I believe the book is important for every HR professional to understand the numbers language. this language is a must for HR professionals who are interested to be in the C-Suite or who want to add value to the Company.
The book will give you an understanding of financial fundamentals, statements and metrics. Moreover, it will provide you with examples of how HR can benefit from these financial framework.
However, in some occasions, you will feel overwhelmed because of the deep technical details. Yet, with other reading or practicing, you will grasp the main ideas.
I think the book will be better if it provides real world examples from CHRO's discussions with other board member and what kind of questions should be asked or discussed by CHROs.
