This is a very basic read. Very repetitive as many first level books are, but the content doesn't have any access to relationships with the characters, and that is something that is very important to me when choosing a book to read. This would be something I would have on my shelf for very basic time fillers for the children to practice their reading skills in between planned activities.

Copyright 1996. This is a Scholastic book.

This book is about how fun it is to play outside in the winter. Level 1 - preschool to grade one readers. If you are the reader, definitely below preschool would be interested in this.

The perfect early reader for a snow day. My four year old can practice reading this book on his own. The images easily provide context for the story. I love having this book as a resource for weather, snow, and winter themed homeschool lessons.

This is a level 1 preschool-grade 1 book. Very simple text following two young children waiting for snow. They get their mittens and scarves ready and wait for the snow. Once snow falls they go out and play. This book goes hand in hand with Snowy Winter Day by Estelle Feldman... Neat little books for a beginning reader-listener.

Xander read this book to me. Again, I think it was inspired because of all the snow we have outside. This is a very cute, predictable story which I would recommend for K or 1 students depending on grade level.

Good beginning level book. The words are appropriate, and the plot is fun. Kiddo enjoyed this one and read it to Kutey several times.

A lot of rhyming and exclamation points. good book for bringing in the winter and not dealing with the holiday jargon.

Story of kids waiting on snow. Very slight storyline to it. Good for beginning readers to read alone but not for a read aloud. (Keep)
