Summary: A great reference book by someone who is clearly very knowledgeable. I personally don't agree with the way she describes Saturn. She's not wrong, it's just I take it a bit different. Also, it sticks to planet-planet, vs. Planet-ruler-house. It also only does the 6 aspects.
This is excellent even for an intermediate astrologer as Aharoni clearly knows here stuff. The way that she describes the opposite signs is such a lovely way to think about kharma. In this regard page 20-32 will definitely be influencing the way that I do composite charts. Similarly with North and South Node which I think are so vital but rarely discussed. I like how she's talking about it and her manner of description is wonderful.
My issue is a personal preference thing, so it's a minor removal of a star for me. Saturn and I have history and when people describe it in a particular way, that is more common, I think they miss an opportunity for the lessons and potential abundance that Saturn CAN be about if people are able to become at one with Saturn. The way you communicate what you see is everything so this is truly just a personal way that I do my practice, but I know most people do not describe Saturn as I do.
But over all, this book makes me want to read the other books in the series. So I would absolutely recommend it.... likely more for intermediate seekers of astrology knowledge. I think if you don't yet "get" the aspects and how to properly read the dynamic multi-facets of a chart, you'll likely go the wrong direction with this book until you do. I mean, because once you're learning aspects and partner charts, you can't just ignore the multiple aspecting. Aharoni is describing it correctly and is breaking it down beautifully into the microsteps. For an intermediate knowledge person, they likely will know to use her knowledge in composite to enhance their abilities. A beginner might not be ready yet, though.
