4 - "You got balls, doll." Stars!

Decent end to the series, bearing in mind I read the first two installments well over a year ago, it wasn't difficult to pick up where the last novella left off.

"Thank you for caring enough to come. Thank you for realizing you couldn't stop me. Thank you for being you."

A predictable end to Bash and Olivia's coming together, but the author also offers the connecting information up to take you straight into Matty and Kayla's story.

Its good to see the author has now released all three sets of serialized novellas for the McDaniels Brothers as individual books, for me that is a plus, as I am still not a huge fan of the trend of splitting books up.

Christine Bell is one of those authors that never disappoints, I just wish I thought to seek out and pick up her books more often.

Ok, thank God Bash's awful luck ended, lol.

I gotta say, in the first two books I debated between slapping and hugging him. In this one, I mostly wanted to slap him. Man, way to trust people. I get his protective side, but c'mon, dude. The good thing, though, is that he leaned from his mistakes and finally good things happen to him and Olivia.

Like, finally.

Really enjoyed this short series, and I'm even more excited to see that it will be continuing with Matty's story. From the little tease we get in this one, it looks like it's gonna be a good one.

I'm wondering if we'll also get to see a trilogy of Reid, the other brother. We see little of him here, but for some reason he appears to be kinda sweet. I'd love to read more of him as well.

So, looking forward to reading the next part 'Matty and Layla's story'.

I really enjoyed reading The McDaniels Brothers series.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the last installment of Bash and Olivia's story.

Bash and Olivia own me and even though I found myself wanting to slap Bash a few times with some of the decisions he makes in this novella it also showed me he would do anything for the people he loves, his brothers and Olivia.

I was so happy to see them finally get their HEA and that life was looking good.

Looking forward to Matty's story, he is the older brother who might seem like a hardass but I get the feeling he has met his match in Layla. Bring on June!

Thank you Christine Bell for writing this very enjoyable series :)

Another good one! :)

That's an awful review, but I just don't have a lot to say about it. I liked it, it was pretty short, so...

Good ending to their story! I will surely read Matty's story as well.

Fix You: Bash and Olivia, Books 1, 2, and 3 (McDaniel’s Brothers)

If you are the type person that does not like "waiting" then I recommend you purchase all three Ebooks and have them ready to read accordingly.

Christine Bell "hooked" me from Book 1 with her strong characters and the great plot. The story flows extremely well and was a very enjoyable read. Also Christine did well with the dual POV. I loved being able to read both sides of a story a once and not in two separate books.

I really enjoyed the drama, the suspense, and the romance from the beginning abusive tendencies of Andy, to the perfect sexual chemistry between Bash and Olivia, the background story lines for Olivia regarding her family that plays-out through all three books) and the McDaniel’s Brothers background (regarding how they grew up and why they are so close now), the action (boxing/fighting), the right balance of disappointment vs. achievement, the fear, the love, and the hope.

It is a story of two people from totally different backgrounds falling in love, dealing with the turmoil of life and pulling through at all costs with a little "sexy" thrown in for all around balance. I would highly recommend all three books to other readers interested in this type story.

Lindy's Thoughts:

Fix You, Bash and Olivia Book Three, was a stunning conclusion to their story! This serial has been addicting, and exceptional from beginning to end! I cannot recommend it enough! In the third installment, Bash is caught in a hard spot when he is strong armed by mobster, Mickey, in to taking an underground fight where anything goes. Olivia and Matty are determined to stop the fight before it even begins, because not only can Bash be severely injured, but it could cost him his chance at a real boxing career. The plot thickens in this installment as Bash and Olivia have to go face to face with Andy, Olivia's abusive ex-boyfriend, and the secrets Bash keeps to try to protect Olivia threaten their relationship. Ms. Bell sure can write sexy! This story was filled with passion, steamy sensuality, and a beautiful romance. To top it off, we get suspense, danger, and a page turner that you will now want to put down! I give this installment 4 "You don't want to miss this," Bold, Brazen, "Bax is a hottie" Filled Stars! Read this serial, it's simply amazing!!!

My Favorite Quote:

"Because this was so much more than want. It was tenderness and love, and I fell into her kiss the same way I'd fallen into her. Not because I wanted to, but because I needed to. Because when I saw her, I had no choice." (Kindle Loc. 1157)

*I received a copy of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Book three begins right where book two left off. I love that there’s no timeline jump between these books.

When an unexpected visitor shows up, just after Bash left her dorm room, telling Olivia he needs her help to stop Bash, she rushes off with him without hesitation. I love that she has the strength to do what’s necessary even when at the same time she’s dying inside. And her seeing Bash fight is the most difficult front she puts on. But it’s better to have his head on the win instead of on her worrying how she’ll react.

“I was going to cheer my head off and smile while I did it, until he stepped out of that ring. And then? I was going to fucking kill him for this.”

Bash keeps trying to take on everything by himself. He thinks Mickey is his problem alone and he’ll even lie to those he loved to keep them from the mobster’s reach. Although all he ends up doing is pushing away those who care about him.

In the final Bash and Olivia book they figure out their relationship, the jury returns a verdict on his case, and it creates an opening into the next book, Trust Me: Matty and Kayla Book One.

My Favorite Moment: The rooftop picnic. Sometimes, well truth be told a lot of time, I’ve wanted to smack Bash upside the head, but that picnic had me rethinking bodily harm to him.

Book 3 is as thrilling and hot as the first two! The same exact spirit: Olivia has problems, Bash fixes it (and vise versa) and they get hot and heavy!!! My only problem and it is was a big buzz killer for me, is the end!!! Totally abrupt, in the middle of what could have been a great scene and/or a bridge for more, and without even making any sense!!!! It really killed me, like an iced shower in the middle of a steamy moment!!!!! What bothers me the most is the effect it had on the whole series!!!!!! Your last impression when you finish it, is that it was made just to sell and that's it!!! It's an ultimate insult to the story and it's a shame!!! Because IT IS such a good story!!!!!! And it's not even the author's potential to blame!!! Because the writing style is amazing! You do feel everything in your bones which shows how much talent she has!!!! It's terrible for me because I loved it so much and I adored Bash and Olivia!!!! After all this said, i can only confirm that i enjoyed the series and those books are truly worth it, if only for the butterflies factor!!!!!! Thumbs Up Anyway!!!!

5 Fixed on this series Stars

Can I get an Amen!!! Olivia and Bash's story comes to an end in this third installment. Now in theory, we may get more of them in the soon to be released series featuring Bash's brother Matty, but regardless, questions were answered and there was no cliffy for them.

I loved that this story was seen to completion and I have loved the journey along the way. Bash is really a lovable character, and I love that Olivia complements him so well. His story was more heartbreaking than I could have imagined but it was not the focus of the story, simply a revelation into Bash's character.

As with the last book, this one picks up right from the cliffy in book two and takes us through to the HEA. It moves at a fast pace and entertains the entire time. I loved the ending--well until Ms. Bell comes out of left field with the turn of the page. OMG...I so did not see the storyline coming the way it did for Matty but I think I am really gonna love his story as much as I loved Olivia and Bash's--can't wait!!

My first indicator of how much I love this story is that I read this about 2 seconds after it was released yesterday. I had to know how the situation with Bash and Olivia was going to resolve. I wasn't disappointed.

There's quite a bit of action and sexy times in this part of the story. I've read other boxing themed titles, and this is one of the best, at least in my opinion. Part 3 is jam packed with some great scenes -- an illegal boxing match, a court date, a celebration and a very intense scene at the end that helps Olivia and Bash understand their feelings for each other. Very nicely done.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the serial format. I would have loved to have devoured all 3 parts of this story in one afternoon. the good news is that there will be more story here. I was pleasantly surprised to read that.

So overall, a very nice, tight boxing themed new adult title. Recommended.

My stars have been steadily declining in this series since it started. I had never real a serial before, but the first book was so beyond amazing, that I had to read the second. The second book was pretty good, and I figured I was already committed so I'll read the third book.

This was my least favorite, which is weird because endings are the best part but the storyline just seemed to drag, and it's a novella so it wasn't very long to begin with, but I just felt meh about the whole thing. I was getting sick of reading about bash being stupid and Liv being a wimp, and Andy being crazy. Yawn. This would've been one really good book, but to drag it out over three novellas, made me lose interest. I won't be reading Mattys series if only because I don't want to get committed to another set of so-so novellas.

Three stars.

What a great little read. I'm good with serials, but for this one I could definitely just read it all at once.
The conclusion of Bash's legal problems was fantastic with a nice little surprise thrown in there. I loved how Liv didn't back down and stood her grounds with Bash when she needed to, and it was clear she grew and learned her lesson from her relationship with Andy.
Liv and Bash's steamy scenes together were great, sexy and erotic but tasteful and more often than not - swoony.
The mix of all the different issues layered in this story culminated in a nice little buzz of tension that made the HEA all the sweeter.

Recommended.

This was my least favorite of the three books - didn't give me enough closure & resolution to Bash & Olivia's love story. I liked that Olivia grew up quite a bit in this book, demanded to not be kept in the dark while Bash battles with possible jail time & has to participate in an illegal fight to get money back that his brother owes. They have some great makeup action going on but it still wasn't enough to get over the fact that Bash tries to protect Olivia from his problems by keeping secrets. I am looking forward to the next series about brother Matty and I'm sure we'll revisit Bash & Olivia to see if they earned their HEA.

I am so glad that I was not disappointed by this final part of the serial. It held up nicely to the first two parts and the ending was exactly what I wanted for these two. Bash and Olivia worked through a lot of stuff, including the trial for Bash hitting Andy and working out Matty’s debt issues. I liked Matty a lot more in this book and I’m actually interested in continuing on and reading his story, although the serial thing again is going to kill me. I will probably hold off until all three parts are out so I don’t have to wait.

I loved the two other books in the series, but this one was my fav! So many great lines to choose from. Loved this one:

"If I love somebody and they love me back, I’ll take a bullet for them. That includes you.”

Bash, you gotta love him and Liv was a real sweetheart. Although she does have a little steel in her and that's what I found so appealing about the series. Highly recommend for those readers who like a hot vivid read!

Book 3 I guess you can say has some drama in it, but what H.E.A. doesn’t have a little drama in it. With the whole crazy ex-boyfriend issues behind them they really begin to work on them, and where they are going and the journey they are taking. I have to say that I really liked this series. It was a very easy read, but also a definite page turner, I would end one and go straight to the next one, I couldn’t wait! So check it out. I’m ready to check out Mattys story next!

Pretty good

This was another pretty good story. It had me chuckling a few times with the morbid humor. I still have a couple of unanswered questions, like what happened with Olivia's dad and ex, but that doesn't hurt my enjoyment if the books. The characters had consistent personalities throughout the book, which was overall likeable. The heat factor was pretty hot, and it had a good plot.

Thing between Olivia and Bash go from wonderful to crappy in the blink of an eye. Bash is trying to take one for his brother but by doing so he lies to Olivia. Olivia wants to be a team with Bash, so she refuses his excuses and cuts her losses. A crappy turn of events brings what's important to the forefront. Can Bash be the man that Olivia needs? Some hot steamy juicy sex. Fabulous ending.

I liked how Olivia and Bash's story ended, but it felt a little rushed to me and left a few loose ends (like why Olivia's mother was leaving her father now and why Bash's old boss decided to help him with his case when he was so eager to let him go to begin with). Still, even with those questions, it was an ending I enjoyed.

This book had a great deal of potential. That is why I hated to give only 2 stars. At the end of the day, to many things are either not touched upon on a deeper level or not allowed enough development to make it the great story it could be. Loved the characters and the premise, just to on the surface and no real emotion.

Such drama for these two, but it all ended well for Bash and his lady love. What intrigues me more is the set up for his older brother Matty and that scumbag he now works for whose daughter is going to manage him boxing till Bash's debt is paid. This ought to be good!

I'm excited that I finally know what happened with Bash and Olivia-- for whatever reason, I really felt compelled to finish out their story. I feel like Books 1-3 could have been combined for an excellent novel. Regardless, if I look past the few irritants of the story, I really enjoyed it.

The finale of the Bash and Olivia story seemed to lack some of the drama and excitement of the previous books. There are a few incidents that are intense but it felt like there needed to be more. Overall the series is great and would definitely read other books by this author.

I received this in a bunch to stuff my kindle for the holidays. This was actually a pretty good read. I loved the story and how the romance grew between the two characters. They both had a ton of stuff to over come but I throughly enjoyed the story.
