This was a wickedly funny short story about Kieron's adventures in Christmas hell. It was a great read. The world building was fantastic. It's a must read for anyone wants to know a more about Kieron and the Laschers.

I seriously love this author. She builds the coolest worlds and the craziest characters that I can’t help but laugh at. She must have one hell of an imagination! I would like to just live in her brain for a few days and see what else she’s got going on up there!

In my opinion, A Hint of Hell was better than A Hint of Magic. It just had more to it. More action, more adventure, more everything. As with Chilton’s other books, it was full of snark, corny jokes, and clever one liners, which are some of the things I really like and enjoy in any book.

In AHoH, the focus is on Kieron. He’s the Demon guy that’s in love with Dora and lives in Hell with his Demon Lord father, and mentally unstable mother. His grandmother scares me. She’s into BDSM which, to me, is a very disturbing thing to know about your grandmother. I would probably throw up if I found out my grandmother was into that. Some things just don’t need to be shared! So essentially, Kieron has a stereotypical weird, embarrassing family in that sense. I mean if you look at it from the perspective that it does reside in HELL.

Definitely liked this more than A Hint of Magic. Much more action and adventure. Claire Chilton’s books are exciting and unique, and in the world of the paranormal, that is refreshing. She pulls a bit from so many different paranormal/supernatural elements and squashes them into one big bunch of awesomeness.

Ever since the first book of Chilton’s that I ever read, Demonic Dora, I have been smitten with this author, her characters, and her world of make believe. I recommend her books to everyone with a sense of humor who looking for a fun read.

A lot of people may have complains about this short story, but I found this to be enjoyable and funny.

I am religious but as long as a book doesn't bash my religion and God badly, I don't mind a few words about Hell, Heaven, and any system in between. I know how to take a joke and when someone is being disrespectful for no reason, so I like how this series play along this area.

I love how adorable Kieron is. He wants to be a evil demon to fit in his society but his conscience doesn't allow that. He is just too good to be a demon lord and I love how he sees that but tries to do his best in being a demon. But this is clearly not his area.

Funny twist with Christmas. I wasn't expecting it at all.

Gotta keep reading the rest of the series.

Due to his inability to be truly evil, his teacher decides that prior to the real evil exam he was going to take a mock evil exam. You know the kind that gets you thrown through a portal and into an icy, succubi infested land that is freaking cold to a poor little demon lord from Hell.

As you can tell this book has snarky, and it is well written shortish story about Kieron's origins, how he got to be where he was when the rest of the series started. It is also a really fast read, I mean with 136 pages I read it in like two hours. Yes it was that good. What is really nice about this is that when you finish there are a bunch of other books in the series to read and so you will not be left out in the cold.

A Hint of Hell is another fun book where Claire Chilton shares her ideas of what hell is like and punishments in hell. I already knew and liked the character of Kieron from the Dora series. Now we get to know Kieron a little better as he is punished for doing so poorly on a practice exam in evil. I am amazed at Claire's vivid imagination and descriptions throughout the books, and this one doesn't disappoint at all. A new legend of Santa Claus that is actually proof of Kieron's evil? You have to read it to understand and believe it! It is a fun read and well worth the short time it takes to read!

I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I think that this book's really great. It gives one more of an insight into Kieron's relationship with his parents. His use of magic in attempting to cheat on his exam was also rather creative. However,he completely messes up on the exam, and is sent off, meeting Santa and accidentally creating Christmas. This book is a must read, and I really loved Kieron's struggle when it came to taking the exam.

Inconsistent

I've now finished this series out so far. This was the least worth reading. kerion seemed like a completely different character. The story was boring and felt like a waste of my time.
