That's does it! I am SICK of these baseless accusations about me giving terrible books a pass because they feature generous helpings of sexy wilderbabes! I can assure you I like Shanna the She-Devil: Survival of the Fittest for very legitimate, very actual reasons.

Which I will list for you now.

...

Come on Patrick...think...think...

Oh! Maybe I liked the somewhat mundane plot, did you ever think of that? Or like, maybe sub-par artwork is what I look for in a graphic novel! Yes, those are both totally legitimate points and I'm definitely not going to reevaluate my reading decisions anytime soon.

No, YOU need to take a hard look into the mirror!

Wilderbabes. Honestly.

This mini-series had a bit more story than Frank Cho's run, but it was hindered by some truly ugly artwork throughout.

Paper-thin pulp pastiche. Action-heavy, story-light, with a 13-year-old's mindset when it comes to women. Borrowed it from the library and enjoyed it for the 20 minutes it took me to read, but I'd have felt ripped off had I spent any money on it.

Gray and Palmiotti are not my favorite duo. I just feel like the really create their books for the male gaze. Shanna is such a fun character and her other comics are much better.

The art and story aren't as strong as Frank Cho's preceding book, but it's still a decent read.
