I appreciated the chapters on marketing. The online environment of SEO and online advertising algorithms was a black box to me. I appreciate knowing at least a bit about it and how to leverage it. My research seems to indicate that most people don't bother with it, or just do it lip service.
In other parts the tone and approach was off-putting...written by a couple of American "bros" in their 30s. They are apparently successful, although some reviews peg them as "all hat, no cattle", which rings true. They are overzealous about sales. It hits particularly poorly since they aren't lawyers and have never worked in a law firm. 90% of the law they talked about was PI (I guess this is where their law buddies work?) which is very specific and doesn't always translate. They are sales guys through and through, which is why the "lack of true substance" remarks resonate.
It's tone deaf at times, but got funnier when I listened to one of their podcasts where they try to make meaningful analogies between their success and their protein powder regimens and personal trainers. I also like the two-thumbs-up poses in all their pictures. I liked the caricature-ness of them. They amuse me.
I won't take a lot of their advice to heart. If someone followed up with me 20 times as they are suggesting, I would fly into a blinding rage. This ain't 'merica, bruh. Thank God.

Find Your Purpose
I almost did not pick up this book due to the title that didn’t fully pertain to my career. I am glad I did as there is lots of excellent content translating your purpose to profit. I think this book can cater to a wider audience if it’s more generic
