The World Boss is about to re-spawn, and Harvey has much still to do. He may have come a long way, but will he have what it takes to face the might of the world's Adventurers, the wrath of the Undead, and the System itself?
Ultimate Crafter concludes the first arc of the best-selling Father of Constructs series.
That was a great ending to this series, and it perfectly fit Harvey’s character and self-image as the Father of Constructs. I’m sorry that we won’t see more of this group, but they accomplished what they set out to do and did it without compromising their integrity.
This series has been my comfort read, as Harvey has evolved from just a simple janitor who stomped a bug to a legit hero who saved his world... and adopted all the lost and broken he found along the way. Omg, the tears I have cried for this series... although tbf I laughed a hell of alot too...
This review is all over the place lol. I'll stop being a sap and go read the series again 😆
I've loved the series since I first read Book One. It started off great and quickly grew into a work of art. Harvey's journey from poor and ill beginnings to growing into the Father of Constructs was a masterpiece. Amazing characters, great writing, and endless emotion combined to weave a tale of a Father going above and beyond for his children, family, and friends. I've read countless works of fiction over the years by authors of various renown, and I have to say this is top 5 for me. Such an emotional evoking story deserves all the accolades.
For the most part, I found that the events felt good in the moment to read about but not really satisfying as something else kept coming around the corner. Kinda rushed (since there were lots of stuff that had to happen before the climax) and no real depth to remember them by except a few pivotal scenes. The ending was nice but again wish at least the epilogue had given us more time to appreciate the changes.
A powerful, fantasy/sf series that builds a series of characters, some human, some mechanical constructs that somehow learn to love, and all of them revolving around a 62 year old man who rises from the ashes of his life to become a reluctant hero, who’s true focus in life is love and family. His mantra is good men do good deeds. it’s well worth reading and I’ve read so many books that I can’t say that about a lot of of them.
Just finished book 5 and whew! What a journey! I love all the main characters, they feel real and like people you would want to know. I can’t wait to read the author’s next book, whatever it turns out to be.
