Art of Love #4

Commissioned In White

Rate this book
What do multiple weddings, a new career for Ellen, several characters moving, and an art gallery opening have in common? They’re all in this new novella in the Art of Love series. There are also scenes that will reveal the characters for Books 5 and 6 coming next year. For max enjoyment, reading the previous 3 books is highly recommended.

BONUS: Contains two 3-chapter excerpts. One is from NEXT SONG I SING. One is from THE DEMON OF SYNAR.

For those of you who read the Never Too Late series, but not this one yet, the Art of Love series is a bit different. It is slightly more serious than the first series, but it does have many humorous moments. The first three books in the series center around a family of male artists consisting of a father and two adult sons. This fourth book is purposely more light and humorous than the full stories. It’s goal is to provide pleasure, answer questions, and tide readers over until 2012.

USA Today Bestselling Author

I am an active dreamer and find writing to be the best way to use my creativity. Needing to satisfy both sides of my brain, I have become a cross-genre author of contemporary, romantic comedy, fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romances.

I feel blessed that my books appear on bestseller lists for humor, romantic comedy, space opera, and more. I crave laughter from all my readers and focus my attention on making that happen as often as possible.

I love to hear from anyone who has read my books. Each reader is a hero or heroine to me. I am inspired by you.

Part Four in a Series "Art of Love"

The author again leads us deeper into the family of Will Larson. Can I get adopted into this family? By now you are hooked and waiting for book five to be released. Bravo Donna McDonald!

Such a fun read

Catching up with all of the Larson’s is great fun. The author does a super job of tying each family into the storyline. I can’t wait to read about Brooke and Drake next.

I laughed so hard in this book. The wedding stuff had me in tears! I am tickled that Michael and Carrie get another chance at a family. And even though Shane and Reesa are married, I am glad they decided to have a wedding. Shane's fainting spell had me rolling! I was also pleased that Reesa finally is ready to accept that she is in love and happy with Shane. This was a great little read. Can't wait for book 5!

It's funny like with all the romanticism, love, passion then the weddings of Larson brothers finish in comedy, nothing guaranteed so far for the protagonists of this lovely series. And if also is been moving reading of much love between all couples protagonists, I have laughed a lot reading of Shane and Jessica wedding.

I just love the Larson men and their brides! I was truly laughing out loud at Shane and Reesa's wedding! I want to see what happens with Jillian and Joe and Drake and Brooke (I'm hoping these will be books 5 & 6 in this series and I can't wait!) This has been a wonderful series so far, and I can't wait to see what's to come! Thanks Donna!

I am glad I knew it was a novella before I began. No surprises in this story, but a nice way to tidy up the wispy end of the other Larson stories. It also adds to the anticipation of the next story. If you haven't read the other 3 books I wouldn't bother with this until you had. I'm not disappointed that I read it, but it wasn't as good as the other 3.

Disappointed

I loved the first 3 books in this series but was disappointed in this finale. It was rushed and thrown together like it was meeting a deadline or getting it over with as maybe author ready to move on. I missed the banter and adorable relationships.

A great what I call a bridge book which updates current characters while introducing new characters in a series. I adore this family and often reread books in this series!

I didn't like this wrap-up novella as much as the the series. It answered some questions but still left a lot open. I will wait for the next ones.

This very well written series revolves around how the characters use art as a way to express what is hidden deep inside their hearts & souls.
