This is the second book of the series. Ivy and her friends are at a nightclub when they are offered a pill by a stranger. Her friends take it, but she does not at the behest of a strange man. Turns out, the drug will help others transform into ghouls. A war is on the horizon~ And Ivy shall soon learn her father is part of those who bring it. The drug known as Elixir, will change any species into ghouls. They unite with Nyx, princess of fairy, her wolf mate, Evander, Adam, his mate Ivy, Gwen a witch, Everett-Adam’s brother, and others. They will go on perilous journeys to stop the Queen of Fairy, Ivy’s father, and others. So many secrets will be revealed. So many paths they will have to follow. Sacrifices and lives will be lost. Powers will manifest and change. Many dead species will be revived. Mates will find one another. It all seems hopeless, but this war will span years, maybe even decades before it is all finished. The story started off great but it just was a run on book. I couldn't wait for it to end. I felt like I was reading the same thing over and over.
