You know the story, love. It’s a tale as old as time itself. Boy meets girl. Boy loses girl. Girl meets devilishly charming man who tempts with her everything she’s ever dreamed of—and the Devil doesn’t make promises he can’t keep. You see, darling, that boy never deserved you to begin with. You, my treasure, you deserved the entire world laid out at your dainty little feet—and so much more. No ungrateful, simple-minded boy could ever give you that. But I could. I will. My Evie. My eternal love. Only creature on God’s green earth, Heaven above it or even Hell below, who could ever stir the flames of desire into my cold, sinner’s heart. I stole you from that pathetic moron you were calling a fiancé again, it’s true. But after the way he screwed you over—frankly, this time, it was like he was asking for it. You were never really his, love. He might have put his ring on your finger, but he never owned your body. Your heart. Your mind. Your soul. No matter where you are, what you look like, the name you wear, or the color of that fire dancing in your eyes, you’re mine. Always mine. You’ve been mine before, more times than you’ll ever remember. You’ve been torn away from me more times than you’ll ever know. Now that you’re finally mine again, here’s a new promise for This time, it’s forever. I have an army of the damned at my beck and call, more gold to my name than even kings can fathom, the powers of a fallen angel at my fingertips and the command of the Inferno itself in the palm of my hand. Never fear, love. I’ll protect you. I’ll keep you safe. Whether you want it or not. And this time, if anyone dares to try and take you away from me again… This time, there’ll be hell to pay.
This is the complete Married to the Devil series in one book!
I read the first book but i just didn't care enough to keep going. Lucifer was too blah, he should be terrifying! I just didn't feel it. Maybe it was my mood
I got to somewhere in Chap 18 and could not finish this book. The plot is weak and it seems to remind me too much of another book by another author with the devil’s name being Lucas Ifer, CEO of Abaddon Inc. I just looked it up, it was Claimed by Lucifer by Elizabeth Briggs. It’s a series and it’s really good.
Just as in this book, the FMC comes to the MMC’s place of business in Las Vegas. Except where this one has a dumb female going for her master’s degree that, after attending her bachelorette party, somehow wakes up the next day married to the MMC, which is also the day of her wedding, the other has a smart FMC that came to Vegas to make a deal with the “devil” after her best friend goes missing in Sin City, leaving behind her small child. Neither female know that he really IS the devil. Both also suffer from some sort of amnesia and although I didn’t get to the real reason behind why this one suffers, the reason the other suffers is valid. Both FMCs go through reincarnations where Lucifer has to locate them. Both have angels that are not so kind and angelic as the stigma leads you to believe they are. Also, spoiler, both seem to actually have been the original Eve from the garden and both are actually Lucifer’s mate.
The latter series by Elizabeth Briggs was really good. I recommend it. This one, not so much. Maybe it’s just too slow or maybe the fact that it is so similar to the other series that I’m comparing when I read it, but it’s been awhile since I’ve read the other series.
Anyway, happy reading!

This review is only about the Evie and Luke book. I didn’t finish the entire series about the other characters. Evie and Luke were meant to be together since the beginning of time if not for the angels’ murderous interference. I loved the premise of the story. I’ve read both devil and angel romance genres but this is a slightly different take. Pacing was good and plot was interesting. Great character development. Evie did annoy me in the beginning because she held on to her doubts and lack of trust like they were gold. Loved their epilogue and HEA.
I first read this years ago. I happened to stumble across it and had to give it a second go round. It’s as good now as it was the first time I read it. Heaven, Hell, Lucifer, Michael, demons, angels. And thrown into that mix are 4 human women. Women that have lived and loved four demons over and over each time they are reborn. Get ready for a ride for when things happen ( and believe me,they DO happen) the action is fast and furious. Four different love stories all tied together into one destiny. I can’t recommend this highly enough!!!
Had to shelve it…I tried…I really did…but it was on repeat…the characters got progressively worse for me. I made it 68% through but that was skipping through many parts because I found it repetitive and not sure why this was a series.
Great twist on demonsnonly wanting free will for humans. Good and evil is not so black and white. It has many shades of gray in between. There is where we find this epic tale of Lucifer's bride.
If I could have read this in one shot I would have!
Good story, great characters, and I am looking forward to reading the next series. This includes all of the series with a little cliffhanger at the end.
Great read. Kind of interesting reverse good vs evil. Fantastic world building. Sort of mystery/prophecy. This is a condensed version of the 6 books ,and it's long. Kind of put off by the use of the C words several hundred time.s Some good smexing.
This bundle was magnificent!! I couldn’t put it down!! This was very well written, I wish there was another set of books to go into details of the riders and all the daughters!
Characters are very lackadaisical about HUGE life changes. Sex fixes everything apparently. I couldn't manage to get invested in any of the characters...DNF after first book
