The chance to finally bring down a criminal kingpin who had once ruined my life. I was told it was too risky, almost certainly a mission I wouldn't survive. Determined to get revenge, I took it on anyway, going deep undercover. But when my identity's almost exposed, I'm left with only one choice. Accept help from the last person I'd ever expect to rely on. His name's Ozzie and he's covered in tattoos and considers violence a fun pastime. He's the opposite of me in every way, yet suddenly my life is in his hands. We're stuck faking a relationship as we infiltrate the underground criminal world. It's only supposed to be for show, but before I know it, lines start to blur. We find ourselves giving into carnal desires that are too tempting to resist. Soon things spiral out of control and our enemies discover the truth. And we realize we might not make it out alive.
Kings Against the World is book 4 in the Steel Kings MC series. It is an interracial fake relationship MC romance with dark themes. It contains adult content and sensitive subject matter that may be upsetting to some readers. Please ensure you check the content warning at the beginning of the book before proceeding!!!
Sienne has a thing for dark and brooding alphas and the diverse women who love them. She enjoys writing stories where lines are blurred and the romance is dark and delicious. In her spare time, she unwinds with a nice glass of wine and Netflix binge.

I love a good vs bad storyline and that’s just what I got with this story since Zoey is an undercover FBI agent and Ozzie is part of the Steel Kings MC. This book was packed full of steam, suspense and drama making this an excellent page turner. I cannot wait to see what comes next in this series.
“It was an undercover job I couldn’t refuse...” And thank goodness she didn’t—because Zoe Strauss and Ozzie Gallagher might just be the most chaotic, magnetic, and unexpectedly perfect pairing in the Steel Kings MC universe.
Sienne Vega’s Kings Against the World delivers everything you expect from a dark MC romance and then some. The fourth installment in the Steel Kings series, this one ups the emotional stakes by exploring mental illness, substance abuse, grief, and the search for justice—all while maintaining a fast-paced, high-stakes storyline packed with sizzling tension and violent twists.
Zoe is a driven FBI agent with a chip on her shoulder and trauma buried deep beneath her controlled exterior. Ozzie, the tatted-up wildcard with ADHD, bipolar disorder, and a devil-may-care attitude, is her complete opposite on paper—and yet their chemistry is combustible. What begins as a fake relationship to survive an undercover mission in the gritty world of Las Vegas’ criminal elite quickly morphs into something raw, real, and passionate.
What stood out most was how Vega gave Ozzie—who had mostly been comic relief in past books—a rich emotional arc. He’s messy, damaged, vulnerable... and irresistibly loyal. Pairing him with Zoe, who is equally flawed but determined to remain buttoned-up, created an authentic push-pull dynamic that made every kiss, argument, and moment of connection feel earned.
The book doesn’t shy away from heavy themes—trauma, addiction, childhood neglect, and mental health are all handled with a balance of honesty and compassion. While the resolutions might feel a bit too neat for the real-world weight of these issues, the representation is refreshing and grounded in character-driven storytelling.
And let’s not forget the steam. Vega brings the heat with some seriously spicy scenes that don’t just titillate—they deepen the emotional connection between Zoe and Ozzie. The “only one bed” moment alone? Whew.
Overall, Kings Against the World is a gritty, emotional, and sexy ride with two beautifully broken characters who somehow find peace in each other’s chaos. While the darker content may not be for everyone, fans of the MC genre and lovers of enemies-to-lovers dynamics will devour this one. Bring tissues, and maybe a fan.
Highly recommend for readers who enjoy: ✔️ BWWM pairings ✔️ Slow-burn, high-heat romance ✔️ Found family vibes ✔️ Messy characters with heart
Looking forward to Silver’s book—because if Vega keeps this energy up, I’m not ready to say goodbye to the Kings just yet.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5 Stars) 🔥 Spice Level: 4/5 💥 Tropes: Enemies to Lovers | Fake Relationship | Opposites Attract | Only One Bed | BWWM | Motorcycle Club Romance
My Rating System: 1⭐️: The book didn’t hold my interest and/or had significant issues that overshadowed any redeeming qualities for me, but generally not my cup of tea. Most likely did not finish the book. 2⭐️: The book didn’t quite resonate with me, and while my experience wasn’t remarkable, I did finish it. It had some redeeming qualities and potential but fell short in execution. Recommendable, though with some reservations. 3⭐️: Good read, but didn’t quite stand out. Still worth recommending to others. 4⭐️: Really enjoyed it and stayed engaged throughout. Would read the book again. Definitely recommendable. 5⭐️: Incredible writing that made me deeply connect with the characters. I was completely absorbed in the world and didn’t want it to end. This book stayed with me even when I wasn’t reading it. I'd gladly reread it and highly recommend it to everyone!.

Kings Against the World by Sienne Vega is the fourth book in her excellent MC Series, Steel Kings MC; however, the book could have just as easily been titled Kings and Queens Against the World 😊. Ozzie has been featured in the three other books and always provided welcome comic relief. He is irreverent, playful and brings lightness to any setting, no matter how tense the circumstances are. The Ozzie we encounter in Kings Against the World has all those attributes but from the opening chapters Ozzie is floundering and has more demons than we could imagine. I love how Ms. Vega surprises us with her character choices; I fully expected that Ozzie or Silver (hmm hmm) would be the MMC of this new book; however, as the MFC, Special Agent Zoe Strauss was a complete surprise. Zoe made a cameo appearance in King’s Fear No One during the aftermath of the Chosen Saints threat. She was all business and clearly not a fan of the Steel Kings. When she and Ozzie meet again, they are both in tenuous circumstances, she is undercover chasing justice for her sister, and Ozzie is trapped in repaying a debt he claims he doesn’t owe. In a change in setting, we get out of Pulsboro for some time in the frantic, amoral world of Las Vegas. Ms. Vega uses the tropes of proximity and fake relationship to tell this story about two broken people who somehow manage to achieve wholeness together. Against all odds, the fake couple that in real life shouldn’t fit together form an amazing emotional connection but will their similarities AND their differences pull them apart? This story has a strong mental health representation not often explored in romance books but gave a certain gravity and depth to the storytelling. I have read ALMOST all of Ms. Vega’s books and each one is uniquely entertaining! I am eagerly looking forward to Silver’s story. https://theretiredreader.com/f/kings-...
3.00 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Unlimited Edition of a 377 page e-book. VeV Setting: Twenty-first Century America in the following cities: Pulsboro TX, Los Vegas NV, Washington DC, Pomona & New Port Beach CA.
Trope: Enemies to lovers. Mental Illness.
Main Characters: 1. Zoe Strauss, heroine, is a 31=year-old FBI agent trying to prove herself wealth to the Agency. Zoe is from a poor dysfunctional family her sister has been murdered and her parents are drug addicts; in addition, Zoe is bi-polar and sufferes from depression. 2. Oswald 'Ozzie Gallagher, is a member of the Kings MC. Ozzie is bi-polar, ADHD with impulse contro and alcohol abuse issues. 3. Various members of the Steel King MC. 4. Zani is Zoe's deceased sister.
The protagonists are likable and capable characters who generally handling themselves well in adverse situations; however, the author has weighed them down with so many problems in general in addition to emotional, psychological problems in particular that their romance is lost. I didn't enjoy this story as much as I did the others and If feel Zoe and Ozzie need therapy and time to heal before they can be truly loving partners to anyone. But-but-but; they author has them together and supposedly in love- I don't feel it but I hope it works out. They are happy for now.
Ozzie and Zoe are just so magnetic. I’m not sure why I never expected Ozzie to be the main character in his own book probably because I just always considered him the oddball of the group kind of like how he considered himself, but I really enjoyed him and Zoe’s story. Zoe is such a bad ass, even though she’s flawed, even though she’s always trying to be perfect and be the hero and I absolutely love that about her. She was not wanting to back down from a challenge and once she had her focus on avenging her sister nothing and no one could stop her. I thoroughly enjoyed Kings Against the World. Sienne Vega can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned and I am looking forward to the fifth and final book in the series even though it’s going to be kind of sad after rocking with these characters for so long.
Zoe's a FBI agent working undercover to bring down a power hungry criminal who basically wants to rule the underground world. Ozzie is part of the motorcycle club in the underground world. On paper, they are the definition of opposites attract and are extremely different. However, they are more alike than it seems, almost to the point they are identical in some ways. They just deal with their issues in different ways. Ozzie is destructive while Zoe tries to pretend they don't exist. Reading how they coped was interesting and written in an insightful way. Through all of that, their chemistry is off the charts. The fighting and arguing back and forth only fuels it. I loved all the drama throughout the plot as it kept me entertained from beginning to end. Another great read by Sienne Vega.
Ozzie slipped away, not letting his brothers know he his head to a high stakes game. What he does not expect is to find a FBI agent, Zoe Strauss, the club as dealt with before. He saves her when it looks like he undercover may be blown, claiming she is his. Now they have to show up together in Las Vegas when the game is rescheduled, Ozzie is held responsible for a debt not his.
Both have their own issues and deal with them differently. The more time they spend together the emotional connection grows. Is it just until they get of this or can it be something more?
Looking forward to the next in the series. Some may find some parts triggering due abuse, assault and mental health.

I am really enjoying this series. Zoe is such a strong , passionate woman who can take care of herself, and she does so because she has always had to do so-her parents truly disgusted me even though I know addiction is a disease, but they are horrible people who really needed to get it together. I love how Zoe and Ozzie just get each other even when they are warring with each other. They are two sides of the same dented coin- that life has kicked around, and they are better together with each other vs. being apart. Good storyline, characters have combustible chemistry and heartbreaking backstories.
The chemistry between Zoe and Ozzie is hotter than either of them could have imagined. What could a straight-laced, by the book FBI agent, have with a devil may care, live life by the seat of his pants member of an MC? More than initially meets the eye. In the quest to settle big debts, and the desire to finally get revenge on an old adversary, Zoe and Ozzie find that they have to work together to achieve these goals. In so doing, they find that they have so much more in common and an attraction that sets them both ablaze. The storyline drew me in immediately, and the though there's plenty of spice, their story has plenty of spice and a surprising found family element. Loved their story!!
I will be honest, I struggled a little at the beginning to get into this book. But, it was another perfect book by Sienna Vega. I appreciated the addressing of mental health, but thought it read like it was easier to overcome than it actually is. Understanding only so much can be written. That aside, while Zoe took a while to grow on me, girl knew her stuff. Once she finally figured it out, she knew her worth. Just took a crazy man like Ozzie to get the stick out. I love the growth of the brotherhood and the series.

This story was different from the others in the series! It was excellently written with great storytelling and character development! It had high intensity, was action packed and steamy! Ozzie and Zoe chemistry jumped off the page and was scorching hot! This is the fourth book in the series and it it touched on very sensitive and difficult subjects, but Sienne Vega pulled it together and made the story more compelling! A captivating story about second chances and last and unconditional love! Worth the read and would highly recommend!.

Fourth installment in the Steel Kings MC series. Brilliant writing, great character development, incredibly captivating. The story drew me in immediately ultimately making this another perfect book by Sienna Vega. I absolutely did not want to put it down until I read the last page. Ozzie and Zoey's story is full of action, drama, intrigue, chaos, danger and it shows how they deal with the obstacles they face. The chemistry between them is sizzling and steamy. This is definitely something I'd recommend reading. I can't wait to see what Vega comes up with for the next book in the series.

Ozzie has always been the fun guy, but his outgoing exterior hides a man who is also riddled with trauma. He has bipolar disorder and ADHD. Zoe also has mental illness and the two of them have an understanding of each other that feeds their chemistry. I normally don’t like books about FBI/Law Enforcement, but I thought this one was very good because of the complexity of the characters. And I love when books include characters with Bipolar disorder, good or bad.

Ozzie and Zoe are my second favorite couple in the Steel Kings MC. Zoe and Ozzie are both flawed trying to do the right thing. They're suppose to be opposites, but they have so many similarities. Both hide their trauma, but in different ways. This book will leave you wanting more till the very end and the steam in the book is off the charts. Vega never misses with each book published she gets better and better.
A story about two opposites where Zoe is on the right side of the law as an undercover FBI agent and Ozzie on the other side of the law and who operates in dark areas with his MC. They come closer when she needs the help of Ozzie because he has more experience and connections in that area. Great storyline that keeps you interested from the first page.

I tend to be a BWWM snob when it comes to reading. But I have recently become addicted to MC Romance, the darker and grittier the better. I loved Ozzie and Zoe together. Their love was like a slow burn and I loved the sizzle and crackle. This MC was a little different from others I have read, but I think that's what make it intriguing. This is the 4th in the series and from the 3rd to the 4th book, I think the differences really show. I'm ready to read the 5th and final book in the series.
Zoe is undercover in Vegas with the chance to get justice for her sister when Ozzie turns up and forcing her plans to change, a fake romance between was meant to benefit them both, but when feelings come to the forefront everything changes. Well written steamy, suspense, action and more!.

Kings Against The World is book 4 in the Steel Kings MC and is Ozzie and Zoe's story. This one has a lot of surprises, twists and turns! More of Ozzie's battles come to the forefront and then Zoe has battles of her own. I love that they support each fiercely and have each other's backs unquestionably. A great addition to the Kings series.
Ms. Vega has written another excellent book. Zoe and Ozzie make quite the pair. She is on the right side of the law and Ozzie is running on the dark side. Zoe is an undercover FBI agent and when push comes to shove, she needs Ozzie help. I could not put this book down because I wanted to know what would happen next.
Zoe and Ozzie couldn’t be anymore different, a FBI and a MC member. Their chemistry is undeniable. Their scars and pain runs deep. I enjoyed reading this book. I definitely recommend reading this book. Another hit from Ms Vega.
This story was different from the others, it touches on mental illness and substance abuse but The way the author wove it together It wasn't gaudy but enlighten... Ozzie and his fed was an enemies to lovers, fantastic story and worth the read...
“What are you doing with my girl?” Words Zoe never expected to hear much less from the man who said them, Ozzie. But in the moment it was definitely necessary. Turns out they both need each other.

I enjoyed kings against the world which was Zoe and Ozzie’s story. It was the fourth book in the steel kings MC series. The characters had great chemistry. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving this review.
Great read! Loved Ozzie and Zoe's story! They are made for each other! Read storyline filled with stressful and tense situations, attraction, steamy love scenes, new found love, healing, family, love and unity! Love this series!

Good read, I liked the way Zoe and Ozzie’s relationship progressed. Just wish that the takedown of Boone was fleshed out more, and that it happened whilst Zoe and Ozzie were undercover.
