Another great story in the Iron Gang series. Lots of action with plenty of twists and turns. The world building is just fantastic and you can't help but get invested in all of these characters.

aside from the fact that there are an UNBELIEVABLE amount of errors in this book, and the fact that borderline beastiality is committed multiple times but i dont wanna talk about that, the most unrealistic thing is the fact that a character that died in the previous book is alive and well in this one like ?????

Wowser... read in 24hrs
What I can say.... standing ovation Vera what a ride you rake us on this time.
So this is about Locke the pres of the Iron Fang. We are comfortable with Locke as a character as he appears in all previous books. HOWEVER Vera took this and decided... nope you don't know Locke at all hahahaha.
I won't post any spoilers incase any one too eager checks the reviews.
Emm... she's a different breed of woman that's for sure. She is a bounty hunter who accepts a job hunting Locke for a bounty, only there's more to her than meets the eye and that becomes clear quite early on in the book.
I love the Journey that Vera takes us on with this book. Even for Iron Fang it's dark and my god there were some points my heart broke for Locke as we finally get his story and answers as to why he seems so unhinged. Vera certainly knows how to write them. But I do have to say I'm glad that Emm seems just as unhinged. In alot of these types of stories the female seems to be the opposite of the Alpha, so he's big and mean and she's small and kind. Vera threw that out the window with Emm. Whilst she matches him in so many ways, she allows Lockes love to shine through and Emm happily let's him, but she is no push over either.
I think my brain malfunctioned reading this and I am gonna have to go back and read it again as I'm sure there are still some parts that I haven't fully digested lol.
I applaud you Vera, my God girl... that's one hell of a ride and I cannot WAIT to read the next in this series. I have no idea where your gonna take us but my God I'm sat here willing and ready to jump on board lol

Locke was rabid, his MC that was meant for the rejects of the paranormal kind, was no unsafe with him, but when his mate turns up in Emm she's on a mission of her own. Well written steamy action drama agsts and more a great addition to the series.

Locke is the President of the Iron Fang. The MC are rejected shifters from Elysian and some of them have found their second chance mates. However, The Goddess, Selene hasn’t sent Locke his yet and he transforms into his wolf and goes feral. Usually, when this happens the rest of the MC should hunt and kill the one turned feral as they are extremely dangerous and want to hunt and kill. However, since it is the Prez and all of the MC owe him, they don’t. Good thing too. Because a female bounty hunter by the name of Emm shows up looking to hunt down Locke. She parks her RV in the forest by the lake and meets Locke as his wolf. As her sick sister, abuela and nephew are now in Venezuela after fleeing Mexico, they are all being hunted. Emm needs to make enough money to get them to the States. The money from Locke’s bounty should do it. So she goes into the Iron Fang hangout and some act nice and some act wary around her. I love Journey. Her being the Goddess Selene’s priestess, is just awesome. The fight scenes in the book are awesome and OMG, this book is so freaking steamy I still have the AC on hours later. lol. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Anaki’s book. He is my fave character and I adore him.

Part of The Iron Fang series each can be read as a standalone with a group of rogues that form their own group of rejects doing good their way. Locke the president of the club we have met him through out the previous books and the others see him as the alpha of the rejects. All of the rogues are on the brink of going feral or already feral and needing their second chance mates after being rejected by their mates and/or packs and coming together to form a family. They’re a mix of breeds/species who come together to save women, protect each other, and eventually find their mates and settle down without the fear of needing to be put down. Now it is Locke turn to find his mate Em who just happens to be a bounty hunter out for his head but when thy meet something more happens she is so much more than meets the eye and the more time they spend with one another the more she realizes there is more than meets the eye and the closer the two of them grow but will she turn him, will she realize he is her mate, will the bounty be worth it, does she still want to turn him in, will she agree to be his mate saving him, and is there a HEA for him as well?

Finally the long awaited Locke is here. I was eager for his story for so long. We got to learn a lot about Locke, his past, his secrets and what he really is and why he's the Alpha.
I will say this, his personality is completely different from this books than previous ones....and not when he met Emm....just completely different.
I did enjoy his character and glad to see we will have more. Emm was a fun character as well. Now we have Anaki next and just got introduced to a winter fae that I have fingers crossed will be mated to someone in the MC. I'm hoping Bones will be soon as well as Bram.

Vera has done it again and this time she went even darker. I love every moment about Locke and Emmie. He’s obsessive unhinged ways, her fierce tenacity.
These rogues, on the brink of going feral (or already feral) and needing their second chance mates after being rejected and cast aside by their packs, come together to form a found family of the most epic proportions. They’re a mix of breeds/species who come together to save women, protect each other, and eventually find their mates and settle down without the fear of needing to be put down.
Vera, Locke is a gift! I’m unsure how you’ll top him. But I say that every book.

Sooo worth the wait!
I've been waiting for the Prez to get his mate and locke and emm didn't disappoint at all! I read this book sooo fast! So many things were uncovered! Glad we get more of them in Anakis book! I can't wait for sizzle either! I thought we were gonna see abuela and bones together but glad she has her mate in the afterlife! I wonder if hawk and Delilahs little girl will be luis' mate! Cant wait to read more! So many options! Again vera hit it out of the park!!

Locke Unhinged!
Locke’s book was on a whole other level from the previous books in this series, and I loved every moment.
This book was full of secrecy and chaos. No sweet beginnings for Locke and Emme. I wouldn’t call it enemies to lovers… but somewhere a step before enemies. But this book was so great. Story wise, I think this is my favorite so far of the series.
THE SPICE!!! I promise you the spice is so much hotter than the books before. Vera Foxx went WILD on this one and it was absolutely delicious.

I enjoyed it!
It was a bit long winded at parts, but all in all I enjoyed this world.
I do wish that we knew more about where Lock came from, how he got together with some of the others that followed him to the earth realm.
The book had a good red thread through the series, I just wish it went a bit deeper, I kept feeling like I was scratching just below the surface. :)
I really liked Locke from the other books as well and it was nice seeing him get his HEA. ❤️

Gahhh this series has me in a chokehold, and Locke's story was well worth the wait! Locke is probably the most unhinged character in the MC that I have read so far and that made me love him all the more for it. It also made his fall for the equally Feral badass fmc Emm entertaining to read. the way these two had me cackling especially when love was shifted into his wolf form! I hope this series never ends.

On top of the new smexy shifter goodness, Locke and Emm had such killer chemistry. Emm could be one of my new favorite FMCs. She's such a badass.
Loved all of the new lore and info on the magic through both realms.
Some editing complaints, but not enough to make or break. Just a couple things I'd notice here and there.

Found it was a REALLY long book with a lot of details and stuff going on. BUT, it did turn out to be really good. I’m not sure if I’ll continue reading the series but I am curious about Emm’s sister.

LOVED it!
Although their relationship when rather quickly… i guess it’s what happens with werewolf genres. Yet, overall it was a Fantastic read. Truly enjoyed it. The spiciness this book has is truly wonderful 😏

Spicy 🌶️ but confusing
Liked the story but in many occasions I found myself really confused and lost. I loved the spicy scenes they were amazingly well written but I hoped the story line had more explanation.

Spice is through the roof and Locke is a little kinky. The plot was great, but trying to make him a Lycan wasn't integrated well and just made things more complicated than yhey needed to be.
