I really liked this book. The heroine Erika Dunn was just 6 yrs old when she was abandoned by her mother in the small town of Moon Valley. She took her inside the Blue Moon Café and told her she had to go get something out of the car. She left her daughters suitcase by the door and left, never to be seen again. Erika was taken in by the café owner to raise with the entire town looking out for her.
The Hero of the story Judd Foster is a traumatized war hero who had come home with the intent to keep to himself and forget the trauma and losses he had experienced in the military. I really liked this story because the main character is attached to everyone in her town because most of them had a hand in helping raise her. I do recommend it! (I'll be keeping my copy to read again).

A Valentine favorite... Mine at least

Erika is a sweet, bubbly, outgoing woman. Judd is grouchy, inverted man who is trying to adjust back to civilian life after the military. Erika wants Judd's barn and doesn't seem to take no for an answer. She decides to help him end his hermit lifestyle and ends up getting him to fall head over heels for her.

In Finch’s romantic novel, Judd Foster has just returned home to the family ranch after serving in Special Ops. He wants only to surround himself with solitude while he heals from the trauma he’s endured. Enter Erika Dunn, the local do-gooder who views Judd as the man of her dreams. When circumstances intrude and the pair is forced to pretend they are a couple, Cupid’s arrow strikes!

A nice addition to the Cowboy at Heart series.
