Hollywood Omegas #1

Lights, Camera, Omega

Rate this book
Life was a struggle, going about my days as an unknown Beta actress, then one stumble later, and I’m falling into the swing of Hollywood.

The limelight is nothing like I imagined and being an Omega, a late bloomer at that, makes it all the more intense. I am a star, standing beside Magnus, a director and the Alpha who brought my perfume to light.

Three packs begin to court me as my position in society rises. Though, it doesn’t matter. After meeting Magnus, Sol, and their other pack mates, I had already made my choice.

Sadly, things are never that easy. Between a skeevy agent and a pack who will pay for an Omega like me, the challenges come from every side, ending in a heat gone awry.

Or maybe a heat gone oh so right.

And now, I can’t help but think, can one woman really have it all? An adoring pack and a career she loves?

Only time will tell, but I’m certainly willing to try.

Lights, Camera, Omega is book one in the Hollywood Omegas series, a series of standalones that should be read in order.

Fun read

I pretty much went into this book blind. And I'm really glad that I did because I enjoyed it a ton. There was so much going on but it was written really well and it really grabbed my attention from the beginning and it kept me in the choke cold the whole book. The progression of everyone and their relationships together throughout the book was top tier. Can't wait for book two.

Eh idk I’m not a fan of the writing style. Present tense and I didn’t feel a spark or interest. I was honestly bored living in their heads. The meet cute was awkward imho and I don’t know why she was getting upset?

Not horrible though, so I wouldn’t caution anyone away from it, just probably not my thing.

ARC Review

This debut omegaverse novel follows Daphne, an unknown Beta actress trying to work her way into the fame she’s been dreaming of. After colliding into director Magnus Wagner, a big time Alpha director of a film that made her pursue her dreams of acting, it comes out that Daphne wasn’t a Beta but a late-blooming Omega who was then thrusted light-speed into the Hollywood scene she had always wanted to be a part of. A new agent, packs to consider courtships with and new acting opportunities open up but, Daphne really only has her eyes on the pack of Magnus Wagner and her determination to have the career she always wanted whether it comes with the ties of a pack or not. Choosing Magnus, Sol, Julian and Cosmo was an easy choice as it felt so comfortable being with them but life was not going to be easy throwing in the works of her new meddling agent and one of the initial packs willing to pay their way to having her. Daphne is willing to try to have it all – a loving pack and a career she’s loved and working to expand.

I received this ARC pretty much the night before I am posting this review and I gobbled it up in a measly 6-7 hours. Once I got into it, I could not put it down. The only thing that stopped me was that I fell asleep with the ebook in my hand halfway through it. To start off, I loved the character development so much. Each character was able to have their spotlight when it came to fleshing out their character flaws and see those flaws naturally play out through the blooming new relationship. Even better was the chemistry between them all! Since it’s in multiple POVs, I got to see the individual meshing of the characters as well as the group meshing well with their new omega. I honestly would pay some good money to see more of them all after the events of the novel.

I think the only reason I did not rate this 5/5 was at the first 2-3 chapters, the pacing for the story was a little off for me. The story kinda started right off the bat with Daphne ‘ripening’ into an omega (love the use of that for an omegaverse) but once it was past that part, everything was pretty much smooth sailing and pretty easy to follow the storyline.

An amazing start for a debut author and an amazing start to the series!!

I quite enjoyed this book. While it had the bones of a typical omegaverse romance, there were parts that I felt were more unique and interesting. The late presenting Omega is in her late 20s, older than most FMCs in other books. I really like the older age for Daphne. The main characters were film celebrities of a sort, except for Julian, who is a designer. This aspect brought a more unique quality to the story. This book does contain MM relationships within the pack. I loved all the spice and the story! I can't wait to read the next in this series of standalone books.

I was distracted by the way the dialogues were presented, sometimes it gets confusing who is talking to who :/ which is like what?

And then they left Vinny walk away? I mean if it I were part of a respected pack and I get a drift of how this man is manipulating the heats of other omegas, I would destroy him so no other omegas can suffer the same thing. That made me angry

I don’t know about it, I just felt like the girl had only a genuine connection with Sol.

And the cat? Maybe a part where it said who took care of him while on heat? Idk haha I was just thinking who is scooping the litter box???!?

Anyway, quick read.

This is another rough OV for me. It wasn’t completely terrible but there were several significant things I just couldn’t get past. First, the writing style was pretentious which is just not my cup of tea. Second, literally nothing happens the entire book. Third and this is really the crux of the book for me….I just didn’t like Daphne. She was entitled, manipulative, selfish and she basically SA’d Julian. She was really just a bitch. The spicy scenes were so meh that I skipped the majority of them all together.

If you want some drama but like it low angst this is the movie star omegaverse for you!

I absolutely love reading about surprise omega books cause I love to see them finding their spot in their designation. And this FMC well she knows what’s she wants and she is determined to get!

If all that sounds great to you, check out this book (you’ll read it so fast because you won’t want to put it down!)

3.5 / 5 stars.

Positives:

I had yet to read a book that featured a late blooming omega and the way it was done here was very nicely written. One of the things I liked most is the fact that Daphne was accepting of the change in her situation and life and was looking ways to grasp her new opportunities. As a whole, I enjoyed her personality. She had that mix of sweetness, strong character, and sexy.

Regarding the Pack, they each had their own distinct personality and it showed. I liked all of them but Cosmo and Magnus were my favorite. I just can't resist the gruff asshole who is actually a broken sweetheart deep down, or a daddy with a kink. But all of them had chemistry and dynamics with each other, all different, but all nicely exposed. And the way they were with Daphne was also different with each of them. I did like the moments in which they had their 1-on-1 with her, where each male showed what they had to offer and how they wanted to cherish her.

Negatives:

There was no actual plot? I was very hopeful that we'd get Vinny and Johnny as the bad guys. But nothing happened. I feel the whole focus of Daphne being afraid or uneasy with Johnny fell moot since NOTHING came out of that. Expected more in this front so very disappoint that the story just fell flat by the middle.

For being a story were the FMC wants to grow into showbiz, most of the story is her auditioning, and then one minuscule part where she is acting. And then it just goes to off-screen things and we just hear how she landed a part. As much as I enjoyed Daphne, for being a character driven to grow professionally, the book virtually gave us nothing worthwhile about this once she bloomed as an omega.

Overall:

Very nice read. I did enjoy it a lot despite my disappointment in areas. This would have been SO much better if a conflict with an antagonistic character had actually happened. The characters all had their own situations but I did like them individually and also the chemistry they had with each other. Will I read book 2? Maybe. It comes out next year it seems so it all depends whether I'm still interested in this author and its universe by then.

Omega versa books are one of my favorite tropes. Surprise omega late in life? Freaking done. I had no idea that this was even a trope in a book but hot damn I am here for it.

Daphne is a late in life omega and gets thrown into being an omega actress basically overnight. She goes from a perfectly normal agent to a pretty crappy one who is really slimy. Daphne is trying to find a pack to spend the rest of her life with that would fit into her new life. In the midst of all of this her agent is messing around and just being an overall skeezball.

The spicy is definitely spicing in this book though. The one on ones scene and the group scenes, holy guacamole, the are spicing. I can’t wait for book two!

This is the first book in the Hollywood Omega series. And I absolutely loved it. I really enjoy reading about Daphne. Just loved her personality. I also like that she took becoming a late omega in life with stride. At least to me. This book has tons of spice. And a very, very good storyline. Absolutely loved the guys. I definitely recommend the story as a must read. And I am so excited to see what’s going to happen in book 2.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the tension and chemistry between Daphne and her guys. From the moment she met her Alphas and Beta, I was on the edge of my seat. Daphne suddenly blooms as an Omega and her acting career changes overnight. It’s not a smooth road but it all works out in the end. There was definitely some conflict but it’s mostly a sweet story overall. I really liked how each character was so different from each but they all fit together so well. And the spice was ❤️‍🔥🔥 I was blown away!

This book was like a car crash…. It was so bad but I couldn’t stop looking…

If I had to hear ‘slick pink petals’ or ‘uncut monster’ one more time I was gonna throw my kindle out the window.
This was a 377 page book of nothing, I didn’t care a lick about the characters and Daphne was so irritating!

Omegaverse

Lights, Camera, Omega is my first read by this author. This is a good start to this series.

I love a good omegaverse! Add in a beta turn omega and I'm in. Daphne is a struggling actress. She ends up running into Magnus and Julian and things get interesting. They are part of a pack and she can't believe it when she perfumes. Betas don't perfume! And what about the rest of the pack?

Enjoyed this first book and I look forward to the next one.

This was such a fun read! If you love following who’s who in Hollywood, this is absolutely the book for you. We follow a beta turned surprise omega movie star as she finds her pack and goes through her first heat unexpectedly. This felt like a “keeping up with the Kardashians” type of reality show, but with characters I actually cared about.

This is the first in the Hollywood Omega series. It is a why choose/reverse harem/poly romance that does contain M/M.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Though sometimes it seemed like they made things harder by not just communicating with each other. The fmc is an aspiring beta who suddenly discovers she's an omega, by going into heat. Her creep of a new agent keeps trying to set her up with a pack she has already said no to. Let's face it they all look shady. She picks the pack she wants first by scent and then when they all meet-sparks absolutely ignite into flames. This book features 3 alphas, and a
male beta within the harem. They have existing relationships with in the pack so be aware of that. It isn't until their omega joins the pack that they start to open up and come together. Some take longer than others, but isn't there always at least one character that we all just want to shake? Lol. I will definitely be reading more from this author. Hopefully we get to see Ursula's story too!

I was one of the lucky few who managed to get an ARC and this did not disappoint. I absolutely DEVOURED this book and finished in a couple hours. I wish there was a bit more drama outside the harem with Vinny and the rival pack for the FMC but this was a sweet omegaverse. I loved the fact there was NO other omega/female drama. They’re definitely interesting and keep me on edge but I did NOT want that this time. I loved the M/M and the fact that there was a beta in the harem. There just isn’t enough Beta love and like the FMC I definitely fell for the cowboy alpha first 😉
Hopefully we’ll be able to see updates on this pack at a later time in the series as I love the pack and the ending scene was just not enough. I need more.

This was a great premier book for this author’s pen name. It’s a sweet omegaverse featuring a struggling actress who has become accustomed to playing the beta comic relief only to really be a late blooming omega. Cue famous packs, scummy agents, and a little suppressant tampering and you have all the fixins of a great omegaverse book. It’s pretty light and fluffy which is totally my jam. I’m looking forward to Violet’s next book.

Was recommended this story for a lighter read. It definitely is a lighter Omegaverse read, but not super fluffy either. I was not a huge fan of the way the dialogue was written. The first interaction between Daphne and Magnus almost had me DNFing the story because of how weird the whole interaction was.

Like I've never heard anyone talk that way. It felt like the fake dialogue you see on TV shows, but it wasn't witty it was just weird. Both Daphne and Magnus had really weird ways to react to the situation. She started by apologizing and then suddenly she wasn't apologetic she was mad and blaming him. He started basically mocking her and mentally was noticing her cheap clothes and purse. Like total turn off, he was looking down on her for not having expensive things. The whole scene where she runs into him was poorly written. I couldn't picture it in my head because it almost felt like it was described two different ways. One way it sounded like oh hey she just ran into him and the other way it sounded like she was a total klutz from a cartoon.

I ultimately wound up getting to 87% in before I gave up on reading. I'm not super into famous/Hollywood stories in general, but I wanted to give a solid effort and sometimes you never know when you'll find something you like. I just wasn't really into the characters, writing style and it felt like there was a lot of forced drama (drama invented for the sake of it that came out of nowhere). I will say, the overall plot was somewhat interesting, though it was pretty easy to guess where things were going.

Final note, this is totally nitpicky and will not apply to everyone, but I hated the names in this story lol. I couldn't read Daphne without thinking of Scooby Doo, Magnus without thinking condoms (or a cringe hero name from an 80's action hero movie), and Cosmo made me think of the Fairy Odd Parents. Sol and Julian had normal names at least but hard to get into a story where half the characters names bother you to the point where you get distracted. Couldn't find Cosmo sexy or desirable when he had such a horrible name.. and he was meant to be some hot mega star.

It was too much

This was so hard to enjoy.
The bare bones of the story were great. Beta actress meets a compatible alpha and this triggers her to become a late blooming omega so she needs to pivot her career and life to her new designation. I imagined all the struggles she would have to face with making this transition and how difficult it would be to change her mindset and get used to being an omega and trying to maintain her career.
Too bad this isn’t what the story focused on.
The writer was more concerned with making sure every word in her thesaurus was crammed into every line of this story. The characters spoke like AI generated robots with zero personality past the 60,000 word dictionary that was shoved down their throats. The inner monologue of every male was exactly the same so they had no distinguishable characteristics and they all spoke to each other like total strangers really. More times than not I couldn’t figure out what was actually being described and it sure did nothing to add to the story.
The other issue I have was how the agent was handled. I absolutely can’t stand
“Slap on the wrist” consequences for the “bad guy” in books. Like giving the guy a stern talking to is the way to go when he was all set to take a pay day for allowing your girl be SA’d is beyond obscene to me. Authors need to stop this cop out in story lines because it’s infuriating in today’s society.

Possible spoilers ahead

The writing style isn’t my favorite, mostly the dialogue. It’s paragraphed in a way I’ve never seen before which makes the conversations super confusing. Same goes for the text messages. It took a few reads to realize it wasn’t just Vinny talking, but Daphne too.

Daphne’s character didn’t feel consistent to me. She was strong in the beginning in the sense that you can tell the type of character she was and get what kind of personality she has. But as the book went on it’s like she was a different character. And I don’t mean as in progress. She had a whole shift in her personality and it made it hard to connect with her.

My biggest issue with this book is her first time with Julian. I’m not one who has triggers (no judgement to those that do, you’re valid in having them), but even with that said, it left a really bad taste in my mouth that she basically SA’d Julian. He didn’t want to have sex because his pack agreed to wait and instead of giving him space and respecting that, she sinks down on him? He clearly still felt so bad about it afterwards with his conversation with his pack. I hope I’m not the only reader who thinks this is wrong. I honestly wanted to give up reading the book after this but I don’t DNF books so I’m trying to power through it.
Daphne just isn’t a good person overall. To further prove that, the bonding with Cosmo against pack wishes. I honestly think she may be one of my most disliked FMC’s unfortunately. She’s selfish and predatory, taking what she wants and having no repercussions for her actions. Like she makes them a dinner and just says I’m sorry and they forgive her? This is a perfect example of if the roles were reversed, it would be different and there would be expectations for groveling.

Petals is such an odd term.🥲 But if I’m being totally honest, most of the wording throughout the book is a bit odd.
Also, I’m from Wyoming and we don’t really have accents lol. You might hear a bit of a Canadian mix such as “beg” instead of “bag” or “fleg” instead of “flag.” But we don’t really have accents. Not country ones like the South does.🫶🏼

I’ve heard the second book is amazing and I think I’ll come back in the future and read it but for now, I’ll leave this review. I didn’t DNF per se, but I started skipping large sections after the incident with Julian that I mentioned above.

Auditioning For Forever

You would expect a book about characters working in the movie business to be full of drama, right? Well guess what? This does indeed deliver plenty of drama, yet all in a low-angst manner. It all starts with Daphne’s (our FMC) meet cute with Magnus (1 of 4 MMCs) which triggers her designation switch from beta to omega, and moving all the way up until the emotional & unexpected events at the end 👀😦🥰 While I connected with Daphne, Julian (MMC2) & Sol (MMC3) fairly quickly, Magnus & Cosmo (MMC4) took just a little bit longer to show me why I should wanna see them get a HEA (they showed up & showed what they were made of though 😉😝😂). When it came to chemistry though, between Daphne & her alphas & her beta, I didn’t need any convincing that they were meant to be together (although her agent disagreed 🙄😠). Sometimes the chemistry was almost tangible with the way the scene was drawn out, and who doesn’t love it when the story nearly comes to life right before you 🙌🏻 It was refreshing that, even with scent compatibility, there were still attitudes, awkwardness, & a general sense of WTF are we doing while Daphne was being courted. Biology certainly helped things along for the guys when they started the process of Daphne being a part of their pack, but it was truly their personalities that led all of their hearts when diving into new territory with Daphne & with each other. Of course, that biology & chemistry led to some pretty hella spicy scenes between Daphne & each of the guys individually & all together…gotta love alphas & a take charge beta being all growly, dirty talking & wringing every bit of pleasure out of their girl (and each other 😉) 🥵🔥😈🙌🏻 Beyond all that though, the guys were a beautiful blend of chaotic, creative, broody, protective, cinnamon roll, grumpy, caregiver, and all mixed in with just pure moments of sexiness 😍❤️ I loved that everybody in the pack, including their omega, messed up, they weren’t perfect, they made questionable decisions & had “real world” problems (sort of lol). There was also just the perfect amount of drama to keep things slightly on edge, but never overpowering the romance between the characters 👏🏻 I can’t wait for Ursula’s story next! I loved the little bit we got to learn about her, and can’t wait to see her story play out ❤️

“Daphne Dale really does fit in right away with us—a pack of somewhat covert deviants and perverts.”

Lights, Camera, Omega is the first in the Hollywood Omegas series and it’s quite the ride!

This is my first omegaverse novel so I really appreciated the notes the author put at the beginning of the book, explaining some terminology. I’m not gonna lie, I did assume it was something about werewolves (exclusively) until I googled it before reading this book. It does make a lot more sense to me how popular the genre is now.

This was a fun, enjoyable read for me! Despite not knowing very much about how the omegaverse works, I was able to follow along smoothly. There was lots of spice, along with some drama, and very little angst which I do appreciate. Sometime you just need a break from all the angst that can be found in romance books. It was a refreshing take.

I appreciate that each character had their moments to shine and had their distinct characteristics. I loved the close relationships between the male members of the pack—it was pretty adorable.

“Whenever you two are pspspspsp-ing, I can usually count on something particularly egregious.”

The writing itself was good, if not a bit different. There was a bit over an overabundance of italicized words, which just kind threw me out of it sometimes, particularly toward the end. Emphasis is good to make a point, but we don’t want to overuse any part of speech. That being said, I adored the vocabulary that was thrown into the story pretty expertly. There’re times where it really just enacts the story telling. For instance: “I've been a complete and unmitigated ass.” This line made me actually LOL. The uniqueness of the writing was just the cherry on top of this sweet and spicy story.

Daphne is a not so well known beta actress who is attending auditions and attempting to grow her career. She bumps into a famous director, Magnus Wagner as well as his beta and designer, Julian St James. She LITERALLY bumps into him, gives him a bit of attitude, much to his and Julian's delight and then is rushed off to make up for the show she is in. Little does she know but Daphne is actually a late blooming omega. She presents her designation and is rescued by Julian, who aids in getting her off set and to the omega centre. This wild story makes Daphne the hottest new omega actress. She gets a new agent, who assists in trying to introduce Daphne to a pack. This agent isn't using his best listening skills though and tries to direct Daphne to a pack that she isn't into. Daphne is set on the pack including Magnus, Cosmo (another famous actor), Sol and Julian.

I enjoyed this book, I liked Daphne a lot and enjoyed her ability to stand up for herself as well as apologize and communicate when needed. Communication was definitely needed several times as there was several instances where everyone reacted and then needed to cool down and have a pack meeting. I enjoyed how all the characters developed through the book, they all grew as individuals and together as their couples within the pack and the pack as a whole. I loved Sol and Julian. Having two golden retriever personalities in the group was lovely. They kept the whole group grounded and I loved their dynamic with Daphne. Magnus was saucy and I liked hearing his thoughts in his POV chapters. Cosmo was secretive and untrusting but it was really nice seeing him begin to trust and let people in.

This book was a fun and light read, there was a nice background story and I loved the character growth of everyone! A great debut novel for Violet Braxe! I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series!

I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest review.

Slightly confusing story following a late presenting Omega

So apparently in this world Beta actresses and or actors not really sure if it's both or just women are basically given the mediocre parts in everything.

When Daphne is in a hurry and slams into this super high up guy in the studio she flip flops between being scared and angry in a way that didn't make sense.

It was really weird that immediately after presenting everything changed. It was as if overnight she was this Omega which meant she changed managers, is being pushed onto three big name packs and suddenly getting to audition for this fancy lead roles.

I get that she had her preference of which pack she was interested in because it seems like She basically met her scent match and it caused her to awaken as an omega. What I didn't understand was everything with Vinny and the other pack. It felt like it was going to be like this big evil character and like it was gonna be a big plot point and It just ended up falling flat.

I liked how each of the men took her on like individual dates that were tailored for who they were but for her being this poor beta to suddenly being gifted billions worth of gifts would be crazy to me. Like I would not have been comfortable with that it.

Also, what was the point of the cat? I mean once they randomly dropped him off in the nest house I think he was only mentioned once.

I felt like the story had a lot of potential and I have the others queued up to read next. However, I feel like the idea of this story was way better than what was presented. This was a 3.5 star read but rounding up to 4.

Also, I definitely believe there was some dubcon between her and Julian. He definitely wanted her but now was not the time. She just ended up taking what she wanted after being told no. He enjoyed it but there was so much guilt afterwards that he shout have had to deal with.

🎬Lights Camera Omega

One wrong step sends Daphne’s quiet life as an unknown Beta actress straight into the chaos of Hollywood—where fame, power, and packs rule everything. Except… she’s not a Beta at all.

A late-blooming Omega, Daphne suddenly finds herself in the spotlight, standing beside Magnus—the Alpha director who helped bring her perfume (and her career) to life. As her status rises, three packs begin to court her, but after meeting Magnus, Sol, and the rest of Pack Silver, her choice feels inevitable.

Of course, nothing comes easy. Between a skeevy agent, outside packs willing to pay for an Omega like her, and a heat that goes very off-script (or very right), Daphne has to decide if she can truly have it all: a career she loves and a pack that adores her.

✨ My thoughts:
This was my first time reading Violet Braxe, and it was such a delight. It’s an easy, cozy read with a strong but lovable FMC who fits perfectly with each member of Pack Silver—it was genuinely fun watching their dynamic unfold.

I loved the incorrect designation trope here, especially Daphne discovering later in life that she’s an Omega and not who she was told she was. She also stands up for herself early on and doesn’t let her skeevy agent push her around, which I really appreciated.

Some of the conflicts could’ve been handled a bit more cleanly, but nothing felt overly frustrating. Overall, this was a sweet, enjoyable story with great pack chemistry and a heroine whose personality really shines.

This had potential, but fell a little short for me.

Daphne, a beta actress comes across a scent that she’s obsessed with, before she has an extremely awkward meeting with the front of Magnus’s shirt.

Frankly, Magnus seemed like an arrogant a-z from the first meeting, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like him.
The challenge is if I don’t like a character, it completely changes how I approach the story…

I struggled with the dialogue and the length of the book. It was clunky - way too many descriptors, and words just crammed in that didn’t make sense.
I mean ‘proximal pursuer’… what does that even mean?
All interactions just felt stilted.

Now, the biggest hold-up for me is the MM aspects of the relationship.
It’s not that I’m not a fan (if it’s managed well, it’s not an issue), it’s just that the bond between the pack far outweigh the bond with Daphne. They lived and played together for ages before her, and I feel like they would have been fine without her. There was more connection between the existing pack, than with her during the spicy scenes, that’s for sure.
I mean… she’s going into heat, but it’s not about her comfort. It’s all about the deal that the pack made!!!
It just felt to me that she was an option because she was the only one. Not because she was their first choice.

All in all, it was an ok read, but the execution was off.

An interesting omegaverse with the late blooming of Daphne into her omega designation and her adventures in meeting packs to court through her less-than-stellar agent, Vinny. Daphne, an independent low-grade actress works relentlessly to climb the ladder of the stars but one run-in with Magnus & Julian has her all flustered, in more ways than one. Suddenly blooming as an omega, Daphne’s world is turned upside down in every way and she has to quickly figure out how to work in her new position with multiple packs after her. The story follows multiple POVs, through the eyes of Daphne, Sol, Magnus, Cosmo, and Julian. As the pack begins to court Daphne, there are several abnormal instances that she experiences with other males/designations that shouldn’t happen, but Daphne writes them off as her biology not responding properly to the suppressants. With betrayal and attempted sabotage, Daphne must work overtime to ensure her career on-screen will survive, but will that survival come at the cost of her chosen pack?

“How the hell is anyone ever going to be able to get close to you if you keep yourself closed off all the time? You need to share yourself, your real thoughts and feelings.”
“I want you to have this – a symbol of my commitment and my love for you, a symbol of infinity, an eternal cycle without an end.”
“Time, time is our friend, Sunshine. Because for us, there is no end.”

Overall, this was more of a 3.5 star book for me. That being said, it was really good for a first book. The story line was well developed, few grammatical errors (just an overuse of italics within the book for me), and spicy scenes were spicy! Very low angst throughout the book so anyone with triggers should be fairly safe reading it.

Our FMC, Daphne, is a beta living her best actress life when an encounter with a pack turns her into - suprirse! - an Omega. True love ensues with the pack that caused this to happen. You have your predictable pack of the nice guy (Sol), the loveable beta (Julian), the dominant alpha (Magnus) and the troubled bad-boy alpha (Cosmo); oh, and the villain, the sleazy agent (Vinny).

Again, good book overall and I would recommend for people to read it. For me, it was just predictable. I feel like I've read so many omegaverses where the main story line has happened. FMC is a beta turned omega - check. Pack has 4 MMC's with the above personalities - check. One main villain tied to the FMC in some way that tries to manipulate the FMC (this time through messing with medication) - check. And MMC's are all with each other - check (this was not noted by the author in the blurb but the MMC's are pretty much all with each other). I will read the next book for the author.
