This book is based on my year as a U.S. soldier in Vietnam in the pivotal years of 1967-68. While the content is fictitious, many of the situations, dialog, characters and events are based on things I saw, heard, said, felt. My goal is to help you visualize and experience what it was like for a young American like me.

The layout of the story is confusing. Parts of the transcript reads like people saying nothing much, I'm not sure how it advances the story. The writing is good and the topic is compelling.
