so far. There seemed to be more faith-content in this book than the others. The main theme was generosity. Though Anne's aunt is deceased, she is definitely a key character in this series. It's unique how each author writes her in. Though the story did take a few chapters to get into, it ended up having many twist and turns. I truly adored the ending. It truly left me satisfied and with a smile on my face. I look forward to returning to Blue Hill soon.

Live this series about a young widow who inherits her heart aunts Victorian home on the condition that she turns the bottom half of the home into the small town of the Blue Hill's Public Library. She and her two kids live in the house half. Aunt Edie was very eccentric and do there is always some mystery popping up. These can be bought at Guideposts.com or used on EBay, Amazon and places like that. Some are available as e-books on Guideposts website. Worth the effort to find them!

Anne finds receipt for 24 sewing machines and cases of material in her attic. She can’t figure out why her aunt would’ve ordered that many sewing machines or where they went. She starts a search for them and finds a scam going around town. Her daughter starts a clothing drive for the poor and Anne stays busy helping with that. Another good story in the series. I have been reading these out of order and while they work as a stand alone, it still seems like it would be better to read them in order.

I enjoyed this book. I have been reading the series; so this is my 8th. It's kind of nice that they are mysteries, but not murders. I do find myself calling Anne a twit sometimes, because she has a tendency to go off the deep end sometimes. Other than that it is nice to read a good clean (no sex, no gore) book.

Anne's obsession with missing sewing machines was starting to annoy me. I almost put the book aside. The story of having compassion and teaching it to our younger generations is well done. The meaning of ministry and missions is well written. Once you get past the missing machines obsession, it isn't a bad read.

I really enjoyed this book even though it is book 8 in a series. It prompted me to look for books 1-7. I was able to borrow books 1 and 4 from my mother-in-law. Now to find book 2.

I picked this book up by chance. I think if I would have took the time to read the back I would have put it down. With that being said I like the gritty murder mysteries and the cozy murders. I thought this book was going to be a murder mystery. It was not, it was a very mild mystery without any OMG moments or any suspense feel what so ever, but for some reason I enjoyed it. I wont be actively searching for the sequels or the prequels but if I do happen to come across them I will grab them. If the christian religion bothers you then you should skip this book : )

Anne Gibson has turned the bottom two floors of her late Aunt Edie's home into a library as she had requested in her will. Working on a project for the library, she was scouring the attic for supplies when she came across a receipt for 24 top of the line sewing machines. Why would Aunt Edie buy so many machines and what happened to them all? Afraid someone had taken advantage of her elderly aunt, Anne starts to investigate.

Sooooo.... I love the series so much I bought the entire set - all 24 books - off eBay, even though I had already read the first 7 independently. (It was worth it based on the per book price.)

Great cozy mysteries!
