A board book about sibling adventures, squabbles, and reconnection, following three different pairs of sisters
There’s something special about sisters. When sisters play together, magic happens! A sister is a friend for life, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be disagreements sometimes. Follow three cute sets of sisters as they play and explore together, argue, and ultimately reconnect. For anyone with girls who need a little nudge to get along, Sisters Are Sisters Forever is a sweet reminder that arguments happen, but sincere apologies can mend any rift. With simple text from author Brooke Jorden and gentle illustrations by Sejung Kim, this adorable board book is the perfect gift for siblings.
Sisters Are Sisters Forever! A wonderful book about the connections between sisters. It describes what it is like to be a sister and does so alongside beautiful pictures. As a mom of 3 girls, sisterhood is such an important part of our family bond. When my ARC was delivered, I sat down with my youngest little girl of 8 years old, and we read this together. I loved hearing her say, "they do things my sisters and I do!". This children's book is well written, wonderfully illustrated and has a great message.
Thank you NetGalley and Brooke Jordan for the ARC opportunity.
Sisters Are Sisters Forever and Brothers Are Brothers Forever are fantastic, adorable, relatable, heartfelt, and delightful books! These board books highlight how special sibling relationships are. The fun, magic, friendship, and even the fights are included in these reads. I love the relatable description of the sibling relationship and messaging that no matter what our siblings are forever. My sister is my favorite person so this book hit me in the heart!
A very simple, for-sharing styled read, that portrays sisters – they can party, explore and paint together, but they can also cuss and fight like there's only one of them seeing tomorrow. But once a sista always a sista. It really is that simple, and the art – while being great, and not too simplistic – doesn't really offer much in the way of an extra layer. It's fine, but there are many better things for siblings to bond over. Three and a half stars.
This book was really cute! I have two sisters and this really made me chuckle remembering everything we did together as sisters (the good, bad & ugly) but just like the book says sisters are sisters forever!! My only qualm is that it wasn’t longer! Truly a cute book little children will love to read!
This was such a sweet and adorable story. My heart felt warm and fuzzy reading this story. It is such a wholesome short story about sister and what it means to have a sister. All my life I have always wanted a sister and this book truly has made me want one more than ever.
I definitely recommend this one for all parents with little girls!
Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley.

As the oldest sibling, I found myself deeply resonating with the emotional rollercoaster portrayed in the book. It beautifully reflects the real-life dynamics of sisterhood: the joy, the frustration, the apologies, and the unbreakable bond that always brings you back together.
With simple, heartfelt text and soft illustrations, this book is a lovely reminder that while disagreements are part of growing up, love and forgiveness are what truly define sisterhood
