This is a Clean Cowboy Romance, and this is the third book in the Big Sky Centennial series. I enjoyed the characters in this book, but I wanted Hannah's character to be more stronger at times. I just felt as a single Mom of Twins she needed to be stronger well then her character show. The romance was ok. This was a quick read and it was a cute and sweet book.

First off -- get a load of the cuteness factor in that cover. Out of a score of 10, I'd give it 100! This is the third in the multi-authored Big Sky Centennial series and it just keeps getting better and better. No worries if you haven't read the first two -- Her Montana Twins reads well as a standalone. But there are a few continuous mystery themes that will whet the appetite of the series fans. Things are heating up and I can't wait to get some answers in the subsequent books.
Hannah's story really touched me. She has a lot on her plate for a young woman. Somehow her identity has gotten skewed and she is living her life more for those around her than for herself. As she struggles with the dissatisfaction of feeling trapped Brody suddenly turns on the charm and things get a whole lot more complicated.
Brody definitely tilts the swoonworthy scale. He loves horses and kittens and babies...and Hannah. His quiet, steadfast way of wooing her will melt the most hardhearted of readers. Definitely a heartwarming, soul-satisfying romance that you don't want to miss.

Her Montana Twins, the 3rd book in the BIG SKY CENTENNIALN series by Carolyne Aarsen is truly a well-written, heartfelt, and enjoyably sweet story! The characters were so vivid and the theme of second chances was handled so well. Filled with lots of heart, faith, hope, love and inspiration, but definitely not preachy. It felt so personal and realistic to Hannah and Brody, as they struggled to forget the past and move on for their second chance at love and happiness. I loved this book and it is definitely one of those "hard to put down". Even though this book is in a series, it can also be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend it to everyone .

I loved this! The Story was so sweet and heartwarming as a widow and single mom of adorable twins, Hannah struggles to find love again. The cuteness factor of the twins added so much to this story. I loved the spiritual thread throughout the book. This book is the third in a series. It can stand alone but does have characters that are in the other books. Plus there is an ongoing mystery that is building and I am so curious as to the outcome. Can't wait for the next book in the series. These authors are doing an awesome book. The books flow so smoothly.

It was a good, wholesome romance. I am a bit annoyed that the main subplot about vandalism/fire has no conclusion. It just hangs there in perpetuity. LS is probably Lucy Shaw, and her fiance, whoever that is, is most likely the culprit. I just like books with actual endings I guess.

Her Montana Twins is authored by Carolyne Aarsen and is the third book in the 'Big Sky Centennial' series. It is a very sweet and loving romance and I enjoyed it immensely.
Hannah Douglas is David Douglas's widow and the mother of 13-month-old twins, twins her deceased husband knew nothing about. She had been with David for many years but he made life altering decisions without discussing them with her. Between David, his parents and the town folk of Jasper Gulch she was browbeaten into marrying him before he departed for Afghanistan. She was in the process of making some life changing decisions of her own concerning their relationship but as soon as he was called up she felt forced to marry him. They had only been married two months when he was killed in action and now, almost two years later, she is known throughout Jasper Gulch as David's poor widow and she is so exhausted by everyone's' pity she wants to scream!
Brody Harcourt has always wanted to be with Hannah, from the first day he saw her when he was a senior in high school, but she was already dating David. He has never forgotten her and carried a torch for many years. After David was killed he gave her adequate time to mourn and knew it was now or never if he wanted the chance to win her heart.
As the plans for the Big Sky Centennial continued she ran into Brody frequently but when her in-laws saw her with him, even though it was a meeting, they treated him terribly. Her ex-mother-in-law has already told her she did not want her to ever remarry and the rest of her life should be a tribute to David. (Gag me! That makes me fighting mad!)
Brody was a volunteer firefighter for the town and Hannah didn't know if she could handle the danger he was placed in each time he fought a fire. She was confused and because of her in-laws had much guilt about moving on.
My thoughts: I loved this book and Brody was a super guy, a wonderful boyfriend. Hannah was strong but reluctant at times, always questioning if she was doing the right thing. The first half of the book's pacing was too slow in my opinion, seeming to drag on without much advancement in the storyline. From the halfway point on it was fantastic. I marked it down 3/4 of a star because of this. The characters' development in the second half was excellent as was the outcome of this book.
I highly recommend this book as well as the series. It is best to read this series in order although I did read a couple out of order before realizing they were part of a series. The only problem was not knowing the other characters and their loves that came in the previous books but it was still understandable. Thank you Ms Aarsen for a wonderfully written story.

Contemporary Inspirational Romance
Put a baby on the cover of a book, and I find it hard to resist. Put multiple babies on the cover, and I'm hooked. Carolynne Aarsen sets her story in the beautiful country where Jasper Gulch is located. Nothing about the plot is revealed in the cover, except you know there are twins involved! And yet there are hints of more. Raising twins is a handful for any parents, but a single mother must have a strong support group backing her up to manage any semblance of sanity. Find out how Hannah handles her family and the help she needs. This is part of an ongoing anthology by numerous authors, and you will get more enjoyment out of reading the whole group, but I found this one to do well as a stand alone book, and easy to read.
I bought this book for my own enjoyment.

The third story in the Big Sky Centennial series is the story of recent widow Hannah and her two year-old twins. Hannah is very busy working at the Jasper Gulch Town Hall organizing the picnic basket auction and fair for the mayor and trying to raise her twins on her own. Her parents, in-laws, and the town are supportive but also treat her as a charity case as her husband died while serving in Afghanistan. Brody is a rancher and volunteer firefighter who has been attracted to Hannah since high school. Brody uses the fair as a way to be close to Hannah and get to know her. Brody's family helps out by babysitting the twins and bringing the couple together in "family" settings. Brody and Hannah work with other townspeople on the mystery that runs through the series.

In this story, we meet two fatherless eighteen month old twins and their widowed mother. She married David just before he left to fight for his country - and he never returned. Now Brody, who has loved her from afar, has made his move. While his mother cares for her twins, the two find a connection.
This was a very sweet read. The two were a couple through the last half of the book. The climax was believable, and the results were sweet! Gotta love Brody!!!

Of the centennial books, I think this was my favorite so far, but then I'm usually a sucker for love stories with kids in the equation, so I guess that's not surprising. This was so sweet, so adorable, so many warm fuzzies, just like all of them. I especially liked Hannah as a character--her growth, her letting go of fears, her taking chances, but also her desire to be known by something other than the town hero's widow, wanting to be known and appreciated for being herself, not part of a legacy. It made her story a bit more meaningful, having that struggle as part of her identity.

The Story was so sweet and heartwarming as a widow and single mom of adorable twins, Hannah struggles to find love again. This was worth the read and I am glad I won it on goodreads because I couldn't have enjoyed the read without winning it.

I really enjoyed this book. Love Inspired books are always great for a little pick me up in between longer novels. The story was interesting and dealt with some real issues that I don't believe are often discussed about young widows. Aarsen pulled me into a little town and had me wanting to find the rest of the books to see how the bigger story finished.

Hannah and her twins are making a go of living in Jasper Gulch. Brody and his family moved there when he and Hannah were both in high school. Hannah is now widowed and not sure of anything but loving and raising the twins.

Great story. I enjoyed it. However, I felt disappointed with part of the ending. We never learned who was behind the missing time capsule and fires and why. The subplot played a role throughout the book. It would've been nice to see that wrapped up for a more satisfying ending.

Love under the Montana skies!
I loved this story. I’ve read the books that came before this one and they were good but this one stood out for me. Loved the characters and the way they developed the story. This series has developed as it goes on and then you’ll find the answer to the situation that started in the 1st book. Even though you can read these as separate books it really is better to read them in order to follow the stories to the very end.

A great read
I always fall for Ms. Aarsen’s characters. She writes them so well, with flaws and all. I love that she weaves hope into the dark times and adds redemption and forgiveness to underline that hope.
