Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.

He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.

I enjoyed this finale a lot and would even like it more if the author would continue the stories of Ally, Arran and Lithon. We’re told their future in broad strokes and it would be nice to get more details on how they find more wizards and knights. Will kings of other settlements be crowned in the future? In fact, who crowns Lithon? It doesn’t seem likely that anyone with any kind of authority would have survived. I liked the fate of the winged demons and am also curious about the three plus Krastiny that were left on earth.

I additionally liked the background information about how these books came to be published.

And then there was hope

A meaningful ending to a combined work of fantasy and science fiction. Again, while there are always shades of gray with Jonathan’s tales there is always the hope at redemption.

New beginnings often come after tragedy. Nature even makes seeds to not only survive forest fires but require them; much the same with Jonathan’s stories only through strife can the characters complete a metamorphosis into better beings.

New world of Carlison.

Chose 5 star rating as I thought it is a great sireas. My only disappointment is the story line ended with the return to their world. Would have enjoyed reading of the return of of the Kingdom of Carlison.
