Dixie Land, in her first book, has the ability to grab your interest from the very first page and she keeps it until the very end. Maggie left her hometown where she worked at the hospital as a nurse and where her fiance' was a doctor. Her finance' wasn't what she thought him to be and she started driving and with luck she found the perfect town named Serenity. The people in Serenity were so friendly and took her in like she was one of their own. It is a story of danger and loving people who became her family and along with Ross, her new love, saved her life. Norma Hammer - Clinton, Iowa
SERENITY by Dixie Land. From the time Maggie drove off the highway into the quaint town of the past called Serenity, NC, she felt comfortable. Maggie is welcomed by the friendly community, so she decides to stay. Her past and future catch up with her through a mix of romance and mystery. This is another thrilling book and you feel like you are living in the small community of Serenity. Dixie always provides more than enough action to keep you spellbound as you go from chapter to chapter. I highly recommend this book.
