I fell in love with a woman on her honeymoon.
Sounds all sorts of wrong, right? I swear it’s not what you think though. I didn’t break up a marriage. It was over before it even started.

She was all dressed up with nowhere to go when her fiancé ghosted her on her wedding day. I would have thought an experience like that would leave a woman heartbroken and sobbing into a tub of ice cream for days on end, but not Scarlett Dayne. After attending her reception and partying into the night on her fiancé’s dime, she posted to social media in search of a travel companion for her upcoming honeymoon.

As if being set up on a blind date isn’t bad enough, a blind date with a jilted bride on her honeymoon seems all sorts of crazy. But from the moment I met Scarlett at the airport I knew she was someone special. She’s adventurously fun with a great sense of humor and I’m enjoying every moment with her.

It’s way too soon to make a move, I know, but what if after one remarkably memorable day, my mind is made up? What if she’s it for me? Can two people fall in love in just one day?

WHAT IF WE DO was once published as GHOSTED, a Jilted Bride trope story introducing Oliver Magallan, team Captain of the Anaheim Stars hockey team. Under the title GHOSTED, this novella was included in a special Halloween themed Anthology in 2023. Now with a new title and updated story material, WHAT IF WE DO is now the first book in the Anaheim Stars hockey series!

OMG!

This book was so fun! And what a great intro to the Anaheim guys!!

I loved Charlee (his sister) connecting with Scarlett and bringing her out for the game!! Ahh!!

What a perfect way to interlace the two hockey worlds also! I am excited for more from these guys but Oliver is YUMMY!

So basically we have a jilted bride who goes to the Halloween party with a hockey player, then they have a one night stand and there’s an insta love. The story is short and ridiculous but I had fun anyway.

Scarlett's fiance Mark never showed up to their wedding. Her cousin Ledger puts in a good word for Oliver to go on her honeymoon with her. When Oliver sees Scarlett he knows he's in trouble. It only takes one moment to fall in love.

I adore Ledger for getting Oliver to go with Scarlett. I like how Scarlett vlogged the experience for her followers. The second Scarlett said that he wouldn't be able to miss her I knew it would be good. I was so shocked when she showed up like that. What a cute little story. I need more of them.

Seriously... how does she make you fall in love with characters in less than a chapter? Massive talent and amazing skills - that's how. This book is amazing!

Oliver and Scarlett are just the most perfect couple. Two people with a huge zest for life and they aren't afraid to pursue it - or each other. Their pursuit is sweet and romantic yet intentional and crazy passionate.

Writing is so insanely good and off the charts amazing. You will literally not put this down until you finish it. (Ask me how I know this.)

I cannot wait to see what else the Stars get up to in this series.

holy shit

Holy shit! I don’t know why I didn’t realize that this story was so short, but the length of the story did not affect how I feel about this story at all! I fucking loved this story!!! Oliver and Scarlet are amazing. Even I felt this weird cosmic draw between the two of them. It was just breathtaking! It was amazing to see their instant connection and it was not all just lust. It was like their souls were connecting. Wish it was a longer story so that I could see them in the future and married with kids yes, but I loved this story. It was amazing.

What a fantastic novella to enter into the Anaheim Stars era! Scarlett and Oliver were done justice by Susan. Greatly written and a whirlwind of a story that just sucks you in from the start. I can't wait for the rest of this series as it will be just as good as the Red Tails.
Hockey, love and romance....what more can you ask for.

YESSSSSS!!!!!

Omg Susan has done it again!!!! I got the amazing opportunity to Arc this book for her!!!! Scarlett is an outgoing bright light. Oliver is the captain of the Stars hockey team. They meet up for a Halloween party and he shows her how she should really be treated. Her dress is my favorite part throughout the whole book though!!!!!

We got a smidge of him in the Red Tails books.

This book was fantastic. I thought poor Scarlett in the beginning but as you keep reading it’s just gets better & better.

I loved their adventures in New Orleans. It was so fun !!

This book was amazing. Scarlett gets left at the alter. Rather than mope she enjoys her reception and then puts out into the universe looking for someone to be her plus one on her honeymoon. Insert Oliver. The adventure these two go on had me hooked. I absolutely loved it every turn and spontaneous moment that led them together. I cannot wait to continue this series.

I know this was a short story so I get having everything rushed... unfortunately I feel like it was almost cheesy with how quick it all went down. there were cute parts and sweet happenings... but overall I kind of wish it wasn't so "wam bam thank you mam". Just didnt feel realistic... especially as much as i wouldve liked it to be.
